So over the past few months I've refallen in love with Vampires.
((Not that I ever really stoped loving them))
So I've been reading a few Vampire books this year and I've read some good ones and I havn't really read any I didn't like.
Though I must say I don't like Anne Rice's writing style, which is a shame because I really love the movies Queen of the Damned and Interview with a Vampire. But I hate her writing style.
Then I've reading Twilight and New Moon, two awesome Vampire books.
Also Kissing Coffins 1-3, also amazing.
I've read a few of the Crique Du Freak series and I really like them, but the books are always checked out.
So yeah, if you know of any good Vampire books, let me know!

I tried reading the Crique Du Freak books, but I never really caught on.

But, if you your into like, a little romance and some action, theres a series of books that revolve around a Witch, Sorcerer, Shape-shifter, Warrior, Schoaler, and a Vampire, and they're going to take down that Queen of vampires. Its really good, if your willing to read through all three books.

Book 1 - Morrigan's Cross By Nora Roberts
Book 2 - Dance of the Gods By Nora Roberts
Book 3 (teh one about the vampire) - Valley of Scilence by Nora Roberts.

I wouldn't recomend you read these if your younger than 13. >>;;

Woo!
Books!
Of course I'd be willing to read through all three of 'em. I love reading! Plus I have nothing to do during winter break besides read, write, draw, and play on here.
Next time I go to the library, hopefully the day after Christmas, I'll see if they have them.
And then I shall read 'em!
Muhahahaaaa...

*sigh* Someone else who's read Twilight...
I've been trying to read it for, literally, months. I've had a hold on it at the school library for forever (ever since half way through marching seas... I mean football season... I mean autumn...) but all these freshmen had it on hold before me. I'm next in line for it, but the person who has it now has had it forever and I think she's getting late fines for it, too.
I stole it from my friend once and read a few chapters and it seems really good. But I don't like Washington. It's cold there.

Oh, and, uh... I can't really think of any good vampire books off the top of my head because up until the day I started reading Twilight, I was insanely afraid of vampires (now, I'm insanely afraid of snakes).

I did read this one book--I think it was called "Vampire High" or something like that-- and it was pretty good. It's about this human who ends up going to an all-vampire school because they need a swim team because the vampires can't swim. It's pretty good, if you like a really quick read. Really quick. Really, really quick. Really (etc.)

Scared of Vampires?
It's been my life dream to be a Vampire.
-sigh-
Anyways, I love Washington just because of all the rain.
And I saw that Vampire High book at my school. I thought about getting it, but I didn't know if it was good or not. Now that I know, I shall read it too!!

Now you're going to read it and think it sucks and then you'll think I'm dumb and then my brain will spontaneously implode, turn to jelly, and seep out of my right ear.

The sad thing is, my brain has spontaneously imploded about half a dozen times already this month. sweatdrop

I've wanted to be a vampire to. Not so surprising?

Vampire High? That sounds...interesting. If I go to a liberary sometime, I'll look around for it. But then again, I'm a lazy looker. ^^;;

What are they about?

I've read all of Amelia Atwater Rhodes' books besides one.
And I must say I love them.
Can't wait untill I get to read Wolfcry.
-nod-

And to Roisu Midnight Predator and Demon In My View are vampire books by Amelia Atwater Rhodes.
She has a few other vampire books and a series of shape shifters.
