I get wierd visions when I get too close to trees, or touch them for too long. They're hard to make, cause it's like... seeing without seeing.
I'm wondering if I'm seeing things the way a tree does.
What do you guys think it could be?

Yes, please explain it better. Maybe you have something where when you touch an object you see the past of that object. Has that happened to you before by touching another object?

Its very possible you could be seeing or atleast feeling what the tree is seeing. Or saying.
Trees have forever been seen as wise and even have taken the place as guides or guardians in many areas. Trees are very alive, despite the fact that they aren't like animals, they still have their stories. And in many cases elementals (nature spirits) will be incorporated in or with them.

That remind me of Celtic Practioners and perhaps Norse too.

Gotta have some trust in your outside environment sometimes. Or else, you are just literally, selfish.

Very true, if we don't show our appriciation for the enviroment, well then the results could be unpleasent to say the least...
And OniPuc, your discription is rather vauge, but I understand not being able to explain strange experiances... my advice is to you is to test this ability out, experiment and work with it... It may very well tell you what exactly is going on on it's own with practice of corse... Any more information you could give would be a big help in explaining it any further.

Your attuned to the tree's life. As in is spirit. And you will find out that trees have a wide range of interesting personalities. Go touch a beech tree, then touch a cypress. Or even better, if you could make direct contact with the heartwood, you would have a pleasurable sensation. Well, if it was a Yew, you would.

Trees have long been revered as spiritual guides and wise beings. Try meditating amidst trees, or one specific tree, if this newfound experience has made you a little timid. Start out with a short period of time, then gradually increase. The more you do this, the more you will notice! Try to tune in to the different personalities and feelings you get when around different trees once you get the hang of it~
