A small-framed, brick red Umande'mfumi lion stalked on near-silent paws towards the sands, stopping every few moments to conceal himself as best as he could behind a bush or tree. A wide-mouthed yawn halted the red male yet again. He shook out his white mane and then glanced around, icy blue eyes taking everything around him in.
"Hmmm." He huffed as he took up his pace again, white tipped tail flicking behind him as his paws met sand. The male gave an annoyed growl as he felt the grit between his white toes and then looked up. "If 'e ain't 'ere, 'm goin' ta kill 'im when I do find 'im." He said gruffly, giving his mane another brief shake and then moving faster across the beach.

Trigger yawned and laid alone in the cove that he and another lion shared. The lion jumped to allow the male to join him after talking to him. All he did was mention the name of his mother, Suzuko, and it granted him instant access to such a secluded place. It was only the night before too. Trigger moved along the beach in search of Ani, he seemed to like water after all he was a Mistweaver. Mist means water, but whatever. He came across the den with the male lying inside. He seemed to be staring out into the see, and he had to admit there was a great view from where that lion was. However, the lion was much bigger than he was and he was a firekin so one could imagine. He took the one beside it, just a bit lower than his but it suited him fine. The two got to talking until her name came up after that it was just pure conversation of interests. Fortunately, Trigger kept his secrets locked up.
Trig, the owner of the cove, was out at the time getting a quick bite from the main lands but why did he not simply fish something from the sea? Trigger had done it the night prior and he refused it. He was a strange lion....The Firekin opened his maw into a yawn that sounded more like a conscendo roar. He laid on his back for the time being. It had been a great night too, a wonderful rest without having something beside him wanting something of his, that was a first for once. Ever since the Demons' Den was abandoned, he was finally free of wandering females. In ways he felt used and others he wanted it, sometimes he would lose control. After all he was Firekin.
But without Ashki around and female to occupy him...there was absolutely nothing that was keeping him calm now. He could revert back to being a firekin, cruel, cold-hearted, vicious....he needed to think of a way to calm himself down...but what? Bored of staying inside, he got to his feet and padded outside onto the sand letting his mane fall over his eyes....he never did manage to contain it. Ani tried once but that ended up him losing hair than managing it. He had often wondered where his old friend had gone off to and what he had been doing.

Blue eyes cast across the beach again and the male snarled loudly as his paw caught on a sharp stone. "Damnit!" He exclaimed in a half-roar, half-yell. He flicked his white tipped tail again, an extremem annoyance causing his muscles to tense all over. His brow was furled and he wrinkled up his nose, revealing his impressively clean teeth and gums. The angered expression on the red male's face would have scared the daylights out of any smaller creature, and only himself and few others knew that he could get meaner looking.
Though Funsani was normally calm, the smallest things could set him off like a loaded gun. "Damn beach. Why'd 'e 'ave ta pick a beach?!?!" He yelled again, giving a snort and then reclining to his haunches, lifting the injured paw and staring at it in disgust. He gave it a few quick licks and then stood again, shaking his body and looking around. Another growl and the lion set off again, only wanting to find his long-lost friend.

Trigger yawned again and calmly walked out to the shoreline. The ebb and flow of the tides seem to calm him if only for a while (and make him want to take a leak). He laid himself down at the shoreline, grown used to the sand on his fur, he usually shook it off in the cove just to piss off Trig. He was a neat freak in some ways hat the sand should only enter half way into the den and the rest be stone. He was crazy.
The waves washed up against his forepaw as it laid over the other. He frankly did not care. All he could think about at the moment was his old friend, Funsani, the Mistweaver he spared in the Firekin invasion and the very same who aided to kill his father. Even if it was brief moments after that, he grew to feel comfortable around him. Though sometimes he called him names just to tick him off. Normally he'd never call him by his name or nick name 'Ani' it was more sounded like 'Annie' than 'Ani'. He found it amusing. Moto'Vianzio had been given a nickname to suppress the thoughts of the Firekin, but often times Ani would bring it back up just to bother him and just mad him more angry.
Where are you, tail-raiser...
