Silence in the first dawn, a lone lark singing the praises of the day hich in one of the many acacia trees. Below those skelinton like trees lay a creature, dead it would seem a shadow of a beast. A Jackal perhaps had picked at it's ears during the dark hours. Clearly the beast had to be dead. How strange then that it drew in a deep, long, raspy breath, the frame rattling, the skin seemingly would fall from the dillapdated form with that breath. This breath, he did not need to draw it, though occassionally he did, just because he could, because it gave the illusion of life. Truely nothing such as him could possibly live.

The lion sat slowly then, the head which seemed large andout of place against the rest of the frame wobbled for a moment as if it must fall off with his movements. The carcass rose from the ground slowly, the form of the beast was beddraggled, dirty, boney. Every bone in his body was clearly visable, the spines ridges clinging to his thin furred skin.

Stone grey eyes looked slowly upon the world, emotionless, dead, unfeeling they watched the sun peer over the horizon. He greeted the new day by letting the breath he had drawn some minuites ago escape from between his sown lips, his frame once again juddering in a deathly, bone rattling manner. Tattered wings stretched for a mere moment before he turned his gaze away from the sun. He never knew where he was going, he simply knew when he got there. The god of famine took a step, slow, drawn out, seemingly agonising step. He was on his way to some where.

Irrationality was on the move; she was usually on the move though, not caring where she went or where she roamed, for the world was unique and interesting, no matter where she went. Though lately she'd been traveling with Truth, the two had decided to part for a while, promising to meet up later that same month to share experiences and roam together once more. It'd been hard for Irrationality to mingle with Truth at first, however, both had found the other's company of use and quite enticing after a short while.

Truth was not here however, and Muhali though not exactly bored, craved some company. This was why she was always on the move; her domain usually demanded she mingle with others, less she feel lonely.

Her form must've been quite strange for anyone to lay eyes upon; a healthy, blue hued frame that trotted quite idly along the Savannah, clear blue eyes staring up ahead and all around as her tail swished. A blissful smile adorned her maw as she moved on, and though her wings were missing from sight, her eyes seemed to voice the Knowledge she possessed, a knowledge that could have only been acquired through generations of life. Though she was an adult and had been for as long as her mind stretched back, Irrationality was small; so lithe, in fact, that her frame was no larger than a juveniles's, or perhaps a small adolescent, her stripped pelt shinny, well kept, like that of a groomed cub.

She was obviously not built to fight, and she lacked Audilifu's elegance, replaced with perhaps, childish charm, that showed whenever she stopped to smile at a passing insect, or whenever she'd lower her head to idly sniff a flower here or there. All in all, Irrationality lived in her own small world of bliss; she was not ignorant of the ways of the world, but rather, instead adopted a childish perspective, clinging to the small world she had created inside her own mind. Despite this, Muhali had moments where she displayed a great deal of intelligence and hindsight, her true nature showing, peeking behind the irrationality that clouded her mind most of them time.

Tell truth however, Muhali would've never had it any other way; she was happy in bliss, and she was happy within her own domain. She'd come to decide long ago that if irrationally were to lack from the world, it would be a monotone shade of grey. Nothing would ever happen, and nothing would develop; irrational thoughts were needed to keep life moving... love was irrational too, in many ways.

It was in fact mostly due to her domain that Muhali stopped her idle trotting and instead stared off into the near distance, where a strangely shadowy figure padded, moved like the living dead. Never did it cross her mind to leave the figure alone; quite the contrary; the petite goddess allowed her wings to reappear as she trotted towards the larger male, stopping near him, peering at him as she tilted her head. Her body moved again, her wings spreading slightly as she scampered under his frame, scurrying under his belly, only to come and circle him again, taking his tail in her mouth, a gentle tugging, playful motion to her actions. Her on tail swished slowly as she grip on his remain, her eyes blinking once, twice as she offered him a smile, even despite her gentle tugging.

No words were exchange, and it must've been quite a sight for anyone to see; the small blue hued goddess tugging at what might've been seen as death incarnated, specially noting how her size was easily merely half his, if not less. She didn't mind though; her mind was irrational after all. She liked it that way.

The lord of Famine had paused mid step as she had assailed him. His frame twitching as her soft fur touched his bone cage of ribs. His movements were slow and laboured as he watched her merry dance around his body, those stone dead eyes fixed upon the delecate figure as she circled around his skellinton like body. He gave a slow, outtake of breath as the female finally latched on to his tail, the breath making his deillapidated form rattle, the air dancing around his chest cavity echoeing as he forced the seemingly dead body to take that eerie breath.

His lips turned in to a begrudged smile it would seem as he watched her yank upon his tail forcing his frame to jerk rather severely. His lips bled lightly with the smile that lifted his maw, a goddess? A cub? No far from a cub, simply child like. "Usually even the gods will avoid me." A voice echoed, though his mouth did not move, his voice was disjointed, upon the air, inher head, his lips never moved, his body did not react to the voice. That voice was only used upon the odd occassion when words had to be said. Famine was a loner he always had been, his shape, his frame, and the look in those shadowy eyes usually kept even the most sturdy of gods away, he had certainly never called anyone friend. Companion perhaps, war, death, pestilance they were his companions in this world. This, cute little creature was none of them yet she seemed to wish to, play withhim? The god of famine was surprised.

"This body may look frail little goddess but it has never fallen before" That voice again, those stoney eyes were fixed squarely upon the little bluish goddess but his eyes were dead, clearly the voice was not being made by the body, the voice was there becasue he needed one, those lips hd been sown shut long ago. Still, he managed to draw a breath which rattled his frame allt he way down to that pull rope of a tail. "Who are you?" he could guess who the godess was, mischeif perhaps, laughter, fun, there were gods and goddesses in their hundreds, each one careing for their own domain. His domain, that of famine pulled him to it's next destination, the body, the body with no true voice dragged itself along to every corner of the world.

It could stop and it did, to rest, if that was what becoming a carcass entailed,he had never been forced to pause before, still, his job could wait for this little moment. It had been a long time since he had spoken to anyone, the last goddess he had talked to had been Leweatle of the drowned. This creature, was something very different indeed.

The smile remain upon the lithe one's maw as she gave his tail another gentle tug, her teeth small, never harming his skin. Though still she refused to use words, upon his voice, the smile twitched; broadened slightly, her eyes twinkling before she finaly dropped his tail. It was obvious tha this appearence did not bother her, for whatever reason, and she seemed to need to show this aspect, without words again, for there were times Irrationality thought words were futile; actions always spoke out more loudly. This in mind, the petite body moved swiftly, weaving itself betwee the male's back legs, brshing herself against the pelt like a playful kitten before doing likewise to the front legs and finaly coming to sit down to his side.

Again she spoke not, but instead offered him another smiles, her nose wrinkling in thought for a moment, "I am me, but my name is Muhali," her voice was childish, holding what might've seemed like a hint of laughter, yet not quite, for it was not aimed at him, but rather, at the world about her... at every single creature and every single little blade of grass. They were all the same to her, after all, and equaly fascinating; everyone had a job to do, even this shadowy creature before her, and Irrationality never questioned this.

Instead she raised a paw, "A riddle!" she chirped happily, one claw peeking out of the one finger she'd raised, "If the world would lack it's happy chirp and instead became dull, I would be missing, since I'm the one that makes those things that are not normal happen; If I were to leave, love would be in trouble, no longer blind, it'd stumble, and chaos would not really be chaos; it'd lack me," still she smiled, "I am that voice that calls for action at the back of the mind; the one that makes like interesting in strange ways; antagonist to logic and rationality."

A pause as she finaly lowered her paw back down, her wings spreading slightly before she pressed the top part of her body to the ground, the pose playful, "If you can roam, you can move, and if you can move, you live; only those that don't move fall apart. I saw you move before," thus was her logic to his words as she tilted her head, her clear eyes gazing at him without fear, a hint of curiosity dancing, twinkling within them. Though happy, she wasn't obnoxiously so, the warmth that might radiated from her probably contagious to a certain point, her paw reaching out to poke his fore paw, once, twice, "What about you?" it was amusing she had to ask, however, it was only right in her mind. An answer for a question.

That's the way the game went.

"Muhali" That strange erie voice echoed again as he let his gaze rest upon the eternally youthful female. "I am what you see" It was a simple enough statement, after all, what else could survive as he was, a walking carcass, so whithered that even the mucles sagged loosly. The body once again took a deep, ragged in take of breath, he could do this on occassion, he knew it gave the impression that the body others saw was alive, feeling, suffering. He had long ago cast away any feeling he might have had. the body that m,oved that walked was living, yet not, it hung between the two worlds, precariously balanced on the edge though he never fell in to either of these worlds.

It was almost two minutes before the body let that breath roll back over his bloodied lips his body shifting a little so he could watch the energetic 'youngster' play between his legs, to frollic almost? It confused him that she did not fear him, or at least that she did not simpyl walk the other way. After all, though his pwers were not strong enough to hurt a god, his toch had before let those of the immortal blood shiver and feel a deathly hunger.

He lifted the bone thin paw which she poked, his tattered wings stretching slightly as he did so, his body shivered as if it must fall over. "If you must have a name little goddess they have always called me Jaddis, Famine, starvation, you may decide for yourself as I no doubt you will." He let his paw touch the ground once again, the body seemingly regaining it's balance as he did so, that voice for a moment followed the ethreal voices actions. The bones moved slowly as he made to sit, his hips peering out benetah the thin emaciated fur, the bones seeming like they must peirce the sickly coloured skin, though they did not. "Irrationality, I am Famine, as I have always been."

"I am what you see"

The petite female tilted her head to one side, then towards the other in a playful manner, almost as if taking his words for a riddle; it was only after several moments that she smiled, "A lion?" she said as she allowed herself to paw at the floor between them. Tell truth, Muhali would've not noticed the fact he was Famine had the fact been written upon his very face; her mind simply did not work like that, or rather, no longer worked like that.

The irrationality that clouded her judgement and thoughts made it near impossible for her to see or understand that everyone was different, not for the things she knew they were, but for their outside too. It was a fault of hers, of perhaps a gift, in a way, but nevertheless, the goddess felt the one in front of her was no different from the very insect that happened to be crawling up her tail that instant. The fact Muhali wasn't entirely affect by the hunger was quite simple; she was irrational, in all her ways and actions. She merely had to believe she was not hungry to feel satisfied; there was magic within belief, that's what the petite goddess felt.

In fact, she was quite sure that if anyone, even a mortal believed strongly enough, the strength would make that something true, in a sense.

There was a small pause as he voiced his name, and the smaller female allowed the lower part of her body to lay upon the ground gracefully, "Jaddis then," she said as she lifted a paw to grace her maw, even if slightly, winking in the process, "It kinna sounds like Daddy in a way," another pause and the smaller framed goddess seemed lost in thought, "I don't remember my daddy... I never did meet him, I think. Are you my Daddy?" the same smile still lingered her maw, innocent yet ageless, "No, no, you could not be my Daddy though, perhaps a friend though?"

How she had come in and out of such conclusions was no doubt a mystery, however, Muhali seemed happy enough with her thoughts, "I am Irrationality, just like I too have always been," there was a flash of something else within her eyes, something that showed even if briefly that there was someone extremely intelligent lingering there, masked by the childish charm she held about her, "Though I was not always the same, however, it was my realm and belief that changed me; sometimes things aren't meant to change, and change is not necessary, but ... at the same time, change can lead to something better than the earlier times," she explained not what she meant, but rather smiled again, and that flash was gone, replaced by the childish glee she'd held only moments before, "One day I will die, just like you will die, and we all die; that day I will dance amongst the stars and shall pass my realm off to another; I do hope that day's far away though. I like this Earth."

Steely eyes watched the little female silently, he could think of nothing to say to her, infact her actions almost confused him. He had not felt such an emotion for a very long time and it caused his sown lips to turn in a smile, it caused the blood to roll down his chin though he did not seem to notice this, he did not flinch when the binds cut through his lips.

"You are a strange one irrationality." His voice whispered in to the breeze his shadowed eyes fixed upon the little femme, she bemused him and he almost enjoyed this feeling of bemusement. "Perhaps I knew your father, I have been upon this earth since time forgot, or perhaps I came because I was needed, I am not sure. It does not matter though irrationality for I will be here, or one like me until the end of time. I am needed, so I live." He knew full well that the phrase 'live' was almost rediculous, the creature that stood before the little femme seemed to be the living dead rather than the true living yet he seemed content, if surprised that a goddess of the living had approached him to speak.

"I'm sure you will be here for as long as you wish goddess, is that not the way of the world?" The body seemed to suddenly remember it was supposed to be breathing and it took in a slow rattling breath, the air seeming to play a note on each one of those clearly visable ribs.
