Am gonna get another DS and i was wondering what is tag mode and does it require single game pack or muti?

Have you tried it? cuz tag normally meaning 2 people in the same place and in the same team so it should be 1 town and 2 characters....

yeah, one person per town can go on at once
so you need at least 2 towns

Tag deals with bottled letters I do belive. WiFi is more like your friend is visiting your house 'n' stuff.
