Fedha was in turmoil over his mother. He'd sneaked away from the sleeping Ausi for a little while, he could not be around her all the time. In fact, he hated being around the little squirt for even the shortest bits of time. But it was complicated, and not many would ever be able to understand this. His tail flicked as he moved through the tall grasses, eyes dull and gaze lingering in the direction of the west.
Was she truly dead? His left ear flicked and he slowly sat, tall and proud. And quite in a femminine manner, though who could blame him when he'd had two mothers? "Speak no feeling." He whispered out, the words quickly carried away by the barest hints of a hot, imagintive breeze.
He was also feeling uneasy, he needed to move forward in his god-plot... but something else was plaguing his mind. The role of seer... or perhaps even the genetics of seer. He wondered if Denge knew her family linage... though Ithi had been his true mother, so perhaps he should seek her out?

Bathsheba sat among the grasses, resting from he constant travels. Even a goddess grew tired once and a while. She leaned back on her haunches, letting out a slow and controled breath. Her goddess form was on full display, for she never hid it anymore. It felt too much like hiding and it wasn't something she was willing to do. So she folded her white wings against her side and relaxed her tense muscles slightly. But even so, her expression and posture remained refined and fine. The mortal realms was the last place she was going to act indignified, since her duty lay here and rarely anywhere else.

"The world grows heavy... and it makes you feel old." He smirked slightly and shook his head. Too long had he been in the Kusini lands; too long with dreamers and romantics... basically idiots. All of them. Too long had it been since he'd run into his own 'kind' or even a god, the gods in which he'd deemed himself worthy of being in the company with.
He rose after another moment and began to travel through the grasses again, a yawn slightly stretching his jaw. He began to walk again, no direction in mind. Ah, something was smiling on him (and perhaps quietly laughing) as he spotted the goddess not too far off.
He headed that way, in hopes of finding good company. Who knew what Fedha counted as good company, he didn't get along with many. "I was starting to think this place void of the gods' touch." He called to her, in way of greeting.

Sheba felt the muscles in her jaw tighten at the voice. It looked like her break was over. Resisting an un-lady like sigh she lifted her head and turned it slightly to look over her shoulder at the young lion coming her way, her braid trailing over her shoulder. Composure was written over her every feature. "No such place exists. Gods and goddess touch all places," she said in calm reply with a polite nod of her head. For example, she traveled in order to touch as many places as she could with her abilities and resonsibilities.

He was calm as he approached, no set emotion really in his face. His eyes was what kept all of the emotion in him -alas, they were still hiding all of those secrets though. "Ah, and how do you deem this so?" A slow grin spread onto his maw. It wasn't as if she kept track of all the other gods and goddesses, was it?

"Because all life is tied together," Sheba replied simply, only to elaborate with a delicate roll of her shoulders, a motion too fine to be casual, "Everything has an influence on everything else. And since gods rule over domains they rule over something that in turn influences the fabric of life. It is our universe's design. She blinked her violet eyes once as the look at him levely. "Why is it you seek the company of deities? I know most mortals tend to avoid such encounters unless they serve a specific god or goddess."

Well, at least she was intelligent. That was a nice, quick change of pace. But fedha would not argue the point that he thought some gods had abandoned some places. At least, they were waiting a hell of a time to touch those places once again.
"Mortals... are no fun." He declared, giving her a devilish smirk. "I avoid no god or goddess... To me they seem much better company than those not of my level." Let her ponder that herself.

"Not on your level?" Sheba said, raising an eyebrow, "That is rather arrogant. What makes you so much better then your peers?" She sounded disapproving of the idea. Realistically, she believed in equality among mortals and then equality among gods. It was impossible to put gods and mortals upon the same level, for in a way they were completely different species. But within that she believed all were on the same level, just with different qualities and abilities.

He sighed. Always in the end he had to spell it out, never could he have much fun with these word games. "I can behold the future, or past... and they can not. Simple." His tone was growing bored, and disappointed. His gaze moved off of the goddess and back toward the west. Had Ausi woken yet? Probably not.
"That sets me on a higher level, wether you care to admit it or not." It was true, sometimes other lions were better than him at things like hunting or racing... or making friends even. But never would they be better at preparing for what was coming than him. Unless of course they too were seers, but that was a different story.
"Fedha'Kialio." He added, as almost an after thought.

"Such things a trivial. The future is constantly changing, so it does you little good to see it-and seeing the past and present is unable to be changed anyhow. And there are many a lion or lioness who have gone insane from having such abilities. I see very little reason for you to think so highly of yourself," she said with cold simplicity. People like this lion annoyed her. For in her minds eye she saw neglected threads of duty, which only made his obvious personality seem more worthless. "There is no point of thinking yourself grand when you fail to do anything remotely so," she said after seeing his lines of duty with distaste.

His eyes flashed and his body grew slightly tense. "Some futures remain the same forever." Bits and pieces of future changed, yes. But he was sure the ability was worth while. His eyes narrowed ever so slightly. "I may think highly of myself for any reason I chose. It matters not to you what I think of myself, and not to me what you think of myself." He would be great, he would show her and the world.
"Ah, and perhaps you can give me lessons on 'doing grand things'" He spat out dryly.

"Those who do grand things to not meerly think of themselves," Sheba replied levely, not even seeming to flinch as he spat at her. Her composure was a sure shield to which insults could not penatrate. At least not such poor ones as these. "And since that is obviously the case for you I'm afraid I cannot teach you anything, nor can anyone else." She felt her wings shift slightly as she gave a small, almost unnoticable shrug.

Fedha shook his head slightly, obviously sure or himself and his opinion and way. His alone, for better or worse. "Well perhaps that is why I have not yet found myself a teacher." He rolled his eyes, but look! The little buggar had a sense of humor in him after all! Not that it mattered, it didn't appear that Sheba did.

No, it was very possible she didn't. Either that or she refused to show such a thing to one she thought so petty. And in all honesty, his joke wasn't that funny either. She kept her head level and her eyes fixed with politeness on him, but nothing more. She made no effort to keep the conversation going, since she felt it foolish anyway. "Yes, I'm sure that's quite true. I wouldn't look too hard, you won't find one." Her disinterest in him and this topic was obvious and she didn't try to hide it more then manners demanded.

Why did he have to hate the gods and love them so? They twisted his mind and tore it appart and he almost felt he could not live with himself while he was inneracting with them. "Probably not." He said, his voice just as bored as her own. "I am confident enough now that I believe I may be able to teach myself the things I need to know." He shrugged his shoulders as if it didn't matter, besides he was already growing more interested in seer spawn rather than himself. He could manipulate young minds, could he not?
"You gods.." He shook his head slowly. "Always have your tails tied in knots." He smirked and stood, stretching out his long, slimb limbs.
