The doors to the southern end of the arena suddenly creaked open as a slender figure made his way out into the pouring light of the high sun. Although the sun was out, the winter still caused the arena to be bitter cold. The air currents pushed through the man's long red locks causing them to dance merrily as he strolled towards the center of the arena.
His appearance was rather odd for his profession. Most people wouldn't find a shinobi wearing a pare of tight black jeans and a formal button up shirt; then again, most people didn't know Dante. His crimson shirt was worn loosely and rolled up at the sleeves to give him extra mobility. His pants, although tight and stopping some stretching in the crotchal region, wouldn't catch the wind when speed was a factor. His clothing made him look suave and worked for him as a fighter.
What a deadly combination!

The doors opposite the man opened, just a crack letting a small man step through. He was short, but thin, though muscles showed on his arms and torso, his thighs and calfs also having the defeniton required for a fighter. He wore tight black pants, a matching black vest. Belts covered his arms with black fingerless gloves upon his hands. The belts covered his arms, partally hiding a odd black tattoos that covered his arms and shoulders, even stretching down to his stomach. His hair was dark, spiking up in the back, but hanging down over his eyes in the front. He slowly walked out, his eyes, hidden by his hair on the man that had entered before him. (piccys i do have!   )

Dante's blood red orbs engulfed the man in a series of analyzing stares. The man had eyes like no other; they could pick out every little detail in a couple of moments. Hopefully this man will prove to be a more formitable foe.
He was absolutely still except for his tail, which was always in constant motion. " I'll make this fun," he mumbled beneath his breath as he looked dead forward at the man with rather malicious eyes.

Dante thought as he began to create handseals directly over his chest. His knees were bent slightly ready for any attempts of movement that may become needed. There was very little evidence of anything happening as the man created handseals required to channel chakra for a Jutsu technique. An extremely thin fog would seem to seep from the ground. The fog would be barely visible for the time being and probably missed by everyone.

Demion stood, staring at the man, taking in every motion. His eyebrows lifted faintly, head tilting to the side.
His leg pulled back slightly, body tilting so his side faced the man. His fingers curled, his knuckles callased and well used.

Hmph..Not wise!
A smug smirk arose on his rather handsome face as he ceased his handseals and forced his hands forward. The man simply allowed him the alloted time to channel his chakra and focus it into the earth to do a ninjutsu technique with ease.
The fog that had rolled into the arena lightly would begin to thicken to the point where it was difficult to see five feet in front of you. The ground would quickly lose density as muck seeped up through the stone to cover the sand entirely. Although it would be hard to catch by eye, the best evidence of the newly created surface would be the softness. Standing still, the man would find himself sinking about an inch per every five seconds. If you do your math correctly, that's 300 inches per minute or 25 feet per minute. So, basically she was in a makeshift quicksand pit made of ever engulfing mud. Not only would the mud engulf anything that stayed for too long, but it would cease any swift movement. As most would know, mud tends to slide under strong forces. If either of the men decided to sprint across the new muck floor they would find themself slipping to fall flat on their a**. Also, mud is well known to cause a suction affect on anything the pushes into it creating a vaccum just like a suction cup would. This had been the cause of many a missing shoe for those who have ever walked through the mud and got stuck in too deep.
The Ninjutsu technique was known as Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld. The swamp was truely a move that would give Dante a clear geographical advantage. Using a thin coating of chakra on his feet, he would evade the affects of the swamp allowing him to move as if on a normal hard surface.
With the man now sinking, Dante would sprint at about half speed to intersept the sinking man. His speed would allow him to cover the small twenty yard gap between him very quickly. He would reach the man in about two seconds. Upon reaching him, he would bring his right hand forward with a flat palm aimed to strike the man at an angle to the chin. Planting his left foot as he shot his hand upwards would give him enough applied force to push the head back far enough to the point where the neck would snap. Not to mention a red aura that would consume his hand from strong chakra consentration. This would give the palm strike added force and newly added heat able to give 2nd degree burns.
