The history of Bentshade is broken up into 6 time periods. Sayaid'o, D'atim, Augh'denu, Revixany, Kiyefoci and Tixorini.
Sayaid'o
During the time of Sayaid'o, the world was dark and nearly void of all life. Except for two small groups of beings. The Besysyti and the Zinon.
The Besysyti were peaceful beings who lived underground. In their caverns they had bioluminescent items they had forged from their mines that were deep within the earth near it's core. The elder Besystian's were the only ones capable of going so close to the core to refine the items and purify them. All other's would succumb to the heat and burst into ashes. They lived a long and prosperous life underneath the ground. Creating wares to sell in their markets and harvesting roots that grew through the walls of their larger agricultural caverns. They had no distinct leader, but were counseled by a group of much older Besysytian elders who had a high amount of magic energy. These elders were the oldest and most skilled in their crafts. They would listen to the people and give advice and opinions on the situation. To which the people could choose which way to go.
On the flip side. The Zinonai were dark, malevolent creatures that lived on the surface of the dead world.....
