Alrighty...I thought I'd post up some of my characters. I usually role-play with Zakura, but I may role-play with/create more characters as I get more active. Um...enjoy? xd ~Zakura-chan

Name: Zakura Urasaki
Gender: Female
Age: 1700 (Appears to be 17)
Physical Description: Small; 5' tall and about 100 lbs. She's got dirty-blonde hair that goes past her shoulders, and bright green eyes. She has fair-colored skin, and has a cute figure about her. While it's subtle and isn't noticeable until you are close, her skin is covered in scars.
Element: Ice
Natural Ability: Healing
Favored Time of Day: Night
Alignment: Good
Abilities: Zakura is a mage, meaning that she can use magic. Her natural ability of healing works mostly when she's near-death, and she doesn't use it unless she needs to. She uses it to help other people, too. She also has good control of ice, and can create it at any time. The former two abilities are the only ones she can use unless she has her staff, which she usually keeps magically hidden.
Personality: Zakura is a sweet person, but can get quite a temper if she's attacked. She's pretty nervous, especially when she's around someone she likes. She does everything with her best intentions, but tends to not think things through all the way, which has caused her many problems in the past. She's a good ally to have, as she loves to help out her friends in any way she can, and her ability to heal doesn't hurt.
Background/History: Zakura had a harsh past, and many near-death experiences. Growing up, her father was a half demon/half mage, and her mother was a mage. Her father hated Zakura, since she wasn't a boy to carry on the family's demonic side. Zakura had an older sister, Saneessa, who her father loved because it was his first child. Her mother loved Zakura, but the abuse she received from her husband for protecting her daughter gradually made her despise the younger sibling as well. Zakura was tortured and beaten in every way possible by her father in her youth, until one day when she was 700 years old, her father's summon, a demon, killed both him and Zakura's mother. Saneessa took care of Zakura, until Zakura was forced to kill her when she became cursed. What Zakura never found out was that the curse Saneessa carried had originally been on her, and Saneessa transfered it from her younger sister to herself in order to save her.
Later in her life, at age 1200, her village was going to force her to marry her best friend, Kazuki. Not wanting to marry someone who she didn't love, she ran away from the only place she knew of that had Mages, and has been traveling the world ever since.
Miscellaneous Information: Zakura has a summon (a creature she can summon up using her magic to fight for her), a dark black and purple dragon named Aznanaru. It took her all of her years in the Mage village to learn how to control it, and it's very powerful, however, she rarely summons him for fear that she'll lose control over him.
She also has a pet, Mint. Mint is one of the last few existing Elemenites, but only has a little control over his element, water. Mint is a small, white, fox-like creature that is about 8 inches long (Comparable to Wiz, from DNAngel). You can see a picture of Mint here, on my DeviantArt account.
