You know, if there's one thing I can't stand, it's stupid idiot moron jackasses who just HAVE to let me know just how much they hate Green Day every single time I so much as mention one of their songs! Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with people not liking Green Day - it's just that they find it so frickin' necessary to go on and on about how much they suck, never mind the fact that I never asked for their opinion, that drives me mad! Or worse, they crack a really dumb, stupid, retarded, not-funny joke (I can appreciate a joke going in almost ANY direction, as long as they're sufficiently funny; these ones aren't). I have two examples:
#1
Girl: Who's the singer of Green Day? (Or something like that, I don't remember)
Me: Billie Joe Armstrong. Why?
Girl: Oh. Is he related to NEIL Armstrong? (Walks off cracking up at how frickin' hilarious she is)
#2
Me: Get this man, Green Day have gone ENVIRONMENTALIST!
My friend: This is Billie Joe in 2 years! *flashes peace sign* Peace, man!
Me sad giggling) You bring shame to the name of Green Day.
Stupid Idiot #1: Haha she said Green Day and shame in the same sentence!
Stupid Idiot #2: Green Day IS shame.
So, now I'm wondering: has anyone here on GDR had any close encounters with the obnoxious GD haters similar to mine? Or...dare I say it?....even WORSE than mine? If you've got one, post it!

Yes I have!! But they don't really make jokes they just say how bad they are!
They pretty much say We hate Green Day, Green Day sucks. Its annoying!
But I have heard of one joke:

xd Oh my god, this reminds me of this story....
I was with a bunch of my Green Day obsessed friends and some jerky kid slammed one girl's hand in her locker. So, we all got pissed at him, stole his bag and put it in the one place he couldn't go, the girl's bathroom. Well, we eventually gave it back to him and on his way out he said, "You're all American Idiots!" That cracked us up; it was so lame. ('course I was listening to Welcome to Paradise so barely heard him.)

I just remembered one put down!
Ok so I was walking by myself to lunch at school and these guys came up behind me and looked at my packback which says Green Day on it. And so they said: "Who listenes to Green Day?"
"I don't know not me, but have you heard of Red Day? What about Purple Afternoon? How about Red Night"
And thats pretty much what they said and I just ignored them.

Ok so I was walking by myself to lunch at school and these guys came up behind me and looked at my packback which says Green Day on it. And so they said: "Who listenes to Green Day?"
"I don't know not me, but have you heard of Red Day? What about Purple Afternoon? How about Red Night"
And thats pretty much what they said and I just ignored them. Wow, they're pathetic. xd

Oh, the kids at both of the schools I have gone to for middle school are too stupid to even come up with anything other to say than:
"Green Day is gay."
and
"Green Day sucks."
When they say Green Day is gay, I sometimes make a comment back along the lines of, "What's wrong with gay people?"
Then they have no response unless they're strict to religion.
OR they repeat themselves.
I usually ignore it or roll me eyes. I find it hilarious.

Some people go around and chant 'Green Gay' when me and my friends are sitting at the table. They also say 'Green Day Sucks!' thats around the time some one gets told to FOD/Go to hell and screw themselfs cause no one will do it for them/end up with their teeth down their throat

All the guys in my grade make fun of me for liking Green Day. It started when I was singing Longview to myself, one of them heard me and started chanting "Rock! Rock! Rock!" shaking his head around with his hands in the air. The whole school has caught on to it, so I hear it at least once a day. Then I laught at them cause they look raving mad. 3nodding

Them? All they could say to everyone was "We're almost famous."
All Panic! at the Disco cares about is fame and money, and they're extremely snobby and total sell-outs. I hate them.
MCR and Fall out Boy were inspired by Green Day. MCR is huge fans and friends of Green Day, so they really need to watch it before they open their mouth again.
