ok im kinda new to ragnarok so i was wondering how do u capture a poring as ur pet?

You need an Unripe Apple tame, which is also dropped by Porings. o:
To tame it, get near a Poring, and use the apple. Your cursor will turn into a target selection one, and click it. o: A slot'll come up, and all you have to do is click. 8D

there is a slight chance you will get it as a pet.

I think the Poring has the most capture rate out of all the pets...it's around a 30% chance I think....and once you get a successful capture, you'll get a Poring Egg....and you need a Pet Incubator to hatch it....

To capture a Poring, you need its Capture Item, which is an Unripe Apple. After obtaining a Unripe Apple from Porings, you can go find one and slowly cut down its HP (since the lower the HP, the easier it is to catch it).
After getting the HP down, you can use the Capture item and use the roulette to capture. The Poring is the easiest pet to capture, so it'll be easy! =)
