Okay, I was one of the people who actually asked for a tutorial like this, but I'm impatient and didn't get one, so I did some research and started one myself!

BABIES

This is the newborn baby tutorial.



Little explanation: They usually hold their limbs quite close to their bodies and scream their heads off. Who wouldn't after spending the last nine months in the fetal position?

Hopefully you will not be stupid enough to use a pink and red pen when you do yours. You can't erase anything, and these things are buggers to get right the first time around.

I have abosolutely no idea how people actually draw these, this is just the way it makes sense to me, and the way that seems easiest.

Well. For show, I decided to show you my first proper attempt at drawing a baby, other than making this tutorial. I know, I suck. I took two seconds to have a look at some pictures of real babies and a couple of anime ones and then made this tutorial from nothing.



It seems to work though. You'll never guess who those two are. Eskimo baby suits make them shapeless. I'm so lazy! rofl

It's a really great tutorial! I love babies, so I'm often doodling my younger cousins cos they're so interesting to draw.

Any plan on doing toddlers and not-newborn babies?

Well, I got around to it after having an adorable little two year old boy sit on my lap for fourty minutes while we looked at picture books. D: Its pretty quick, and not that great because I suck at tutorials and toddlers, it would seem, but whatever.
