So... I've been wondering for a while. I know that the Kyuubi is strictly a demon of malice and destruction. Do we know if the Kyuubi could be having any negative effects on Naruto-kun? I know it heals him an all, but the seal is broken a little isn't it? or weakening? that can't be good for naruto. Right?

It's not good for him sometimes. Umm Spoilers: Everytime the Kyuubi comes out and heals him and gives him a lot of power, it shortens his lifespan. Also, if the Kyuubi fully comes out of him (like not in his body) in any way, Naruto will die.

well all ive seen is like the demon fox help Naruto... u know... beat Neji, Haku, heal him... all that stuff u know... but if he gets free i bet hed b evil 100%

kuubi is evil,if he wasnt there narutos dad would still be alive and noone would turn ther back on him like they did when he was little

The way the seal is set up to my understanding is so that Naruto can tap into a portion of the Kyuubi's chakra which gives him the ability to heal rapidly (ie - it's not the kyuubi directly, but kind of a like a buffer to keep Naruto from getting taken over by the kyuubi's full power).

Also the Kyuubi does hurt Naruto because in the manga you can read that once he starts getting more tails it starts to hurt Naruto physically. By the time he has 3-4 tails it starts to burn his skin as it takes him over.

All and all I think that the kyuubi has its benefits, but in its true form it is more bad than good.

the kyubi has its benefits and disadvantages but im sure naruto will eventually have more control over it

well, from my understanding of the series, every time the Kyuubi heals naruto he also shortens his lifespan. Its a lot like the 5th hokage's Rapid cell regeneration technique. Every time the Kyuubi heals him it burns through more of Naruto's life force. Not to mention the same thing happens when the Kyuubi takes over Naruto's body. So if Naruto doesn't stop using Kyuubi's power it could end up killing him. Not to mention if the seal breaks or is released, the power could be too much for Naruto's body to handle.
