Marmaduke wanders in. Mene was sleeping...homecoming was last night and she didn't get home until one in the morning... ((True story, folks.)) Olga'd gotten set to watching Nathaniel and Orpheus so Duke himself could go wandering around in the crisp October weather.

Thana was stretched out on her favorite spot in the whole room: The couch. Though, rather than be lying on her stomach like she usually did, today Thana was on her back, her paws rigid and stuck out towards the ceiling, her tail tip touching the back of the couch as it, too, was rigid. At the sounds of Marmaduke, Thana stopped breathing, giggling to herself about how perfect his timing was.
((I apologize for being late... ._. My lunch decided it didn't like my stomach anymore. And Keppit, thanks for posting. xD))

This worries Marmaduke, but he isn't the sort to get wound up about much of anything. He walks over to Thana and sniffs at her. Well. He'd just sit here for a bit and wait. She could just be playing with him (which he really wouldn't put past her), and if that was the case, she'd begin breathing here soon when she ran out of air. He quirks a smile and begins humming the Jeopardy theme quietly.

Thana's cheeks began to puff out as she forced herself not to breathe, but soon she was gasping for air and swatting out at Marmaduke.
"Cheater!" She said between laughs and gulps of air. It seemed Thana was rather hyper, well... For Thana, that is.

He just smiles at her. "How was that cheating?" he asks quietly, stepping up onto the couch and settling beside her.

Thana wrinkled her nose. She couldn't actually think of a reason why he was cheating, so she let it go and shrugged.
"Alright, I take it back. You're not a cheater." Then, she rolled onto her stomach, wrapping her tail around her lower body as she sat up.

"I'm glad. I'd hate to have that mark on my record," he says, smiling and nuzzling her gently. He wraps his own tail around her. "I feel very...festive," he comments.

Thana laughed, pressing his paw down with her own and shaking her head so that her ears fell lopsidedly over her head.
"So do I! Sorta... restless, y'know? And hyper. Very, very hyper."

He smiles. "I meant me. I feel like a pumpkin." He unpins his paw and starts wrestling with her. Gently, of course. Dun wanna break her or somethin'...

"Ohhh." As realization flooded over Thana, she laughed, yelping as they began to wrestle. She swatted lightly at one of Marm's ears, fully enjoying their playful moments.

Snorting, Thana stuck out her tongue at him, then laughed and kissed his chin lightly.
"Fine, you win... This time." Then, she winked, butting her head up against his with a playful twitch in her tail.

Thana followed him up onto the couch, still giggling softly over their playfight. She stretched out beside him, pressing her side up against his before softly asking him a random question that had popped into her mind.
"Marm... Do you have any siblings?"
