Anyone else here watch Venture Brothers on Cartoon Network and catch all the David Bowie references the show makes?

In one episode, part of the story was the bad guy had won a panda off of Bowie in a card game.
Another had characters called Major Tom, who was in a rocket ship called TVC 15, and there was the Action Man.
Action Man has actually shown up in two episodes.

I watched last week's episode eagering awaiting my weekly Bowie reference, but alas there was none. At least there was a reference to Lydia Lunch though.

Anyways...

I love The Venture Bros.! All the Bowie references are fantastic!

I also liked the Depeche Mode reference in the yard sale episode:
Dr. Girlfriend: Oh my god, is that the guy from Depeche Mode?
Monarch: What? No, it can't be. He's with a girl.

It's funny for an American cartoon. Much better than I thought it would be.

Yeah that was great. But I don't think I will get over how much I laughed at the villain Magic 8 Ball. "Do you think he is going to kill us?" -Magic 8 Ball shakes himself up- "OUTLOOK GOOD".
I have a thing for magic 8 balls. I even bought the date ball version so I would have them all. The digital magic 8 ball keychain is fun to drive people crazy with when the sound is on. Anyway.

I always miss the one with the mentioning of the card game... It's like on those days I forget to tune in til the ending... and when I see the panada in the car I just have to scream in irritation cause I missed the card game quote.

Gotta love it though...

mercenary: I have your panda..... Mr. Bowie.

Five mins of one episode of the A.B. was nothing but Bowie lyrics for dialogue. It was the Major Tom episode. I just remember when Major Tom died the Lt. was like "Ashes to Ashes" and he said it really dramatically. Yeah. Made me quite happy. heart
