"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."
In my opinion, it's pretty lame. It just is... I hope the book will be way better than the title.

im really sorry but the title reminds me of the manga/anime/viz what ever it is BLEACH
think the tritle is meant tokinda hint towards how dark the last book is gonna be.

Actually I think it's pretty lame too. It sounds like a ghost story or something, somehow less serious and mysterious and more Scooby-Doo.
Shame as I think the other books are well titled.

JK coulda thought of a better one.
It most proberly goes well with the book but its still a lame title.

Your opinion on the title:
Lame. I thought at first that it was "Deadly Hallows" which would have been cooler IMO razz
What does it mean?!?
What does "Hallow" mean?!?
Hallow (like in Halloween) is something sacred and holy (halloween is really "Holy eve": the day before All Saints Day)
I think the Deathly Hallows, sacred things filled with Death, must be the horcruxes &/or their hiding places.
Y'all seen the cover of the book yet? I'm not sure I like it either.

I like the title!
I think it has something to do with the veil.
I really think we are going to revisit that veil.
JKR has never given us such a mysterious object, and then not elaborated on it.
I believe we will be travelling into the veil! Some sort of gateway to the underworld, where possibly sirius's two-way mirror will work again. Even if it IS broken into pieces at the bottom of Harry's trunk!
I think this place, this crossroads, is what the title referes to.

My friend(who is also a super HP fan) and I think it has something to do with what lies ahead for Harry and how he has to find something of Ravenclaw's, her wand I think. I couldn't find an explainable definition for hallow but...yeah. smile

It wasnt specific.

It wasnt specific. I know, i was thinking exaclty that. In the movie, they use the kavada kedavra curse. Wont they be wiping egg off their face if thats not how it happened??? Anyway! i dont know if i think he's alive per say... i just think hes kindof in limbo in the veil somewhere... We will find out tonight!
