I started Haunting Ground earlier, and its not so much as scary, as jumpy, though it gets a little freaky at times. Then again, i'm only a couple hours into it.

nymphoterial I've gotten really into horror games lately, and was wondering: Whats your favorite horror game ever? My favorite horror games were back on the original Playstation. One of them was the original Silent Hill (yes it was a game before it was a movie), Resident Evil (sort of), and my favorite, Clock Tower.

Silent Hill games are still the scariest, but the only one to make me go Holy Flip! was Fatal Frame 2 (yes I honestly shouted such things when ghost suddenly pop up)

i dont know but The Suffering was pretty nifty and spooky and i loved it but it got stolen from me b4 i could finish it... which was sad. but i guess that would be my fav.

Amanda the archer I'm a little behind on the gaming but I like Bloodrayne on my gamecube. I only got a chance to play maybe an hour into that game, but i really liked it. The movie lacked... period, though.

Silent Hill 3&4, since with the improved graphics, I really just could not play those anywhere near night time. Gears of War gets me that way too, sometimes.
And Bloodrayne the movie was very much lacking, considering there were thrall running through the daylight... doh!

All i play are horror games and i own all the silent hill games. they are definately the best. Haunting Grounds was actually a good game. i liked it except for the stupid maid who kept on stalking me with a peice of glass...Resident Evil 4 is also an awesome game. heart

I haven't played many scary games, but from what I've heard, the Fatal Frame series and the Silent Hill series are the scariest. I would like to play them, but, knowing me sweatdrop I wouldn't because I don't do the scary games.
