It was a pity that Dramon had set himself in the center of the arena, for that location was a prime target for the entrance of The Avatar. The entrance of The Avatar is simple. As if from an orbiting pwn cannon, a beam of light and energy falls from the sky, tearing into the arena and filling the entire 300ft diameter expanse. The ground is torn to pieces and thrust up in a tumultuous arrangement of crags and upturned rocks with all the dust that had been covering the area turned to glass. The attack itself was massive, but being so spread out and carrying an Avatar to be deposited the destructive energies within are not as extreme as one may think. The main component is incredible heat and bright light, more than enough to give a serious sunburn and scour the hair from one's body immediately. When the light fades a single pinpoint remaine fifty feet directly above Dramon, the beating heart of a featureless man built of light and energy.

Any energy reflected back would simply be drawn into the barely physical form of the Avatar. The ability to see as per visible light in the electromagnetic sopectrum was granted through a manipulation of such light, reading reflections and changes. His main sight, however, was tracking energy concentrations, differentials, and flows, heat included therein. A hand slowly tilted towards Dramon and the palm split open to unleash a laser blast as per what one would expect from a laser rifle. If any flame was started the being would latch onto it and pull it away, supporting the flame by his will instead of any particular fuel.

Had the being facial features with with to convey an expresion he very well may have raised an eyebrow. Not many had ever simply consumed his opening volley without showing some sighs of impending doom. His focus seemed to change as wisps of jade ran through the crimson that dominated his form. Rather abruptly the light from the sun simply ceased in a wide area no less than three miles in diameter. The sun's rays would be otherwise occupied for the time being. Without the heat and light of the sun the temperature would begin dropping radically, but the speed at which it fell was now certainly supernatural.

As the being did not breathe or...well, do anything a living creature would do, the effect was ignored, if it was noticed at all. The energy field that constituted the being's outer shell really wasn't going to be affected by differntial charges or acidic mist. Such tactics might work against an opponent that had an actual body, maybe, but The Avatar was quite unique. A burst of light flashed through the area for but a brief moment before a beam of unique design crossed the distance between the two almost immediately. The beam was not light, nor was it heat or energy, but radiation. The area around the Avatar would quickly become irradiated as the pulsing beam sought to either rip apart the carbon construction at the molecular level or slip past through the interstitial spaces and rend flesh by means of horrible cascading mutations. Obviously it would seem this form of radiation went far beyond just making you puke.

((I said not light or heat, meaning that it wasn't based around the normal components for his beam style attacks. Also note I mentioned it would either break apart molecular bonds OR slip past them through the interstitial spaces between atoms and even subatomic particles.))

The explosion ripped past the form of the Avatar, tearing sections of the shell open from the pure concussive force of the blast. However, once the sections were open a combination of effects surged around the Avatar of the Dominion. First an explosive force would rip out from the Avatar's shell to release the energy contained within. Second, encountering the blast the energy would begin suffusing the destructive force and become overwhelmed. Lastly, the near impossible would occur, a type of osmossis occuring as the destructive force and energy released by the blast turned back and tried to enter the Avatar's form due to a lower concentration of heat and energy. His form would become the calm within the storm as new life pulsed from where his eyes should technically be located. The darkness quickly returned before another odd beam was fired at the dome with the intents of testing it, should it still exist.

When the small sphere detonated the Avatar's arm would simply not be there, nor would the Avatar even be within the radius itself. The Avatar would quickly begin moving around the arena as the utter darkness seemed to begin lifting. In his wake he left images of himself that were generated by an effect not of his own speed, but by force of will. The images did not remain stationary, but began to swarm around the Avatar. Soon a large number of 'Avatars' would be present around the northern reaches of the blast beaten arena, all of them giving off light just the same with an aura that was identical to the actual Avatar.
