OMG.

The Rasmus = GOD.
<3

I got both their first and second CDs when I went to New York this November, but I never got the chance to listen to the second one until a couple of nights ago.

It. Is. AWESOME!
It hasn't come out of the CD player yet!!

I heard from my ex that they came out around the same time T.a.T.u. became big and had one hit song. After that everyone forgot about them.
;_;

I never even knew their hit song (titled "In the Shadows"), until my ex played it for me over his place.
It was love at first sight listen.
<3

Plus, it's really easy to sing along with, despite them all being guys singing.
>w<

Oh!
I have one of their songs in my MySpace profile.
www.myspace.com/andreaavino

I will be posting their lyrics in this thread.

You know who else I discovered that was really awesome?
A band called "Flyleaf."

I was at the Hard Rock Cafe, with my parents and friend, when their video for their song "Fully Alive" came on.
I fell in love and decided to buy their CD.

Now I didn't realize they were so new.
(2005)

However, they only have one CD and that one CD totally rocks!
If you like female vocals, stick with them.
Flyleaf is great!

I love this song!
It's super fun to sing, and I love the phrase "perfect in weakness"!

I claim it.
>w<
~*~

Flyleaf - "Perfect"

Sick of circling the same road
Sick of bearing the guilt
So open the windows to cool off
And heat pours in instead

Perfect in weakness
I'm only perfect in just your strength alone

All my efforts to clean me
Leave me putrid and filthy
And how can you look at me
When I can't stand myself

I'm tired to be honest
I'm nobody

Perfect in weakness
I'm only perfect in just your strength alone

Perfect in weakness
I'm only running in just your strength alone

I tried to kill you
You tried to save me

You save me
You save me
You save me
You save me

Perfect in weakness
I'm only perfect in just your strength alone

Perfect in weakness
I'm only running in just your strength alone

~*~
How I really feel.
Past all the smiles......
~*~

The Rasmus - "Heart Of Misery"

I don't want to feel anything today
(I don't want to feel anything today)
Anything at all and just be alone
(I just want to know that you want to know)
I don't want to live through another day
(I don't want to live through another day)
Meaningless to fight for the victory
I just want to dive in the heart of misery

One love, One life
Locked me in the heart of misery
One loss, one fight
Locked me in the heart of misery

I will never be anything again
(I will never be anything again)
I'm tired to give, I don't want to try
(I'm afraid to live, I'm afraid to die)
I just want to fly, throw it all away
(I just want to fly, throw it all away)
Meaningless to fight for your sympathy
I just want to drown in the heart of misery

One love, One life
Locked me in the heart of misery
One loss, one fight
Locked me in the heart of misery

One man forgot to breathe
One heart refused to beat
One love is incomplete

One loss, one fight
Locked me in the heart of misery
One loss, one fight
Locked me in the heart of misery

One love, One life
Locked me in the heart of misery
One loss, One fight
Locked me in the heart of misery

Ah ah, ah ah
In the heart of misery
Ah ah, ah ah
In the heart of misery

Music is my life <3....You always have nice ideas Avino biggrin

Here is one I like a lot ^^

TOOL - VICARIOUS

Eye on the TV
'cause tragedy thrills me
Whatever flavour
It happens to be like;
Killed by the husband
Drowned by the ocean
Shot by his own son
She used the poison in his tea
And kissed him goodbye
That's my kinda story
It's no fun 'til someone dies

Don't look at me like
I am a monster
Frown out your one face
But with the other
Stare like a junkie
Into the TV
Stare like a zombie
While the mother
Holds her child
Watches him die
Hands to the sky crying
Why, oh why?
'cause I need to watch things die
From a distance

Vicariously I, live while the whole world dies
You all need it too, don't lie

Why can't we just admit it?
Why can't we just admit it?

We won't give pause until the blood is flowing
Neither the brave nor bold
The writers of stories sold
We won't give pause until the blood is flowing

I need to watch things die
From a good safe distance

Vicariously I, live while the whole world dies
You all feel the same so
Why can't we just admit it?

Blood like rain come down
Drawn on grave and ground

Part vampire
Part warrior
Carnivore and voyeur
Stare at the transmittal
Sing to the death rattle

La, la, la, la, la, la, la-lie

Credulous at best your desire to believe in
Angels in the hearts of men
Pull your head on out
Your head believes it give a listen
Shouldn't have to say it all again
The universe is hostile
So impersonal
Devour to survive, so it is
So it's always been

We all feed on tragedy
It's like blood to a vampire

Vicariously I, live while the whole world dies
Much better you than I

And as for the band, I love Tool!
They are really awesome.
I'm missing one CD from them, if I remember correctly.

However, I haven't heard that song before.
Looks like I'll be downloading it soon enough!

Awwwe~!
You're making me blush!
>w<

I'm always nice to people, especially if they deserve it.
<3333

Only rarely do I not like a large group of people.
An example of that would be school, cause a lot of the people in there were very cruel to me.
;_;

But Tool really is something else!
XD

I remember the first time I heard them on the radio, and I was all like, "OMG! What an awesome band! I need to hear more!"

You know, they did a great cover of an older song.
"No Quarter" it's called, you should see how they do it.
A.W.E.S.O.M.E.
<33

They also do great live stuff!
I went on a downloading spree, and I got a song called "You Lied".
At the time I didn't know it was done live.

OMG!
The instruments is what makes this (there aren't a lot of lyrics in the song) and both the acoustic and base guitars really were out of this world.
>w<

That's just my opinion though!
Hopefully you like it too!
=3

Any other artists/songs you like, Anip?

You guys always seem to pass through a lot in school (you guys being american people), happily portuguese schools and high schools are in that way a lot better since everyone gets along with everyone, in colleges though the bigger problem is different, no one cares and if you miss a class there's no need to ask what it was about since no one will tell you the truth, hoping they'll get better grades than you and make you study other stuff... I'm not in college yet but most of my friends are...

I never had the chance to see them live, they were here on november if I'm not mistaken but I wasn't able to go... D':

"No quarter" is indeed awesome biggrin though I don't remember listening to "you lied" I'll have to check it out ^^

Well currently I also listen a lot to Stone Sour and Trivium liking most of their songs <333, I have this thing that makes me hear the same albums over and over again for some time, and eventually remembering other albums and begining the cicle xDD

Oi!
You're colleges sound so evil.
O.o;;

I'm starting college soon myself, and I really hope it's nothing like I just read.
:'D

I didn't actually see Tool live (I would love to see them live. <3), I just downloaded their song (semi-illegally) and it so happened to be a live version.

I wonder if it's from the missing CD I don't have?
Either way, if you ever find it, live or not, definitely listen to it.
>w<

Ooo!
I never heard of those other two bands before.
: o

What to they sound like?
Similar to Tool? Completely wacky?
XD

I don't think all colleges are like that, but yeah it creeped me out when they told me to ><

Well I'd say if you like tool you'll like trivum, but stone sour is a little different... being the singer Corey Taylor from slipknot... though I like tool, stone sour and slipknot also stone sour is not as "heavy" as slipknot, so I think you'll like it to ^^

Ahh great!
I'll see if I can download some songs by them before I get the CDs.
I'm sure I'll like it, and I trust your judgement.
>w<

And I have to thank you so much, Anip!!!!!!!
<333333

I went to the mall with my dad, and I go into the CD store.
Lo and behold!
A Tool CD that I always thought was a DVD in a CD case!
XD

An the first song I read on there?
"Vicarious"!!
<333

OMG!!!
I LOVE you!
That song IS awesome, just like you said!

::Squee~!::
