::Kyoko's Story:: Kyoko, an awkward angel of sorts. Powerful in mind and soul. A beauty of an angel, despite her dark appearances. Instead of being fair skinned and light haired: she was quite tan and adorned short black hair that always shadowed her powerfully piercing eyes. She loved the night rather than the day, the dark, the stars, the moon, always entranced her. Her behavior was not favored and often looked down upon, her parents worried of her, knowing no good would come of a dark angel like herself. Her wings were already a dark-blue only the tips of her wings remained white. As she aged in the clouds her darkness only enveloped her more. She wore dark clothes, instead of the white tunics. She rebelled often of doing many things during the daylight hours. She did everything at night. Once she reached the age of a teen. Her dark habits had not improved; she was constantly looked down upon by the others surrounding her, though she never let it disturb her. In her mind, it did not matter what they thought of her, she was an angel like them, just with different interests, a different way of controlling her life. But once she came of age, it was apparent she was not going to change her ways. She was responsible for her actions. And her actions her disagreeable, she was not and angel of their sorts. She was gothic, light-hearted, yes. But her ways here not that of a true angel. So she was banished, brandished with the mark of a crescent moon on her right thigh. She found herself a child again, on the streets, scared, cold and alone in early October. Terrified, cold and hungry and walked the streets crying. Rummaging through a few garbage cans she found clothes that would suit her in the world she was told was called ?Gaia?. A large sweatshirt and a skirt she found first and soon after by what looked like a brand new hat that looked like a cat. Kyoko had always heard of the animals that walked the worlds and of all the animals she had always longed to see the one they?d named a cat. She had a small fluffy black cat tail that surprised her when she put on her shirt, she was forced to rip a small hole in the skirt to accommodate the tail but she liked it. The hat she quickly took to after she put it on. Though she didn?t find any food, at least any suitable for eating she continued her search for food and a safe place. She couldn?t remember how she?s gotten here, she just knew she?s done something wrong, and she was being punished for her wrong doings. By morning still cold and hungry she found herself at the doors of the Banir Kinder Adoption Center. It still being early morning no one was there. A strange feeling of security told her to remain at the building till someone arrived. She sat herself near the front door and woke to a young woman shaking her shoulder. She had pointed ears and fair skin and shirt silver hair and a tail! A wolf tail! Of all the odd things! She stared in wonder as the woman took her into the center and gave her something to eat, and soon she was greeted by a few other children. One in particular, a neko with light blue hair and white tiger-like ears and tail. Kyoko admired the way he looked and wished to talk to him, but he snapped at anyone that came near him. His temper was hot and short. Surely he wouldn?t like her nearing him to talk or anything, so she kept to herself. She heard that he had a home, but he hadn?t been picked up yet. The family already had 2 other children from the center two young demons. Kyoko was surprised to learn that a few of the others around her were demons and angels like she. Banished for a reason they either couldn?t remember or wished not to speak of. Later in the day, the woman who had been spoken off earlier came to take the neko home; she soon learned his name was Tsuyoi. She watched in wonder and the woman greeted him with a smile and hugs. Though he didn?t seem to enjoy them in the least. The woman taking him had spiked silver hair and dark skin and pointed ears; she was beautiful in her opinion. As the day drug on, it seemed so slow and at the same time so fast. Something in the back of Kyoko?s mind told her something was going to happen whether it was for the best or worst she still wasn?t sure but she eagerly awaited whatever was coming. As the sun started to set Kyoko started doubting her feelings of anxiety that gnawed at her insides. She sat on the couch with a coloring book but she wasn?t coloring it, most of the pictures had already been colored, she was just looking through it seeing what the others had done. The door opened and a woman in her mid-twenties stepped in smiling at all the kids. Kyoko looked up hiding her bright eyes behind the book eyeing the woman a leapt of excitement thudding in her. The woman had a slight spring to her step and wide smile that never seemed to leave her face. Her short hair bounced in dark spiked around her face and neck. Fox ears and tail accommodated her slim figure, a leather collar with a cross, hung from her neck. The woman who?d taken Kyoko in spoke with the woman for a few minute smiling and nodding. The woman bowed with a slight laugh and wandered around the room talking to a few of the other children while Kyoko continued to watch her not taking her eyes off her for a moment. It was almost as if, if she looked away the woman would disappear and never been seen again. The woman laughed a little making a few girls giggle loudly and she straightened herself up and approached the couch where Kyoko sat. Kyoko?s heart thumped loudly in her throat. As the woman sat down close to her she smiled down at her with clear blue eyes that shown with excitement. ?Hello, what?s your name? I?ve seen you sitting over here the entire time since I?ve come in. I?m Kyoh.? She said holding out a hand. Kyoko gaped for a moment and took her hand blushing and put down the coloring book pulling down at her hat, she was somewhat scared of anyone looking her in the eyes. She was terrified something might happen to them because her eyes were so brightly colored. ?I-I?m K-kyoko.? She said a slight shiver running through her. Kyoh smiled shaking hr hand, bring back up conversation. ?How long have you been here at the BKAC?? she said tilting her head a few spikes of her dark hair shifting a soft red-orange fox ear tilting to the side showing her curiosity. Kyoko thought for a moment, only this morning had she found herself outside the doors of this place, and now there was a strange woman asking her how long she?d been here. ?I came today, just this morning. I don?t know how I got here, I know I did something bad and I?m being punished for it.? She said looking down at the floor away form Kyoh. Kyoh only smiled. ?Well, I put in a request some days ago, that I was looking to adopted a child, preferably a girl, and an angel. I got a call this morning from Arafel saying that she had a few girls down here and a new girl she?d come across this morning.? She said with a grin and glanced at Kyoko?s hat. ?You like cats?? Kyoko mouthed for a moment soundlessly and looked up. ?I?ve never seen one. But I did see a lady that had a cat?s tail and ears! And there was a boy here earlier like that too! I?d like to see one though!? She said her eyes beaming through her dark hair. Kyoh laughed and pulled Kyoko into a hug. ?Well how about this then? I take you home with me, and you can play with my cats as long as you like! We?ll find you a room and decorate it any way you like!? Kyoh said laughing. Kyoko squeezed Kyoh back giggling loudly. ?I?d like that! But won?t I have to come back here?? she asked looking up at Kyoh. Kyoh only shook her head, ?No, You?ll be staying with me, as part of the family! We?ll come back here sometimes though, so you can meet others like you! There are a lot of children like you. We?ll come back here and stay for a while so you can play, and I can talk with a few of the other parents. Sounds good?? Kyoko nodded her head unable to speak a word. She?d only been here a day and this woman was taking her home, a real home, with CATS! Lord knows what other animals this woman may having seeing she was half an animal herself being a Kitsune. Kyoh stood up taking Kyoko with her, Kyoko clung to Kyoh tightly, scared of being dropped, though she trusted Kyoh already. Kyoh walked over to the desk where Arafel sat and explained that she?s adopt Kyoko. Kyoko was set down and told to say good-bye to the other children for now while Kyoh filled out the necessary paperwork. Kyoko did as she was told and told her good-bye with many hugs, good lucks and congratulations from the others. Kyoh came back over to Kyoko picking her up again and said good-bye to the other children wishing them all luck on finding good homes. Kyoko gave one last wave and left the center, it was already dark outside, the stars shown brightly overhead the crescent moon hanging in the sky. Kyoko marveled at the wondrous sight. She?d been too frightened the night before to look up at the sky at the stars above her and now she was staring at them and all their beauty. Kyoh opened the door to a small minivan setting Kyoko in a car seat in the front with her. A small cat dangling from the rearview mirror. Kyoko, stared at it, this was her first look at what a cat really looked like. Whether it was real or not, it amazed her. She couldn?t wait to get to the house and see real cats up close. By the time Kyoh got home, Kyoko was dozing off in her car seat, not wanting to wake her Kyoh took Kyoko into the house changing her into a night gown and put Kyoko in her bed. It was common for young children to wake up scared if they were in a room alone, especially if it was there first night in the place. Kyoh changed and came back to Find Kyoko fast asleep curled up with one of her cats. Aki, a tabby cat and another cat Kyo a white cat with orange spots curled up on Kyoh?s pillow. Kyoh smiled and slid into bed moving a sleepy Kyo over so that she could lay down. Kyoko spent the next few days learning the names off all the pets and her new siblings all of them older than her by quite a bit. On the second day Kyoko went out with Kyoh to a place where cats were adopted out. Kyoko found that a few cats there were being given to good homes, but they had to gain the cat?s trust. One cat worried Kyoko and she kept close watch over her. A scarlet red cats with a few white stripes on her. All the cats being given away had been abandoned and thrown into a river. The scarlet cat was cold, wet, and possibly very sick. Kyoh helped as much as she could with the cat, while a man Kyoh seemed to know helped as well. In the end Kyoh was told she could take the home. Kyoko was overjoyed at hearing that. Kyoh let her name the cat and Kyoko thought of a wonderful name she thought would fit the cat perfectly, Sacred. Kyoko took immense care of Sacred over the days, and Kyoko soon was allowed a few pets, which turned out to be, 5 cats, 2 rabbits and 2 foxes. All of which were given names. One of the cats a little black and white cat she named Hiei, she clung too dearly. He was her favorite of the bunch. More pets joined the family easily, Kyoh had a soft heart and a big enough house to take care of the growing population of animals the accommodated the house. Over that time Kyoko also met the Neko boy again, Tsuyoi, and became very close friends with him. Her first best friend. Around the beginning of November Kyoko and Kyoh attended an adoption day at the BKAC, a few children were there and a good many Kyoko already knew, many not very well though. Kyoh took in a boy slightly younger than Kyoko. His name was Asa Ryuki. But he preferred to just be called Asa. Kyoko took to him quickly, he was kind but he had a deep secret of his banishment from Hell. He?d fallen in love with an Angel and the two of them had been banished for that purpose. Asa still knew the angel. And him and Kyoko often saw her. Her named was Callista, she was a sweet red headed angel. Neither of them could recall much of their passed lives like Kyoko, but they had a few memories, which kept them close. Kyoko had only 2 or 3 memories. Ones of which she wished she didn?t remember. None of them were pleasant. And months passed, Kyoko grew only closer with Asa and newer family members including a young wolf boy, by the name of Huttser. He didn?t take to anyone very well but he slowly collected a close friendship with Kyoko. Time passed and still Huttser kept his distance though he did learn to tolerate a few people including Asa. But on her own Kyoko kept herself close to her best friend Tsuyoi. Usually if she couldn?t see him she?s call him using one of her mother?s home-made laptops. Tsuyoi had a laptop as well made by Kyoh, I?d been a gift for valentines day from Kyoko a mini version of a laptop though. Kyoko soon noticed things were changing around her, Kyoh started giggling and smiling a lot and soon a man a little younger showed up. His name being Sephiroth, though Kyoh usually called him Seph-kun. Kyoko never spent time with him alone, Kyoh was always with him, but it made her happy to Kyoh smiling so much, even with all the work she was busy doing.
