Personally I now hate Owen cause he cheated on Gwen while Gwen is cheating on her boyfriend whose name I forget. Plus he's just plain cocky and an idiot. Personally, this is my opinion.

i know what you mean. Me and my friends Erin and Abby were major Owen and Gwen shippers when they started out. We were all devistated when we saw the trailer for Out of Time, and then when i saw it, i wanted to slap him really really hard. lol.
Btw.. Her boyfriends name is Rhys. smile

ahh i think they were as Owen put it just 'F*** buddies' lol but i wonder wat will happen when rhys finds out next week maybe we'll get some bloodshed...but i doubt it cos hes been paid for an entire series lol

Agreed! Owen's a t**t.
Episode just gone was probably designed for us to generate a little sympathy for him (falling in love, then having it ripped from him and rubbed in his face) - but really!! He's a scallywag playboy, who I daresay deserves what he got!
And I hope Rhys whollups him one!

NOO! Owen shouldn't get killed! Okay he was cheating on Gwen with Diane but Gwen was having an affair with Owen while she was with Rys. So it's really Gwen that should get in the neck for that! Lol
As for him being cocky, I think that's what makes Owen, Owen! Kinda a split personality thing, he can be really human like when he tries to comfort Gwen in ep. 13 but then there's the "cocky", somewhat normal, Owen.
If wasn't for Owen the finale wouldn't have been as good. He wouldn't have shot Jack, I don't think anyone else would have. And Emergency Protocol 1 wouldn't have been able to be activated, I believe his pupils would have not dialated but changed in some way when he had died. Therefore Abbadon wouldn't have been released.

I didn't like him from the start. All my friends did, but now looks who's laughing!
But he gives Torchwood that annoying, hateable character that we all love.

Owen has grown a lot from the first episode. And in the first episode he admitted that he was a t**t.
