Okay, if you guys go alll the way back to the Forest of Death where Ino, Shikamaru and Choji jumped in the fight against the sound nins, you'll notice that Shikamaru was in shorts. When it comes down to my knowledge... when the hell did he have a chance to change into capris by the time of the Prelims?! No one else changes! So why did he?! xD

Now, has anyone noticed that Sakura seems to want to reveal a lot more? In the begining, it started out with her wearing a long sleeved chinese outfit, plus cream Capris. As soon as they passed the bell test, she switched to shorts. As soon as the Zabuza Arch ended, she switched to a sleeveless chinese outfit instead. HMMMMMMM <_<

Lol =P they are ninjas they can change in their sleep >.> lol thought its pretty weird why they would change like that >.> Maybe its because they just want a change of clothes... ugh Naruto never changes >.>... Actually nevermind he changes... ONCE

Because no one wants to wear the same clothes all the time I guess. The forest of death part happened over a few days so I suppose over that time they had time to change.....or Kishimoto thought that changing their outfits would make them look better. (I think it's the second one)

From behind Shika, his capris look like shorts. He was actually wearing capris the whole time. It's just the fact that he was crouched made the capris look shorter. Yeah... Naruto stuff is weird like that.
As for Sakura...
Maybe she's trying to pose for Sasuke. XD I'm just kidding. That wasn't funny.
Maybe Kishi's trying out different things for her. All mangaka change their art throughout their time as an artist. It's either that or Sakura's clothes had gotten damaged in previous battles... and she purchased a new type or just mended her old one.

Shikamaru definatly is wearing capris the whole time like Hanabi said- my capris are just like that.
It could also be changing Seasons in Naruto- from winter when Sakura would wear the long sleeved dress to summer where she would wear the sleeveless one.

maybe shika wanted to roll up his capris or something. or he was still wearing capris? we shall never know. as for sakura, i woulndnt notice something like that. i would be to busy noticing everything else. whee

I never noticed that Shikamaru changed clothes. And I'm usually pretty good about that, too... eek
But, when they change, sometimes it makes the series more interesting, ne? wink
