The hallways in D-Corp seemed so long when you had no time to loose! Gabby hurriedly walked through the corridors in the hopes of finding the right classroom. She should have remembered the classroom number, but in all the chaos of the early morning she had completely forgotten to. “You prolly don’t remember it either, do you Sil?” The girl sighed; she really didn’t want to be late for this class! Sil was her companion, her fellow friend, she had been looking forward to this class for ages!
“Huh, Sil? Where have you gone?” She twirled around just in time to catch a glimpse of a silver coloured tail disappearing into what seemed to be an empty classroom. What? Gabby grinned and quickly slipped in after her dragon, unable to suppress a smile. Oh good, it was the right room and look, the teacher was still writing something on the board, that meant she was in time!
She ruffled her feathes to gain the teachers attention and chirped: “Heyo mister Coleman!” She smiled and paused, “I’m Gabby, we’re here for the dragon class! Finding the classroom gave us a bit of trouble, but we’re here now, thanks to Sil!” Her gaze drifted to the chalkboard with the keywords and her grin widened as she read over the words. This was sure going to be an interesting class, she was eager to start!

Perilas finished the last bit of what he was writing. Oh joy. This one was going to be one of those that couldn't shut up, wasn't it? Not that he minded, too much, he prefered them over the ones that wouldn't ask a single question, but that much talk often zoomed right over his head.
"Hello." Peri turned to face the girl. She looked an awful lot like one of the other kids he'd had. A boy with a gold. At least the silver seemed much happier than that gold had. "To start off, do you have any questions?" He almost dreaded asking this question, but the kids seemed to enjoy talking about their dragons and this one didn't seem to be any different.

How nice and cosy! Little cushions lying everywhere instead of just simple boring chairs and wooden class tables! She liked this classroom already. Gabby quickly made her way to one of the cushions and plopped herself down, crossing her legs as soon as she sat. Silenias followed Gabby and curled up besides her, resting his head on her knees and his eyes fixed on the chalkboard. Knowing Gabby and her ability to think up questions from the top of her head, he knew that this class would take up a fair amount of time, so he might as well make himself comfortable.
What a silly question! Of course she had tons of things to ask, what else would she be doing here! Gabby nodded enthusiastically and laughed happily before she began to blab. “Yes, mister Coleman! I’ve actually done some research for today, I got this book about dragons from my mom, you see..” she trailed off while smiling. “But anyway! Yes, there’s quite a few things I’ve been thinking about! Umm..I am kind of surprised by how large his wings are! Will they get much larger? They’re like enormous!”
“Also, I know this is a silly question, but when reading my book it said something about Silver’s greatly disliking Red dragons? Is that really true, I mean, I know there’s other kids with Red dragons, I saw them at the egg meeting, but will they be able to get over that dislike? I don’t want our dragons to fight!” She blinked and reached down to pat Sil behind his ears. She liked how non-violent and helpful he was, she didn’t want that to change!
“Aaaaah, and then there’s the food issue!” She exclaimed, suddenly remembering about that. “Mom and I mostly eat fruits and seeds and other stuff like that! Mom gives him a raw meet as she says he needs that.” She made a face, meat, yuck, raw meat, disgusting! “But I just want to know what would be better for him? Is it okay for him to eat other stuff too?” She fell quiet now and bit her bottom lip before she started to giggle a bit. There were still a couple of things she had and wanted to ask (or just discuss), but she couldn’t even remember her own first question!
Sil listened quietly to Gabby as the lovebird girl continued to talk and talk. Sil shook his head and rolled his eyes at the teacher. Never ask Gabby if she has any question. He was curious about the teachers answers though, this was all about him after all! Slightly offended Sil glanced down at his own wings. Were they really so huge-enormous as Gabby had stated?

((Eeek! Sorry! I didn't see your reply because the thread fell down... ^^" *feels bad*))
Peri just blinked at the long speech. It took him a moment to recover, and he was wondering if she was going to pick right back up if he didn't say something. "Well, uh..." He tried to think on what her first question was... Oh, yeah. "His wings aren't really that large... Part of it is just him being young. Red dragons have really large wings compared to their size..." Which brought him to another one of the girl's questions.
"Well, in the wild, red dragons and silver dragons share similar territory so they're often competing over food and space. I'm not sure if your dragon will like any of the red dragons or not, but at the very least, they'll probably be indifferent to each other..."
"Yes, dragons require meat. It's their many source of nutrients, though they can eat other things. You'll just have to see what he likes and doesn't like." Peri shrugged.

Gabby simply stared at her teacher as she awaited his answer. Her mind was racing and new questions were already starting to pop-up. But oh, there the answers came!
Sil’s ears perked up at the teacher’s answers as well and he unfolded his wings at a whim, almost hitting the lovebird girl in the process, and gawked at them. See, they were not that bad at all. “Sil, whatch it!” Gabby giggled as she poked the dragon in the side, “Uh oh, he can be quite clumsy at times, you see.” She added, now gazing back at Mr. Coleman. “But aah, I see! That’s good, I mean, the red dragon thing is! Although I wasn’t too worried.” She assured him, “cause Sil doesn’t seem like the fighting type, he’s rather sweet actually!”
“Ummm. I have a few more things to ask, is that okay? You see, I know that they are supposed to master the human language eventually, and my sister’s dragon, Re, he already speaks a bit of it, but Sil hasn’t at all so far! Is that a weird thing?” She blinked and tilted her head. She found that rather odd, but well maybe it was simply cause Re was a little bit older, or maybe some dragon species were simply better at speaking than others.
((OOC: Eep. Don't feel bad. xD <3 It's okay. I've been rather busy as well, so no worries! ^__^ Glad we're continuing now though~!))

Peri chuckled at Sil's reaction to his answer, nearly whapping his partner upside the head with his wings. "Ah, but he's just a baby and all babies are clumsy for a while."
The man nodded, though he wondered if encouraging the questions was good. "It takes them a while to learn the language and each dragon learns at their own rate. Some dragons take longer than others." Perilas shrugged at that.

Gabby giggled at Peri’s reply and she nodded happily, “Haha yeah! Mommy told me I used to be soo clusmy as a toddler as well, so that’s probably it then!” she continued to nod at his second reply and smiled, “I see, okay! Ummm.. I could have sworn I had more things to ask..” she mumbled while scratching the back of her head. “But I bet there’s a lot more to know!” She added with an excited grin as she patted Sil’s wings.
Silenias felt, well, silly for getting so overly excited at the man’s comment about his wings. Almost knocking his partner down, that was something for Gabby to do, not for him! The dragon curled back up and glanced thoroughly at Peri. This class was too exciting, he couldn't sit still at all! For once it seemed he had as much energy as the lovebird, and well that was quite an accomplisment!

Ah ha! He'd run her out of questions! Though the man had wondered if that was even possible... Nonetheless, he took the opportunity to gesture up to the board. "There's a few things about silver dragons written up there," he told Gabby. Most were self-explainatory, but he'd see if she had any more questions about any of that.

Gabby nodded as she followed his hands pointing towards the chalkboard, “Yeah, I’ve seen those already, I like the non-violent part. And how he hates injustice and cruelty! Does that mean he likes peace? That would make him sorta like a dove, right? With white doves being a symbol for peace!” She said, grinning from ear to ear, “But umm.. I was wondering, apart from those things, I mean, I am sure you’ve got lots more to tell! You know all about dragons after all!” She added, as her grin grew even wider.
Like a dove? What a weird way to put it! Sil knew about doves, he had seen them before; no way he was like that! The teacher would surely put that straight, right?

Peri thought for a moment. "I suppose so... in a way. Though doves represent peace while silvers often strive for justice. Though they don't like violence, they will fight if they find it necessary. Their main breath weapon is extreme cold, but they can also release a cone of paralyzing gas."
"Do you have any more questions? If not, then that's pretty much it..."
