Overall, I'd say Jak 3!
But if you like going on killing sprees, Jak 2 would be better!
Killing sprees are better anyway if you've played the game lots of times!
You just get freakin' bored playing the game for the 15th time...

There are differant things from each game that I liked. I loved the animation quality of the cutscenes in Jak X. I LOVED the weapon choices in Jak 3, but overall. I think Jak 2 is my favorite. because I've played that game around 20 times and I never get sick of it. I just love the missions. (and they hadnt' changed keira's voice yet) And the atmosphere is very calm in jak 2, like if you just want to play around somewhere quiet, just head up into the precursor mountains.
Yeah, the missions of jak 2 would have to be my overall reason for choosing it. (plus I love the little jakXkeira drama that kindof goes on)
In Jak 3 they hardly use keira in the cutscenes... but I would still like to know WHY they changed her voice.. I hate Tara Strong..
