All I Want Is You, Chapter One

Roxanne bent down on one knee while holding an old-fashioned camera in her hands. Once she got the camera at the right angle that she wanted she clicked the button, there was a flash from the camera and the picture was taken. She had been taking pictures in the park, as the fresh fluffy snow flakes fell to the ground. She adored the scenery, especially when it snowed. She clicked a few more shots and carefully placed her camera back in her bag. She began to walk around the park looking for random inspiration.

She looked around and then it hit her. Literally. A snowball had hit her right in the face. She turned around to see her best friend, Izzy giggling to death.

“IZZY!” She screamed, running over to her friend and purposely tripped, grabbing a big clump of snow. Roxanne hugged her friend while sliding the cold snow down the back of her friend’s shirt. Izzy let out a scream while wiggling around. This time it was Roxanne’s time to giggle herself to death.

Izzy or Isabelle Evens had been her best friend since the sixth grade. She had befriend Roxanne when nobody else would. She was one of the nicest people she had ever met. Her bright green eyes were always glowing with warmth and her golden brown hair always had funky high-lights in it. Today she had a strips of blue in it.

“ROX!” Izzy screamed back, mimicking her.

“What are you doing here?” Roxanne asked.

“Everyone is at the coffee shop. They sent me over here to get you.” Izzy explained.

“Coffee, yay.” Roxanne smiled. She was freezing, for she had been out for almost two hours just taking pictures.

Izzy and Roxanne walked to the coffee shop giggling and talking about pointless things, as they always did. Once they arrived in the small coffee shop Izzy pointed out the table that all their friends were crowded around.

“ROXANNE! GET YOUR A.SS OVER HERE, MISSY!” She heard Ally yell, her other best friend.

Ally Ryan had been her best friend since seventh grade. Ally had been new and needed a friend and sort of just tagged along with Roxanne, not that she minded. They got along very quickly and have never been in any sort of fights, just small disagreements that they end up laughing over in the end.

Roxanne walked over to Ally, who was sitting on Mikey lap. Mikey Way is Ally’s boyfriend, Roxanne swears that they’re going to get married someday.

“Now give me a hug.” Ally ordered once Roxanne got over to the table.

She smiled and leaned over the table, almost knocking someone’s coffee over to give her a hug.

Roxanne slid inside the booth that they were in, they included; Ally, Mikey, Gerard, and Izzy.

“Where’s Bob and Ray?” She asked.

“The couldn’t come.” Gerard said.

“Ooh.” She said.

As Izzy cuddled up to Gerard and Ally to Mikey, Roxanne felt a tad left out. But she shrugged it off. She was used to it anyways.

“Well, I’m going to go get some coffee.”

She walked over to the counter and asked for a regular coffee. The cashier told her the total. She dug around in her pocket looking for the right amount of change and just as she pulled it out, and was about to hand it over, someone else handed over the money.

She looked over and saw Frank.

“Frank, why did you do that? I could have payed for it myself.”

“It was only a couple of dollars, Roxy.” He said, handing her the coffee.

“Thanks...I still could have payed for it myself though.” She said walking back over to the booth, sipping her coffee in the process.

Frank had always done things like that for her. She was never quite sure why. It did have it’s advantages at times, but it also annoyed her. Maybe he was just trying to be nice, she thought.

She watched from the booth as Frank bought his coffee and walked towards them, sitting in the booth next to her. He put his arm around her as she tried to wiggle away from him, causing him to move closer to her.

“Aw, you two are so cute together!” Izzy teased.

Roxanne’s cheeks flushed red and Frank smirked.

“Right, well, it’s getting late. I have to go.” She lied.

“But you just got here.” Ally whined.

“I know, but I’ll see you all day tomorrow and besides I was out all day. My dad is probably worried.”

“I’ll walk you home.” Frank piped up.

“That won’t be necessary, Frank. I can get there by myself. I’m a big g.irl.” She explained.

She said goodbye to all of her friends and walked outside, into the bitter cold night. She could see her breath as she breathed. It had finally stopped snowing, but it would most likely start up again tomorrow.

She heard footsteps behind her and turned around to see Frank.

“You just don’t take no for an answer, do you?.” She asked.

“Ah, you’re catching on.” He smirked.

There was a long awkward silence as they walked along. Roxanne had always hated awkward silences. She was about to say something, but Frank had beat her to it.

“So, what do you want for Christmas?” Frank asked, randomly.

“Nothing.” Roxanne answered simply. It was true, she didn’t really want anything.

“Come on, you have to want something.”

“I don’t want anything, really.”

She stopped once she came upon her house. She thanked Frank and walked up the sidewalk to her house, opening the door and going inside.

“You’re welcome.” Frank whispered, while walking away to his own house which was in the opposite direction.

Sometimes that Frank Iero completely puzzled her.
