 *It was starting to look like another perfect evening as the stars over head started to wink in and out of sight, the scattered clouds were vibrent with their deep hues of golds, pinks and reds. Seemed like the perfect night to be alone, or so thought a lone wind soquili. Shaking his neck a little, tossing his sandy colored mane about his neck, the long strands almost touching the ground as the black and gold dashed stallion stepped further through the large forest clearing. His eyes, the color of old gold looking toward the skies above.*
"What a nice night. Nice enough to meet someone besides a human one can not understand in the least." He chuckled thinking of the encounted he had the night before. "Though one does have to wonder if any one is still awake at this late hour."
*Shaking his head again, Shihab stopped at a small stream, lowering his head to teh glistening, half frozen water he proceeded to quench his thirst. He had been a long day of slow travel, seeings Shihab didn't utilize the fact that he did have wings and could fly, he thought it best to walk. More pleasent that way at least. Way more pleasent.*

Chaser walked about as she saw indians decorating there tepees as hers was already done that was so like her to.Her indian had to have everything perfect it seemed she walked as the white frost crunched under her pink hoof she gave a shudder as the air begame colder as she looked around.Hey blue eyes searched for someone more fun the stuffy old two leggers
Chaser flipped her purpleish pink mane as she watched.She slowly approched the forrest soon taking a 'journey' to find someone else.She was soon out of the forrest yet still where indians celebrating this 'thing' that she did not know of.Her attention soon turned to a soquili...with wings!He was also like a bird like her friend Zariba but he was much more colorful"Hello sir?"

*Shihab came to an abrupt halt as his dark ears turned quick to the voice that had broke the near silence of the night. Turning his head, his eyes spoted the strange colored mare that had come from yonder native encampment. Stretching his tri-colored wings a bit, he turned to greet the mare.*
'Evening Miss." He said with a fluent bow before raising his head back up to gaze at her. "I am sorry to have disturbed you from..."
*He didn't know what the mare was doing and he cetainly was feeling a tad foolish for his mind going blank. Shaking his head, the long strands of his mane waving a little like the weeping branchs of the willow trees, he looked away a little. Even if an eye remained upon the mare. Soon folding his wings back to his sides to turn just a little more to be completely facing her.*

Chaser gave a laugh he looked nervious she watched him and gave him a warm heart"Oh please you saved me from comlete bordom!i was searching for someone so I wouldn't have to watch my boring old indian decorate her tepee"She gave him another smile as she dipped her head
She flipped her mane as she looked at his wings so pretty she wished she had wings.She was always so interested with birds it was amazing to learn about them though most would think that was stupid...like studing rocks was any better.Se shook her head as she looked at him she just dazed!
Chaser forogt to tell him her name she gave a bit of a bow she looked at him"I am Rainbow Chaser may I ask of your name sir?"She swished her tail which micah loved just like her eyes

*Shihab looked past the mare, back the way she had come, his ears hearing the soft voices of humans. He gave a small snort shaking his head and the thoughts of a loner he had met. Looking back at Rainbow Chaser he bowed his head again, being all mannerful and gentleman like as he was raised.*
"A pleasure to save you from such boredom miss Chaser. My deem many seasons ago, is Shihab." He introduced himself before canting his head to the side a little. "Something the matter Miss Chaser?"
*He had noticed that she was admiring his wings. The tri-colored feathers of old gold, black and indigo. Simple colors, but held specific meanings to those that cared to know about them. Stepping a little closer to Chaser he looked again back toward the break in the trees toward the large fires of the human, a small shiver ran through him as hte night air started to have a bite to it.*

Chaser gave him a smile as she flipped her mane making sure her flower was still ok she watched him"Oh please don't call me miss!That makes me feel so old,and I am SO not old"She laughed at her stupidity but hey Daray thought she was funny so she didn't care
Chaser couldn't hold it in his wings were amazing"Shibah may I say your wings are stunning...you are lucky to have such a gift"She shuffled her pink hooves as the wind blew through her mane
She sivered the freezing breeze was not all that fun at all so she gave a little sigh of hatred towards the cold.She was much more of a summer horse she could play tag more often and it seemd like more baskets arived to.Her blue eyes watched him for his response

Shihab gave a small chuckle as he nodded to her request. It was just his way really, being well brought up after a time of foolishness and trick. He looked at chaser with a straight face as she mentioned his wings. he hadn't really noticed that they were that... 'stunning' before. Merely colored feathers on limbs attached to his body, but he nodded once more.*
"Of course Chaser, though I'm not sure what's really that special about them." He said opening his wings as if he were going to take flight into the star lit skies above.
*The feathers being gold, black and indigo, all melted into each other as if they were meant to be that way. Shihab tilted his head a little as he noticed Chaser 'shiver' closing his wings again he stepped over closer to her, knowing that at these times it was best to share body heat to keep warm, though he had wings as a replacement, she did not.*
"You look as if you don't favor this cold climate." He pointed out stoping just to her side. "Perhaps I can suggest about standing under one of my wings to ward off teh breeze? That is if it won't offend anyone of course." He said hopig not to anger someone who was close to the mare, her bond mayhap.

Chaser smiled at him as she tried to cover her laughter as she shook her head"Offend anyone?Please I don't belong to anyone dear Shihab I guess I am a lone mare!"She gave a huge burst of laughter as she took her place next to him as she gave a soft giggle and a wisper"Me with someone!"
Chaser shuffled her pink hooves as she felt the cold air knock aginst her fur.She wasn't the first one to jump into the snow she wasn't sure why.Her attention turned back to him as she gave a warm smile as she looked down at her pink hooves with a smile"I never knew how pink my hooves were...dosen't that make me look stupid!"She gave another chuckle but this time it was soft and elegant
Her crystal blue eyes searched the horizon as the sun went down it was still up slightly but nothing close to a sunset yet her eyes smiled since she thought she had smiled enough her mane blew with the wind slightly as she flicked her ear to keep it in place her mane swayed skittering against her kneck"So how long have you been her Shihab?"

*Shihab folded his wing down over Chaser's back like a feathery blanket befor looking off toward teh setting sun. He barely heard what she had said about her hooves, to him then looked like seastones. Polished under the ever shifting tides to make them all smooth and shinny, but her could never bring himself to say such flattery to the mare. Perhaps after he knew her better then just this simple passing.*
"I haven't been here that long, long enough to see things and move on to try and find the place where I belong." He stated turning his gaze toward Chaser, watching the reflection of the setting sun within her glittering eyes, yt another flattery comment he couldn't bring himself to announce. "What about you?" he asked soon turning his gaze away from her.

Chaser watched him with a slight giggle in her tone as she felt the warmth fall on her back she shiffted again slightly he reminded her of her friend Lunaris who had kids!What a lucky stallion he was she then thought."How long have I been here?I suppose about a year or so...I have lost track of my days here"She looked towards the sun"So Shihab I was wondering...how did you get your name?"
What an odd question to ask as she threw her head back a bit to get her flower in place.it was the most precious thing she had.Her mother bestoed it upon her befor she was left to 'fend for herself when she was older.Her mother always told her when she was little a flower can tell a story.Chaser almost felt tears come to her eyes but she kept them back as she too looked away from him...this was akwerd

*The questiong threw Shihab for a loop, where had he gotten his name? That was something he had never expected to be asked and something he had never really thought about. Looking toward the sky searching for the stars that were to be revealing themselves soon.*
"That is something that I was asked before." He chuckled looking back toward Chaser. "But I suppose one could say that I was born in the time of the shooting stars. For that is what my name means, Shooting Star." He said noding.

Chaser looked back at him with a bit of a smile as she felt the warmth flood her she gave a small chuckle"Thas is an amazing story Shihab!"She gave another smile as she looked away.
She watched as the sky became darker as his fur she looked at him his fur was a quite amazing look.She watched the sky"Man you do look like the sky a lot..."She watched him
