We have two of these, but it doesn't really matter *shrugs*
(Not really discussion points, just stuff I noted whilst watching it. I wasn't really paying attention at the beginning, and was too tired to make many points at the end.)
-Rhys's sudden anger (I reckon Gwen kind of deserves it really)
-Yeh, Owen really loves work
-Crazy Frog (Maybe they set the weevil on him because of his choice in ringtones?)
-Yay! We get more Tosh and Ianto this week. Finally. (And less Gwen. More Yay!)
-Haha Owen, you kind of deserved being left on the pavement
-It's that book reading thingy again
-They certainly go into alot of detail which making cover stories
-Jack and Ianto really do everything together now days. Just like a married couple xd
-Do you reckon the 'Something is coming' speech is what they are told to say when they audition? And if they do it really well they get to do it in an episode?
-*Everything Changes Flashback*
-I think Jack has a thing about suicide. That's too weeks in a row.
-Grapes? Grapes? Where's the bananas?
-Weevil's greatest fear = Teeth
Next Episode: He meets himself? That will be interesting.

Vampyric Kakashi I found it to be quite a good episode, lots of action. A Few points you may wish to add to biggrin -That opening thing, the little addition to it with the plane 3nodding -That Jerk in the bar? Why are men so protective of their girlfriends, they can't even have friends! -Owen getting in a fight. -Gwen telling Rhys about Owen, and his reaction! And later Gwens emotions towards it. SPOILER!: (I wonder why the thing happens to him later rolleyes )-Jack letting them do that to the Weevils! -Owen being nosy and meeting the weevil, and getting caught. -Owen could have had sex with that man! - More references to the Darkness? (QUOTE: "Start looking in to the Darkest Reccesses of your soul") -MEAN-NESS TO THE WEEVILS! -They showed the living computer, although it looked more like a projection. It looks plant based, TARDIS like biggrin -Gwen knows how to use a computer! And possibly trace a license plate, or maybe it was a phone call? (I was just told as I was typing it that it was a postcode, something you could use google earth for rolleyes ) -Jack letting the Weevil kill the dude (right on him!) -Owen wanting to kill himself! -Once again, the stupidity of humans (well, the once again more links to the Christmas Invasion 3nodding ) -Finally, POOR POOR WEEVILS crying One thing I thought about this though, before watching it, I thought it might be a bit like the Fight Club thing. I have never watched Fight club, but I know the first rule of Fight club is, Dont talk about Fight Club. I think the second rule is the same also. I was typing this up as the episode ran through, I started about half way, and I have a bad memory, so sorry if I missed a lot of vital things out! I tried to get as much info as possible included in case anyone missed too much biggrin What happens next time - PARADOX!

And note! THE BASTARDS AT THE BBC HAVE NOT PUT ANY EPISODES ON NEXT WEEK!
My friend told me the TV Guide does not have it listed, and I checked and mine doesnt either. Tommorow I can check the BBC3 website to see if it is true, and also go forward to next Sunday on my Sky+ box biggrin

News about next episode: Just saw an ad for it , Double episode New Years Day 9.30-11.10 (I'm guessing, it only gave the start time.)
Looks good. I saw a flash of Lisa (non-cyberised) and someone bleeding.

I thought it was an okay episode. I loved all the Jack/Ianto time! Ianto definitely needs to be a more active member of the team. Less Gwen is always good, too. And was I the only one waiting for something to happen with Owen and that guy? I swear there was a vibe. lol
Can't wait until the next episode! I'll have to watch the preview again because it went too fast. Is it supposed to be younger Jack or are they saying Jack Harkness isn't his real name? oi. And Ianto all frantic to get him back! Awesome. biggrin
Oh wait, two episodes next week? eep. It's over so fast!!

I cannot wait, and it wont be long until I can get Torchwood on DVD >.<
Pyrojaden, Ianto isnt really a member of the team, he is the cleanup guy, the intern, the receptionist, the one who gets the coffee biggrin
I thought something was going to happen between Owen and the dude too, but jack killed him D:
I think that the Jack in the preview IS NOT the real Harkness, I mean, he looks NOTHING like what Jack looked like then! We saw Jack in Doctor Who at a ball type thing, or more of a rest place for the soldiers (what was he doing on the home front anyway?)
Other theories include Jack isnt Jack's real name. Those two years of memory he lost? Maybe his name was altered 3nodding

Anyway, about it being over so fast. We get Sarah Jane Adventures (need a new sub-board!) on the same day that Torchwood finishes, that should run until/close to the Start of Doctor Who. A few months after Doctor Who finishes we get new Torchwood biggrin

Yeh, I kind of thought there was something between Owen and the Guy too, and then he died. Owen isn't having much luck really, is he?
The two Jack's things is really confusing. My dad reckons that Jack just used that name as his own when he went back in time. I dunno. It's all confusing.

I don't know...I still consider Ianto a member of the team. Jack introduced him as such. smile I guess he just doesn't have a specialty that requires him to do a lot of field work (like Owen or Gwen), but it's nice to see him get out of the Hub sometimes.
The thing I don't get about Captain Jack possibly not being his real name...then why does he always use it? hmm.

I really thought Owen was going to have sex with that guy.
But then I thought, 'No. Owen probably has better taste.'
I mean, hello? Were you not thinking, 'HAI, DANNY FROM GREASE!'? I was, in any case. o___o And his eyebrows. WHAT was going on there. But then again, Owen was way suicidal. I guess that means that despite having a degraded self-esteem, and therefore being more likely to have sex with a weird-looking guy, he was too suicidal to actually do it.
Which is totally not Owenish. Sounds like Elvish, but... Yeah. Slightly more vulgar?
Next point: There was like, no Janto. Sure, there was slightly more Ianto, and sure Jack was in it, and sure they were in it together, but that doesn't make it Janto. =/ It just means that their screen-time collided. I'm not sure about Ianto becoming more part of the team. I keep thinking, 'that boy is gonna die, 'cause he is not cut out for the whole guns and fighting crap'. I don't want Ianto to die. sad
Hm, another point. WEEVILS, OMG! crying I feel so bad for them!
But I think Owen's trying to find a new identity for himself, one that he can actually say, 'yes I like being this guy', and actually believe it's true and that's him. So whether he's experimenting or not, I don't have a clue, but I think he likes this new identiy as like... A weevil master or something.
I think that rage of his is going to become less and less well-hidden. In fact, it is going to GROW. A LOT.
I don't think Jack handled the situation appropriately. Dx I know their job is demanding, but he should have given Owen some time off. He's not sensitive enough, but that's why he needs Ianto. I admire his actor SO much for episode four (was it four? Cyberwoman?). Gawd, I would never be able to show so much emotion. Plus, he's hot. xD Anyway, but the point is that Ianto provides Jack with the emotion he needs to feel.
Rant over. Feel free to ignore it, seeing as it was mainly for my benefit! =D

I dont know if you all know, but John Barrowman (Jack Harkness) is gay in real life and is preparing for/has a civil partnership/marraige with his gay partner biggrin Therefore he has no problem doing gay scenes.
I dont think Owen is the suicidal, or homocidal, or weevil mastering type. He is a complex character, so he is unravelling the most recently biggrin Jack gets some unravelling next whee
I think when Ianto saves Jack from the past, this will be when he kisses him biggrin There will DEFINATELY be JANTO next week, on monday, whether in episode twelve or thirteen biggrin
