I'm having a dilemma on which one to get. I would love some input on which one you think is better. Also could you give me some really good game titles for both? Thanks biggrin

Heh PSP owners and DS owners constantly clash over this one.
I am a DS owner. I cant speak for PSP I eventually plan on getting one but ive been really lazy about getting one mainly because not many games have come out for it that interest me but some are coming out.
Right Now i would have to say I absolutly love my DS. There are alot of great games out there for them no matter who you are.
Trauma Center Castlevania Portriat of Ruin & Dawn of Sorrows Final Fantasy III Animal Crossing Mario Kart DS Metroid Prime Lunar Children of Mana
list goes on and on..

I'd personally get a DS because it is aimed more for gaming. PSP seems to be a general movie/music type of technology, thus the DS will have a greater variety of games.
DS has games such as Nintendogs, Crash Bandicoot, the new Pokemon soon, and of course, the Mario genre.

I love my DS! I got it for hannaka a few nights back and me and my friends are already haveing clashes on who is better at mario kart every morning xd
as for the PSP, my sister can vouch for it.
She says that she wants it for it's internet access and bacicly a few random games that peek her intrest. (( one called "Daxter" a game about Daxter's side of Jack and Daxter is really all she wants ))
I personaly won this clash with my mom and we both got DSes for hanaka.

You should definately get a DS. PSPs are nice and you can do alot of nice stuff with them but the catch is you have to BUY the parts so you can do all the nice stuff. Now if you are rich and have money thats no prob. But when you dont, well u know.

PSPs try to do a lot of things without specializing in any of them. You can watch movies on them, listen to music, and apparently access the internet, but you can do pretty much the same things on the average cellphone these days, so why would you want to pay the couple hundred bucks to get a PSP as well? As for the movies it can play, unless you go on road trips all the time, that's pretty useless. I much rather wait until I can watch it at home. Then we come to the main reason to actually buy the system, the games, and what do you find? A bunch of uninteresting titles, most of which have been done better, or could have been done better, elsewhere.
PSP tries to do everything well, and pretty much fails, which is why it's been struggling to make sales. Struggling so much it's taken part in viral marketing. Which is a shame, because I'm usually a Playstation girl myself, but I can see them loosing this round.
The DS, on the other hand, is innovative and interesting. The games are mostly great, and the stylus is something we've never seen before. Nintendo, for all of its struggles competing with the Gamecube, is now in the forefront and taking us in whole new gaming directions that we've never really even considered before. So, basically....Get the DS.

I am a DS owner and I want a PSP. PSP's have all of the cool features, but they don't have the games that the DS has. Everyone has the DS and that means more people have your game, which means more fun. I myself will only get a PSP because my friend is gonna give me a shopping spree if I do. Get the DS. Much better choice.

It depends I guess...
PSP is not really that reliable. If you want to play games, have a good fuction of music and movies. Get the PSP.
But if you want to have mainly just games, DS is for you.
I had a dilemma about it, I didn't get any in the end... didn't need it...
I'd suggest DS since it's cheaper and not much of a hassle.
