A young man stood before the gates of Hameln, his journey through the Crossroads was long behind him. His face is expressionless, unreadable, save perhaps for one emotion: Exhaustion. Weary lines creased his forehead, dark circles hung from his eyes, his shoulders slumped forward despite the vain attempt of keeping himself upright. His left hand gripped a draw-string pack that was once filled with food while his right clutched a pillow.
"This has better be the right place." He muttered to himself and slung the bag over his shoulder as he stepped in.
Flerida soared through the sky, enjoying how the wind whipped her hair out of her face. Her wings had grown stronger over the course of a few weeks, and while she was still wary of the forest surrounding the little village, she was more confident in the skies. She laughed and flew in a spiral, tucking her wings to allow her to take a sudden nose dive before spreading them out once again in time to glide back into the air.
If only someone could see her now.
Her wish was granted when she noticed a new comer enter Hameln.

Q'pid was leaning against a fence, smoking a cigarette when she saw him. It'd been a long time since they'd actually spoken in person, in fact, she hadn't seen Keen since she returned to Hameln, to return a favor to Fable and Piper. So when she'd heard he needed a place to stay, she'd told him to stop by, and that someone would take him in. She wasn't sure whom at this point, but fate had never stolen from her before.
She'd actually brought someone with her, Ravji. The poor boy had grown to a rather handsome teenager during the spider attack, and was getting used to his new form, and hormones. As a Cupid, 'Pid was definately qualified to counsel him.
Ravji's purple/silver eyes noticed the man approaching, and he walked toward him, smile warm as he reached to take the man's things.
"Welcome to Hameln! You'll be taken care of here, my friend."

A relieved smile graces the man's lips as he hands his bag over to the multi-limbed teenager. However, he refuses to relinquish his hold on the pillow, and while his grip looks slack it would seem almost impossible for Ravji to pry the pillow loose.
"Thank the gods I'm at the right place!" he cheers, holding the pillow to his bare chest. "Hey 'Pid, you're looking..." he pauses to search for the right word, "Old. Like me. And tired. Like me." Joaquin was never the most tactful of people, even while journeying through the Crossroads the only thing that saved him from certain doom was his strength.
Flerida landed quietly a short distance away from the trio, talons digging into the soil -her tell-tale sign of nervousness. She wasn't comfortable flying anymore, it was one thing to have friends and acquaintances watching but complete strangers made her uneasy. Especially more than one at a time.
She silently hid behind some trees, folding her wings back and hoping to avoid detection. The multi-limbed teenager was oddly familiar, especially with that one obsidian hand. The only other person Riddy knew had that trait was Ravji, but she hadn't seen him since that time in the forest.
