Rapier and Tiil would definately be pleased. Jem had convinced Dagger to convince Lian to watch the brats for a day while the adults had some serious discussion concerning The Company and D-corp. Whoop, whoop. The short and short of it was that the adults got to be free of their brats, and the children got to be free of their parental units.
Turner was the one dropping off Ai'shern, Altessa, Medusa and Azoc for Tiil and Kanth, and gave them a grinning thumbs up as she hooked arms with her ex-partner, Jem, who gave both Cleo and Tyven kisses goodbye.
"HAVE FUN, YA'LL."
VAROOM. THEY WERE OUT. Naturally, they were going to let the destruction occur at Dagger's place....
Tyven, blinking somewhat apathetically, had her hand in Cleo's, and immediantly pulled her over toward Altessa to say hello. And there was Ai'shern, the brother Cleo had mentioned. She didn't know him but... Cleo liked him. And Altessa was his sister. Approvingly, she ran lavender eyes over him, and flashed her teeth in a smile for Altessa.
"Hi."
She'd gotten bigger since they'd last seen each other.
Ai'shern on the other hand, wasn't exactly nervous, but he wasn't too sure about a large group of people. Especially so many women... At least he trusted Azoc, Altessa, and sort of Cleo, right.
"Hello."

Dagger was out shopping, are you kidding? Rakha was with her, dressed darkly and hooded. Only Daemon was left, lurking in the shadows of the house. Lian could feel him there, always, keeping the hair on his arms a little prickly.
...but all these KIDS. Lian wasn't used to so many of them! Azoc he knew would be there but the rest.... Did he know the rest? he didn't think so... Xiao was amused, behind him, strectched out as far as she could while she hovered, frame doing little twisting-motions all about. Fun... She mused, although none other could hear her (maybe Daemon could but he wasn't telling.)
"Hey," He called out, moving out of the doorway and raising a hand to the kids. "I'm Lian."
"Li-li!" Cleo called out, waving back to him befor eher attention turned to Altessa and Ai'shern. Her smile widened a little when she came face to face again with the baslisk, fingers wriggling and flexing in the air at him. "Hi, Ai'shern! An' Alt an' Dusa! Oooh! An' Azoc! Hi Azoc!"
Lobster girl got a wave too. She knew them ALL!

Azoc was glad that Tiil had decided that yes, this WAS okay, so she could be free without him looming over and testing out her new abilities! She waved happily at Lian and Cleo, smiling with a kind of mischevious leer.
Medusa, however, was eyeing Cleo and her colors, and bounded up to her with her grey eyes wide. "Ooooh, you're pretty!" And she reached out to feel a few feathers.
Alt could have smacked her head. Well, she did, because she knew that Medusa shocked whatever she touched. And she was rather miffed at the fact that everyone was here, and she didn't much like crowds. But at least she knew most of them.
Waving to Ai'shern, Altessa walked over to him so she could stand right beside him. It was true she was a lot calmer around him, which was extraordinary; so far he and Jett were the only two that she trusted completely.

Tyven, a little wounded by the fact that Altessa hadn't said a word in response or greeting to her, stiffened, and tugged Cleo a bit away from Medusa's reaching grasp, not liking that a girl she didn't know was trying to feel up her sister's feathers. Those could be easily torn out! Still, she actually turned her head to acknowledge Lian and... PURPLE DRAGON. Yanking her sister with her, she steadily approached the front door, and entered, blinking up at Xiao, clearly enthralled.
"Beautiful!"
So, Tyven liked dragons, and she liked purple. Win-win.
Ai, although affectionate toward his more volitile sister, wanted to follow the pretty bird, Cleo, whom had been impressed by his rock-eating, and had two people in her. Lala-Cleo and Serious-Cleo. He liked them both. Shooting Altessa a quick, questioning look, he touched her elbow before following the two sisters.

It took Xiao a moment to realize the little child was speaking to HER. Well, she wasnt fluffy but she had good color coordination and she was complimenting her. The dragon rolled a bit, head dipping to sniff at Tyven cautiously.
Lian grinned a little, hand moving to pet along the scales of Xiaos sides. It made her purr and her jaw fell open slightly, one indigo head moving to rest atop Tyvens tentatively.
The goldcrest, being tugged this way and that, squeaked and giggled as she latched onto her sister. When Xiao came closer, the bird leaned back, bumping Ai' with her wings.
"'Hink sh'likes y', Tyvie." She giggled, head craning to the side to peer at Ai'shern. "Ea' any pre'y rocks t'day?" If Tyven wasn't there, she could've been herself. But Tyven was there. Tyven couldn't know; just couldn't, was all.
"We shoul'go look f'r rocks la'er!" Her eyes brightened a little, peeking at Ai'shern once more. "Or..uh..."
"Aren't many rocks here," Lian interrupted, voice amused at the others, "And yes, she does like you. Don't you guys want to play a game or anything? A tour..anything?"

Noting the look Ai'shern gave her, Altessa let him go and moved over to Tyven, her face stoic.
"You grew." She murmured softly, and approvingly, reaching up to flick Tyven's nose gently. Far too gently than before. Having Ai'shern around certainly changed her.
"Rocks? I can eat rocks." Medusa brightened, wanting to be the center of attention with all these people. After all, she was quite a spectacle to stare at!
Azoc smiled at Ai'shern; she hadn't gotten to know him that well, but he had resided in the same household once before. Raising a claw, she snapped it in Ai'shern's direction.

Ai'shern was puzzled as to why Cleo was talking the way she was, when he'd heard her say simliar words just fine. Instead of commenting, he just frowned, until he noticed Altessa's attention to the purple girl, and smiled approvingly. The boy seemed the only one paying attention to Medusa, and smiled wider, looking at her see-through belly and nodding.
"I bet it looks a lot cooler too."
Now his fingertips were raised in greeting to Azoc, who he thought was rather... Pretty. And smart.
Tyven raised an eyebrow at Altessa not quite understanding the change, and reached up to stroke Xiao, still wanting the dragon's support. It obviously liked her, which made her feel good, since it's jaw was resting atop her purple hair.
"We should fight 'gain, now that I'm bigger."

Cleo went silent as attention went elsewhere. The last looks and words she had recieved hadn't been filled with amusement or anything either. It had been confusion and slight distaste. She didn't like that. She didn't like her sister hating her either, though.
"Yer lot bigger," She murmured, on the sideline, little eyebrows furrowing together tightly. Tyven was released and Ai' wasn't approached again, the goldcrest slowly edging herself away from her sister and the small cloud of children they had found themselves in.
Lian, exhasperated with the lack of attention his words brought, folded him arms and nearly pouted down at the children. They werent listening! HE was the babysitter! Him! And... kind of Daemon.
Speaking of Daemon, the creature morphed behind him, in the darker parts of the house. He was still visible to the children, hair down to the floor and dark as death, same with his muscular frame and sharp, shining teeth. "They're hardly old enough to touch."
"No touching, you perverted shadow creature." His tail flicked sharply and the babysitter twisted, hand waving roughly at the other man. The shadow laughed and melted back, but not before Xiao shuddered, her muscles rolling like a wave. She didn't like that stupid shadow thing. Stupid.
Tyven, however, got her hair nibbled experimentally before the dragon chortled in her agreement. This one was fun! And the one beside her was.Interesting.

Azoc smiled furthermore, sitting down and watching things progress. She was happy staying out of the whole situation, thank you very much.
Medusa, however, was one for the spotlight, and beamed when Ai'shern commented on her, her hands going up to her cheeks as she let out a soft sound. "Thanks!" Though she really had nothing to thank the other for.
"We should." Altessa murmured softly, a smirk gracing her face. "I need to get back into it... I've been slacking lately." Her fingers curled as she reached up to brush her bangs from her face, an annoyed sound leaving her throat. She missed that barrette.
