Horror movies, black, stripes, shiny things, buckles and zippers, poetry, nighttime, airplanes.
Dislikes:
Too much sun, optimistic people--optimism and people in general, the color yellow, zipper jams, short skirts.
Acrasia came into the Mitsu family in late August of 2004. She was cold, dark, antisocial, and seemed to want nothing but to hide in her room, reading and writing dark poetry and creepy stories. Her favorite authors have come to be Stephen King and Edgar Allen Poe. Apart from that, she eventually developed a love of nighttime, the supernatural, horror movies, and the color black. If she had had her way, her room would have been painted black.
Since her arrival, Acrasia's ice-encased heart has thawed a bit--but only slightly. She is somewhat social--her best friend is Ravenbrooke, another Banir Kinder, the daughter of Rune Traverse, but apart from her friendship with Raven and Rune's other children, she doesn't associate much with other Kinder, except to add snarky, often witty and sarcastic, but not especially nice comments. She lurks frequently in the background, watching other Kinder. Acrasia is under the impression that she is perfectly capable of being social, thinking she's learned enough from spying on her peers, but actually has little idea of where to begin. She would never admit this, however.

"Are you a goth?"
"Er...No." (Eloquent, right?)
"So what are you?"
"What do you mean?" (Highly dispassionate)
"So are you a punk, or what?"
"I don't label myself."
"Nonono, but what -are- you?"
"I don't label myself.
"But--"

Friends and Peers
Ravenbrooke Traverse - Raven is Acrasia's best friend. I think my friendship with Rune was what introduced them, and they got along really well. Raven is pretty much the only person, Kinder or not, whom Acrasia trusts. Nell and I would probably be second and third. Raven is decidedly more optimistic and social, whereas Acrasia goes along with 'the glass half-empty,' and is supremely awkward in most social situations.
Edward Spike Jet Bebop Traverse, a.k.a. Tex - As far is Acrasia is concerned, Tex is pretty cool. He has a mind capable of plotting dastardly deeds--at least, she thinks so--but they come out in the form of amusing by generally harmless pranks. Nell and Tex actually get along much better than Acrasia and Tex.
Shiran Traverse - Acrasia doesn't actually know Shiran quite that well yet, but I adopted Nell at the same time his sister Yumoa was adopted, so she's met him a couple times. Shiran is pretty fascinating to Acrasia and she would like to get to know him better when time permits.
