Hello, all! i just wanted this to be like an Everyday/OOC RP where musicians (or people who know alot about music, yet don't play an instument, but pretend to often) can just hang out and talk about music stuff. My only rule is that you (or your charachter) must play an instrument (vocals DO count cool ), and must state their instrument upon entering the hang out ^.^
NOW, the area of the hang out I was imagining, was like a little lounge (with snack/drink bar in the back) There are chairs and tables stationed everywhere (all though there's no particular place or pattern to any of them, I thought I'd leave that to YOUR imagining ^.^) in the lounge *very comfortable I might add*.
PLEASE, have a good time ^.^ and play nice now!

My instrument is electric/acoustic violin (not a charachter)
Rachael walks into the hang out and finds a place to sit. A relevied sigh escapes her lips. "Wow... I just got thru with a fun christmas concert! I had gone in my room and set up my amp in front of my window, plugged in my violin to my multi-effects stomp box, hooked that up to my amp, and played almost every single peice there was to play in my two Christmas Kaleidoscope books.... >< it seemed WAY to short tho... I had to go back and repeat a BUNCH of the shorter songs xD. But it was fun... I don't think ANYBODY heard it, but I enjoyed playing for an anonomous audience."

My instrument is Flute and I sing. Keiko opens the door and walks inside. She remembers that her CDs were destroyed yesterday and then looks around for a computer, closing the door as she went on. Not seeing a computer, Keiko looks at Rachael. "Where's a computer? I keep forgetting if there's one here. I need new copies of my CDs." She says. "And also, have you seen a flute? I've got a band concert tonight and I can't miss it" Keiko looks around for a moment, then just stands there, dumbfoundedly confused because of nothing.

"Yes, there's a few back there," She points to a cyber cafe like thing "Knock yourself out! As for a flute... I shall be with you in a moment." She dissapears into a back room for a few minutes..... When she comes back out, she has a small leather covered box in her hand. She sets it down on a counter, opens it and reveals the three parts of a flute laying in it's blue felt lining. "Would this work?"

Rachael nods "Commin right up, hun." She turns around to the coffee brewer, grabs a mug, and pours some coffe, walked over to Zane and placed the coffe in front of him "There you are!, and I'll have the steak right out for ya!'
Rachael brings out a steak on a plate with a fork and a knife *and a spoon, just in case*. "There you are, and if you need anything for your coffee, the condement bar is right over there."

"thank you." zane picked up the fork and knife and started to eat, once and awhile drinking his coffie. after he was finished, he took out his electrike guitar and started to strum it softly, to a random song that poped into his head.

I play tenor saxophone, acoustic guitar, penny whistle, piano, and I also sing.
Poupei walks in humming 'Sally Gardens' to herself. She holds a penny whistle in her hand and sits by herself. She looks around to an empty room and begins to play. The once silenced air fills with the sound of Celtic beauty. Poupei closes her eyes as she lets the music engulf her.

Not wanting to disturb the new musician playing a BEAUTIFUL Gailic melody, Rachael wrote a small welcome message on a scrap of paper from her note-pad and sliped it on the occupied table. It read--
Welcome! I'm Rachael, and if you need anything, just let me know, I'll be glad to help.

OOC: I play flute, violin, and oboe.
Angie was walking down the sidewalk, listening to her iPod and humming along to the song that was playing. She wasn't paying too close attention to where she was going but when she did, she realized she had never been to this part of town. Her heart rate sped up slightly as she started to panic. 'Great! Where am I?' It really didn't help that she moved to this town only a few days ago.
As Angie looked around she spotted a sign for a local hangout for musicians. 'Maybe... just maybe... my "getting lost" was a stroke of fate.' She pushed open the door and walked inside. It wasn't too crowded but it wasn't exactly empty; just the way she liked it. She took out her headphones and approached the counter, unsure of what to do in a place like this.

Rachael walked up to her newest addition to the popuation of her lounge. "Welcome. I'm rachael, if you need anything, I'm right behind the counter! Don't forget to have fun, that's our only rule here!"

"Um... okay?" Angie pocketed her iPod and took a seat on the couch on the far side of the room. She took off her messenger bag and dug through its contents, pulling out a few pages a sheet music. These pages were a solo she was going to play at a competition. She set them on the table in front of her and pulled out a pencil. After looking over the first sheet she made a few marks on it and moved on the next one.
