Before doing anything here, please read the rules of the senate. Please, for the love of the force, you might actually know how it works. Plus, you don't look like a dufus when in this prestigeous forum. Beware the senate guards, they will make sure your laziness does not impede processes here. This is the Roster of all active (well, mostly) senators currently in office, and the biological stats on their current position. Also, this is the spot where profiles are given for the senators in office, and their prospective planets. Setting up a profile is simple, just fill out the form to the best of your abilities and post it. Moderators will come by and review them. Name: Nel O. Wulf Usual RP Age: 39 Planet: Coruscant (yes, they do have a senator) Political Party: Imperial Slogan: "Great men never hurry; great men cause others to hurry." Personal History: Senator Nelo, as everyone knows him as, is a long time member of the political system. He is an emotional senator, sometimes having the patience to be a seraphim and outlast a jedi, soemtimes temper flaring faster than a foiled sith. Either way, he's an efficient, if not a**l senator, who is not afraid to resort to personal measures at times if he feels strongly about an issue. A master at logistics, Nelo can easily suggest alternatives and alterations to anything presented which could mediate any conflict. The only trouble is that such amounts of logical arguements get lost in the heat of emotion, causing his ideas to go down the drain. His fellow people are what he cares about most. While a steel nerve has gotten him into quite a position of power, he hopes that command will not corrupt him too much, though he'll admit that sometimes being able to take command is necessary to get things done. Contrary to most senators, Nelo is Arkanian by nature, rather than human. Few senators tend to see this, as his personality often times outweighs his appearance. The history is quite long, so to shortcut the long story, read this.The quick and dirty: Coruscant has been around for millenia, and is the capital of the Universe for most of that time. It is the gem in the crown, what makes a government truely in power. You hold Coruscant, you're the king. You lose Coruscant, you're no longer in command. Its face changes upon who is in command, but it doesn't matter what era you're in. Its a city through and through, and is run like one. It is a governmental city, and politics are all that matters. It's house to the senate, where we all debate.

Name: Cale Darksun Usual RP Age: early twenties Planet: Ord Mantell Political Party: Independant ("Outlaw" Party) Slogan: "Dont tread on me." Personal History: A Thief, a Rogue, and a former Space Pirate, Cale won his senate seat through a combination of backroom deals, bribes, and well placed threats of which the authorities cant officially seem to convict him of. Not being a native of Ord Mantell itself (He was born on a big pirate ship. Thats right. I said it.) he nonetheless adopted the planet and represents the interests of a planet with a less than sterling reputation. He's foul mouthed, blunt and often backs the rim, having few good things to say about the core worlds. He's a Corellian, so he's rather critical of the actions of any senator representing any of the Five Brothers. What the-Hey, are you recording this!? * sound of a recorder being slammed on the floor, static * Personal History: Though she claims to oppose piracy of other beings and other criminal acts, it is hard to be sure if Darkened Angel is true to her words as she has been discovered to have had affairs with other beings on all sides of the law and politics. Unfortunately, further information on that subject, including the names of those involved, eludes even the Bothan spynet. Personal History: Unlike most senators, Stel'lar Majic or Stellar Magic was born on a world seperate from that which he represents, cast out from Bothawui as a child he was brought up on Kothlis and enlisted in the Naval Academy. Not only that he is human, the only human thus far known to have survived a battle for his position within Bothan society. His knowledge in the Academy and uniformed service gave him a great knowledge of other cultures and races, and when coupled with a knack for information manipulation and market analysis would grant him significant wealth once outside the service. Like all things in Bothan society, the business lead to politics and a human face for a mixed bothan constituency. Personal History: Elladan Kenet, not to be confused with the chiss of the same moniker, was a native of Kuat, born into the ruling Kuat family. He was employed as a designer while in school, then went on to politics. He's currently Senator of Kuat, though he still assists in research and development.
He is the eldest child of Kuat of Kuat's first child. Combined with the freak-accident that killed the entire parent generation, Kenet is left as the heir to KDY upon Kuat's death.

Planetary history: Colonized circa 25,000 BBY, Kuat was owned by the Ten, a group of wealthy families and there heads. Massive terraforming made the land a 'paradise'. Kuat is most known for its massive Shipyards, which orbit both the planet as well as most of the entire system.
Today, Kuat's KDY is the largest shipyards, and probably the largest single corporation galaxy-wide. Despite this, Kuat has a meager population of 3.6 billion, which is far smaller than other notables such as Abregado-Rae or Coruscant.

Name: John Malone (Johnny to his friends) Usual RP Age: late 20’s early 30’s Planet: Bastion (Sartinaynian) Political Party: Imperial Slogan: “We must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.” Personal History: John Malone was born on Bastion and entered the Imperial Navy at the rank of Lieutenant upon his graduation of the Imperial Naval Officers’ School. He worked his way through the ranks until he reached the rank of Admiral where he served with distinction. It was only upon retirement that he decided to take up politics believing that it was his duty to further serve in any way possible. A stern man who does not suffer fools gladly, he has a strong love of justice and will let his opinion be known on topics he is passionate about.
