((This RP is for Vashtya and TormentedAngie (and their accompanying pokemon) only, since neither of us have had much time to date to RP them. So, we appreciate your consulting us before jumping into this RP. <3.
also, please note that there's a more detailed description of Vashtya's home in Shakti's journal, which is linked in my sig <3)).
Vashtya was sitting in the living room downstairs, reading a book on the care and training of houndour. Jyotika, while lovely, was turning out to be far from easy to train--in fact, she was downright crafty, since she'd cooperate when there was an apparent reward, but then do whatever she pleased when said reward wasn't tempting enough, or she was so inclined. Beside him on the couch Shakti's crystal was emitting a soft golden glow, muted, almost as if the crystal was at rest.
Since Vashtya had long-since opted against keeping her two pokes in their pokeballs, Flashfire was gnawing contentedly on one of the half-elf's bare feet, utterly enthralled by the occasional toe-wriggles that said feet performed as the gaian turned yet another page.
Jyotika, on the other hand, was staring at the pair almost disdainfully, still rather miffed at her encounter with the yellowish crystal only the night before--she'd tentatively gone to gnaw at the glowing object, only to be on the receiving end of a tongue-numbing pulse of electrical energy, which, with good reason, had left her decidedly irked with the glittering, semi-sentient...thing.
Vashtya was waiting for Angie to arrive, since the pair had agreed to take a trip into Durem to get some shopping done. That said, the gaian yawned sleepily--he wasn't usually awake until hours from now, and yet here he was, already dressed and ready to go--hopefully Angie wasn't going to be in a particularly chatty mood.

Angie trudge along the path from her home in the far reaches of Barton West Field, towards Vash's home. It wasn't the longest walk in the world, but enough to drive her nuts as she tried to keep her duo happy and on the same path as her. While she was looking forward to the shopping excursion, the idea of bringing her pokes along, especially Ramana in particular, was proving to be a sanity losing experience.
Rosey trudged alongside of Angie, simply happy to be going somewhere. The ponyta was proving to be a rather pleasant soul to have around, although at times even she had her moments. Being shy, the rose colored ponyta often had to be coaxed out of hiding when visitors arrived. At the moment though, she appeared to be quite happy going out for this walk, though it was most likely that she didn't know they were going to visit someone.
Ramani, being the smartalec growlithe she was, was off somewhere ahead, either trying to get lost, or trying to drive Angie nuts. Poking her nose into strange holes and trying to n** at other creatures along the road, she was definately asserting her noseyness. While she didn't always actively go in search of trouble as she was now, the white tiger growlithe did try and show Angie who was boss quite frequently. It wasn't that she didn't appreciate the care that her human companion gave her, it was more that she wanted to make sure the fox-girl knew just who was in charge. Pausing in her romping, the growlithe waited with the most appropriate look on her face, as if to say 'come on, you're taking way too long. Lets just get there already!'
It wasn't long before Angie arrived at the residence in question, shaking her head and slashing her tail from side to side in a rather...agitated fashion. It'd taken long enough to get here as it was, without the problems that faced her from the two very different pokes. She only hoped that Vash would excuse her tardiness with good nature, like he normally did.

With a grin, Vashtya got up even before Angie'd rung the bell--he could hear her outside, and besides, they were already running a little late...
Flashfire shot the half-elf a glare when he was abruptly dislodged from his chewing, but followed Vashtya towards the door--he'd heard the sounds of other pokes, unless he was sorely mistaken, and the prospect of meeting someone other than 'tika was enough to cause the growlithe to p***k his ears forward eagerly.
Rolling her eyes, Jyotika nonetheless got to her feet and followed a short distance behind Vashtya and Flashfire--it wouldnt' do to appear too eager, although she had to admit, even if only to herself, that she was curious to meet this Angie person...
Opening the door without even giving his longtime friend time to knock, Vashtya waggled his eyebrows mischieviously. "Did you get so caught up daydreaming about my sexy body that you lost track of time this morning?" he teased, eyes twinkling with his usual good humor.

Angie blinked, surprised as the door opened up instantly. She stood there, gawking at him in a goofy fashion, until she was shoved over by eager pokes. "I..I uhh Sorry we're late." Shaking her head, the fox-girl couldn't help but laugh at Vashy's remark. "Keep dreaming, Casanova. These guys...." she pointed over her shoulder, "haven't been the easist to keep on the path, you know."
Rosey hid behind Angie, peeking one eye out only to look at the other pokes. She wasn't sure what to think of these guys, and she trembled slightly. A part of her wanted to flee, but another part wanted to know who these other pokemon were.
Shrugging everything off, the white tiger growlithe yawned, lagging behind even still. There was so many more interesting things to do, than to hang out here talking like biddy hens. She was already bored and ready to let everyone know it. Crystal blue eyes glanced around, looking for something to get into.
Angie glanced down at both her charges and shook her head. "Ramani, don't even think about it..." The fox-girl had noticed a twinkle in the little pokemon's eye, which usually accompanied trouble. While she couldn't understand the little one, she'd seen enough of the 'trouble glance' to know that it wasn't good. Apologetically smiling at her friend Vash, she reached down to gently stroke the trembling ponyta, trying to calm her down. Oh boy, this day was already doomed, wasn't it?
