Raynakre Firebrand

Ray is Sunny's clutchbrother, a relationship that is taken very seriously in the tribe, as the believe is that clutchsiblings have a bond that other siblings do not. Indeed, they are very close, though you might not know it to see them bicker.

Raynakre, like most of his species, has a special love for bright and pretty things. Unlike most other dragons, however, he likes to work with them and make them into other bright and pretty things. He makes jewelry, wears a lot of it, and sells whatever he can bear to part with. Whatever else he might think of living as human, he's painfully aware of the fact that he'd never be able to do this sort of thing with dragon forepaws.

In his true form, Ray is very similar to his sister, though black where she is grey and red where she is yellow.

Eldila Suivi of Last Home
Eldila is an influential Elder of Ray and Sunny's tribe, and he takes his role as head of Last Home quite seriously. He is extremely old and rather meddlesome, and, rarest of all among their people, a sorcerer. Eldila has been blind for a long time, though he rarely admits that this is the case. He is almost always accompanied by his raven familiar, Odin-Ing, who acts as his eyes.

Atiao Minato Ekeli, Wyrmslayer
A'o, as he's often called, is the eldest son of a famed dragonslayer, and was a dragonslayer himself, the last of a very great line. He's tried to kill Sunny and Ray several times, but he's also saved their lives, and Sunny's returned the favour many times as well. These days, he's a nervous sort of fellow with a tendency to hem and haw. He lives in mortal terror of his mother.

Cona Crestrider of Last Home
Cona is a young dragon from Ray and Sunny's tribe. She, like the rest, has taken on a human shape; however, her own lack of skill causes her to take on a sort of half-and-half shape, nine feet tall. Her ancestry is mostly that of a race of ocean-going amphibious dragons of the Mediterranean, though she is mixed, like nearly all of the tribe. Cona is, perhaps, a little slow on the uptake, loud and boisterous and bold.

Wilhelm Strumbacher
Wil is one of Atiao's childhood friends. Actually, one of his only childhood friends. Wil is a member of another prominent dragonslaying clan, and has a desire to follow into the family business. What Wilhelm may lack in skill or cunning he makes up for with pure heart and a desire to do well. Wil has a secret passion for flowers, and in what was probably the most forethought he's ever displayed in his life, decided that when he retires from slaying, whether from age or injury, he will open a florist's shop.

Thyre Garloup
Thyre Garloup, formerly known as Thyre Legarrot, is one of the few people who is friends with both Sunny and Ray. He's a werewolf, originally from Quebec, and by human standards, possibly insane. He's impulsive and friendly, genuinely nice. He's a wanderer, with no permanent job or address, no money, very little other than the clothes on his back and his "brother," Esprit, who is just an ordinary wolf. He's not a terribly sexual person, and though he tends to flirt without realising what he's doing would be considered flirting, he'd almost never follow up on it. He is, however, a born romantic. Thyre has a fetish for purple hair.

Siikal Roseash of Last Home
A member of Ray and Sunny's tribe, Siikal is upbeat, enthusiastic, friendly, energetic, optimistic--and generally drives Sunny nuts over long periods of time. Nevertheless, Sunny does like Siikal. Siikal likes Sunny, but likes Ray better as she used to date him; she tends to forget that she was the one who broke up with him. Being slightly less skilled than Sunny or Ray at shifting, even in her human form she possesses brown scales across her face and along her back and arms.
Status: Unknown.

Dymin Ekeli
The mother of Atiao Ekeli and his younger brother Helos, Dymin is a middle-aged, imperious woman who is used to being obeyed. She has been matriarch over the Ekelis for much of her adult life; those older than her have mostly died carrying out the family business. She is clever, stubborn, and has a violent streak. Among dragons, she has a frightening reputation that is no laughing matter.
Status: Unknown, presumed burnt, but it's doubtful.

David John
A young paleontology student from the same Earth as the Tribe, interested in the class of six-limbed saurians, he recently fell through the portal to Gaia while fleeing from a dragonslayer who believed he could help him find some, well, dragons. David was quite delighted to meet Bronwen, but their new friendship suffered when he discovered her shadow manipulation abilitiles. They parted ways soon after that.
Status: Unknown, but somewhere in Durem, most likely.

The Shadows, Red, Blue, Purple, and Yellow
Four entities with a confused sort of hive-mind who quite like Bronwen, to the point of worship. They were once human with demonic ancestry, and embraced that side of themselves until they became little more than shadows. There are supposed to be five of them, but they lost Green some time ago and have been searching for a replacement since. Red is the youngest of them and is generally considered to be the smartest, since it does the remembering for them. Blue has the ability to possess people. Purple is a Seer. Yellow has the ability to touch (or harm) physical objects. The four of them are fairly powerful together, but pose little threat to anyone who can keep their head--they're hurt by bright light and easily distracted.
Status: No one could ever know. Probably still searching for Green.
