It was just one of those days. The kind where the birds no longer chirped, they sung, and the sky was just a tad bit bluer than it was the day before, and the air tasted sweet, and the colors were brighter than they usually tend to be.

Eydis snarled.

Ugh, how these days bored her. There was nothing to terrorise, even if you tried. The creatures just smiled at you, or blinked, and the odd one even laughed - but never any screaming or running or general signs of distress. Even the stupid flowers that dripped off her hair couldn't be removed even after incessant tugging.

This was a sucky day. Eydis blew her bangs away with a huff, continuing to plod down the (parctically shining) grassy plain. Gawd.

Looking around at all the scenery Adelle smiled to herself. Such a wonderful day it was to be out for a quiet wander. Though she did wish it was a bit colder out but she loved any kind of weather so it didn't bother her much.

Each step she took as she wandered came a quiet jingle as the bells on her leg, mane, and tail each shook slightly with each vibration that came with a step. Though the jingle stopped when she stopped to smell a pretty purple flower.

Eydis demanded perfection, and nothing less. Perfect appearance, perfect vision, perfect deception, perfect answer - perfection.

This was anything but perfection. Eydis curled her nose at the display of flowers below her, cursing the breeze that blew her hair into her mouth. It looked like someone had swallowed a bunch of that pointless Cherokee paint and then lost their breakfast that rooted itself and grew into plantlife with petals. Gawd, did she have enough petals as it was.

She commanded her hooves to carry her down the hill, and they lurched into action - it felt good to be in control of something, Eydis smirked. It quickly fell into a frown at the thought that she didn't have complete control over it, however; she shared it was a goody-two-shoes dunce.

Ugh.

Eydis was so engrossed with self-pity and loathing (and frowning at the flowers) that she hardly noticed the other being until she plowed into it.

"What the - hey!" Eydis snarled, confused and befuddled mind clinging to what she knew and did best - anger. "Watch where you're goin'!"

Quickly backing up a few steps and spreading her wings slightly Adelle couldn't help but looked confused as this stranger came out of nowheres.
"Watch where I'm going? But I wasn't going anywheres or at least I thought I wasn't." her quiet voice said with a very noticable tone of confusion. She looked down at the ground for a few minutes before looking back up at the stranger.

Eydis looked this newcomer up and down. White. Bells - Eydis hated the sound of bells - and red ribbons. Obviously from the winterlands; she'd never been, but, Eydis had heard plenty of tales (mostly from her dunce half who actually talked to people. Talking gets you nowhere; negotiating does.) about it.

And she had wings. If there was one thing Eydis was sore about, it was the fact that she didn't have wings. She couldn't help but scream at the unfairness of it all - flowers in her hair, a stupid other half that rarely relinquished control, and no wings. Life sucked royally.

"Well, obviously you failed in the thinking process," Eydis snorted through her nose, nostrils flaring. "And start going somewhere if you're not; your in my territory." Wherever Eydis was was her territory, and she protected it fiercely - which became rather exhausting when the entire planet was yours. People were just so inconsiderate.

Looking utterly confused Adelle just stood there in silence for a few minutes with just a couple blinks of her eyes in reply. Her territory? I didn't know this area was owned by anyone though. she thought as the silence continued.

"Well if I've intruded I'm deeply sorry." The silence now broken she lowered her head in apology. "I didn't relieze that this area was claimed by someone. I had just been wandering about."

[I'm experimenting with the fonts. XDD;; S'hard to read. So.. don't mind me~]

Yeah, you better be sorry, Eydis thought with a smug smirk. Today was not looking as sucky as it had been five minutes ago. Usually, the people she met (or got RUN OVER BY) were obstinate, blithering, blithe fools who refused to aquiest to any of her requests demands. Eydis was pleased with... with whoever this was.

Seeing as Eydis was a machine of perfection, her mind configured the possibilities of knowing this one's name for future use. Might come in handy some day - pehaps she'd join the ranks of Eydis's army whenever and if ever she decided to conquer the world.

"What's'cher name, tinkletoes?" Eydis rudely remarked. She had a reputation to uphold, after all; no need going sentimental over somebody who actually apologized for their mistakes.

With a small smile slowly appearing Adelle stretched her wings out slightly before she spoke. "I'm Adelle."
She noticed the beautiful red flowers that were scattered over this other's body and couldn't help but stare at them. Oh how she wished she could have at least one flower of her own to go along with her bells.

Eydis wanted to be disgusted with the obvious display of flaunting the wings, but couldn't after her (perfect) mind added up all the things this mare had obeyed her in. Hmm. What to do. Eydis setteled with staring her down - until she noticed this.. "Adelle's" longing gaze at her.

Whoa, whoa, whoa - Eydis didn't swing that way, she did not bat for the home team, and she certainly did not -

Oh. Oh, wait, the flowers. Adelle was just staring at the flowers. 'Course she was, what else was there to look at? Eydis's (perfect) mind slapped Eydis across the face as it supplied her with an answer to the unanswered question.

Maneouvering her body in an exeptionally odd pose that would've wrung any normal horse's neck, Eydis plucked one of the red flowers off of her mane and held it out to the white winged mare. "Take it," she said, which came out more like "thhiket" thanks to the plantlife stuffed in her mouth. Eydis briefly wondered just where her mind had taken a vacation to before shrugging and deciding to "live in the moment," as most suicidal people tended to.

Adelle wondered how the other could twist herself in such a way but quickly pushed that thought aside when she was offered a flower. "Th..Thank you."
She gently took the flower from the nice soquili and tucked it gently in one of her wings. "I really didn't mean to stare. It was just that the flowers look really beautiful on you." she said quietly with a slight nod of her head.

Now there was a word Eydis didn't like - beautiful. Too many vowels, too frilly, too prissy, and never associated with Eydis herself.

Eydis didn't feel that this was supposed to be an insult, however, so she merely bristled and took the compliment in stride. She couldn't stand the plantlife anyway, and it suited Adelle; it echoed the red ribbon spiraling down her tail - made her a bit less harsher on the eyes. Really, there's only so much white one's optical lenses can take.

"You want any more, y'know who to come to," Eydis snorted before turning 180 degrees and striding back the way she came. Time to move on, leave the goody-two-shoes mare with her flowers and ribbons and go find some maggots to throw in someone's mane, or something.

[Charming, isn't she? DX]

"Thank you again." Adelle said as she watched the other walk off. She stood still for a few moments before reliezing that she had never gotten the nice soquili's name.
She took off at a slight jog to try and catch up her bells jingling enough for anyone nearby to hear clearly. "Wait up please?!" she called out hoping that her voice had been heard.

((Oh yes very xD))

UUUUGH.

What does it take to get a little peace and quiet? Eydis forced her muscles to decontract themselves as her teeth clipped together, narrowly missing her tongue. She didn't turn around but cocked an ear in the white mare's vicinity to let her know yeah, I'm listening, whaddaya want?

Jeez. She doesn't have to be so greedy, Eydis thought. Oh, wait - that's a trait I admire. Mmn.. I think I'll make an exception in this case.

Adelle slowed to a stop upon nearing the soquili who's name she needed. "If you don't mind me asking..." she started to say. She was now at a loss for words as she didn't want to appear rude as she's probaly bothered this kind soquili more then enough. Well I don't want to be calling her stranger every time I happen to come across her. So just ask her! she mentally argued.

"If you don't mind me asking what's your name? Though if you'd rather not say then that's perfectly fine and I'll leave you alone." She so hoped that she wasn't going to anger this other soquili that had been kind enough to give her the lovely red flower.

Eydis swiveled her head to glance over her shoulder, an odd look on her face. Befuddled - yes, that's a good word to describe what Eydis was thinking. Why would she want my name? Unless she plans on alerting some stupid natives to come at me with their sharpened sticks - that wouldn't be too good.. Hard to combat those things when they're in packs.

"Why d'you wanna know?" she drawled, frowning. Her muscles automatically tensed in preparation of an assault, having been far used to recieving them in the past.
