Here is a thread for writers and readers of GW fanfiction to exchange ideas and challenges. I mentioned before that I am always looking for new, interesting ideas, and there are so many creative people who don't have the patience to sit down and write. So here is a little outlet for those of us to cooperate.

Ooh!! Ooh!!! I have one!!! My attention span and plot bunnies don't like me. Can somebody write me a fic set in the time when Solo was still alive and in charge of the gang around holiday times involving some kind stranger that can't take them in but help them out in some way. Please!! Please!! *begs with large puppy dog eyes* This was an idea that popped up in my head when the contest first popped up and I couldn't get very far with it.

That's a cool idea. I had started writing a Gundam Wing Fic, but then I got lazy, and the ideas started to run out.

A fanfiction subforum is a good idea!
I also don't know enough about Solo. I'd have to have a sense of his character to write about him. If someone wants to fill me in or direct me to a link, maybe I can take a shot at it.

Does anybody besides me like (non-yaoi) alternate pairings? If so, or even if not, I challenge someone to write an alternate pairing romance one-shot, without character deaths or betrayals, and keeping everyone in character. whee

Alternate pairings? I like 4xD but I'm not sure if that counts as alternate. I did write a fic that features them in character. Not sure if there's betrayal in it because she hated him in the first place. Again, I am stumped.
I got an idea for a short one shot Gundam Wing piece. It's called 'Invincible' and it highlights Quatre's thoughts before the time he has to use the Zero system of his own will. I have the last line, but I can't figure out how to get to that point.
"And with that thought, Quatre quickly and carefully typed out 'Zero.'"
That's the last line, and I can't figure out how to get to that point. x.x Help?

Well, I can't say too much without writing the fic for you. But reflection fics tend to be a little boring. If you want to go over his thoughts, have them revealed in a discussion. That's always more interesting! Who he's speaking with is up to you! That way you can throw in a little body language and action.

I'll think about it. This is going to be different for me, because I've mainly stuck with the Sailor Moon fandom of writing, so needless to say, it's going to be interesting for me and the woman who judges the Fanfiction contest at the regular Anime Convention I go to. She's only seen Sailor Moon work from me.
And I wasn't asking anyone to write it. I much prefer to write my own stuff. I'm just too much of a perfectionist.

It just breaks my mind a little. I get where people get the pairing from, but ow!

I dunno. I adore 4xD... Love/Hate and all that jazz... I'm thinking of holding a contest monthly with one couple as the theme for each month. Problem is, we need funds! I'm selling my undies as we speak. Highest Bid: 10k sweatdrop
