A recipe from TheKingRedoran Okay. I got a pancake recipe for you. I make this every Saturday, so you know it has to be yummy.
Dry Ingrediants 5/4 cups sifted self-rising flour (not all purpose) 1 Tablespoon white granulated sugar Pinch of baking powder (not baking soda) Pinch of salt
Wet Ingrediants 1 large egg 1 cup of cold milk (2% or higher is prefured by me. <3) 2 tablespoon vegtable oil
Mix the dry, then mix the wet, then mix the two together. Take care to not over-stir. Then, cook them up on your favorite stainless-steal grittle. (I guess it doesn't have to be a grittle, but that's what I use.)
OPTIONAL: Maple syrup!!! 2 cups of sugar 1 cup of water 1 teaspoon of real maple extract
Process: Put the water in a small pot on low heat. Then add the sugar, and stir until you can't see the crystals anymore. Then add the extract and stir. There you go. Now you don't have to pay for sucky syrup from the store. To add sasages to pancake mix Alright I did. I made sausage pancakes. And I like them. Alot.
To my previous recipe, all you have to do is add half a cup of your favorite sausage meat, cooked, beforehand. (make sure you take the skins of the sausage off if you're using store bought. I didn't use store bought though. 3nodding )
Make sure the sausage is ground nice and finely. then you add it to the batter then cooked it normally They take just a few seconds longer to cook than normal, but I figured they would, because they're slightly denser with the sausage in them.

SugarLeigh Well, it certainly doesn't count as a "recipe" per se, but I've found that adding ginger, honey, and cinnamon to Jiffy pancake mix tastes AMAZING. I'd list amounts but I usually kind of eyeball it. My Best Guess= it probably ends up being about two tablespoons of honey, somewhere in the league of not-quite-a-tablespoon of ginger, and then just liberally sprinkle cinnamon. Beat with mixer. Cook. Devour. Enjoy. (of course, by "pancakes" I usually mean waffles... oh how I love my waffle iron! if I want pancakes, I generally go to IHOP-- mmmmmm!)
