 Ever since moving from the ocean, Hidaya was missing her friends already and was quite sad at the fact she hadn't met anyone here yet.
However, hopefully today was to be different.
She's grown immensly, her paws already the size of her mothers despite being a cub and looked as though she would be a very strong female.
But never the less, she was still the happy go lucky little charming cub she always was.
And was even trying to become a beautiful singer like her mother.
As she trecked through the golden long grass of this new, unknown place, she couldn't help but watch as the strange prey animals that passed by gave her a strange glance or two.
What was wrong with them?
You'd think they never saw a cub before.

Large white paws, the size of which hadn't been seen on a mortal in the longest time, treked across the grasslands slowly. The long grass barely touched Khepri's white underbelly thanks to her sheer size, but the ex-firekin female didn't really mind it so much that it was touching her, the only thing that she cared about was how often others stared at her for her godly size. So she was large? Who cared.
As the largest Firekin in existance, the female definietly drew some stares in a world that wasn't hers, in a world that wasn't the desert. Stares turned into shocked horror when she spoke, making Khepri into a meek lioness despite her evident size and stature.
It wasn't like she was any different, she was out on a quest like many liones did, she was looking for something like many others did. ninja

As the little female explored, she crawled up on a large stone that was normally seen around these parts, about the size of a full adult male lion atleast.
Her large paws gently padded against the sun baked stone before she sat atop it and looked around at the landscape.
A very prominant sight to behold.
It's not very often you see a pink creature around here.
However something caught her eye aswell, a lioness.
And a BIG one too!
She was bigger then daddy!
She had to smile however as she saw her.
"Hi!" She called out.

Sharp ears caught the bellowed word from the.. bright... pink cub over to her right. It wasn't as if she didn't meet others out on the savannah, in fact she met them all the time. However, pink was a new color of lion... or whatever that female was... for her to meet.
"Hi yo'rself." Khepri said playfully, a smile on her large face as she stopped and turned to face the other. "Wha're yo' doin' ou' 'ere all by yo'r lonesome little'un?"
Her speach was slurred... like usual.

The little female blinked at the way the older lioness talked, but still smiled.
She liked how different she was.
And such a vivid colour! Like a flame!
At the playful tone, she knew she had nothing to fear.
She had never been told of the Firekin and was still so young and so innocent.
But at the question of the lioness, little Hidaya simply smiled, her tail swaying back and forth happily behind her.
"I'm not alone! Me and my mommy and my daddy moved here to explore!" She said sweetly.
"My names Hidaya, what's your name?"

A smile spread over Khepri's white muzzle and something inside of her settled back down where it was supposed to be. She didn't quite know what that was, though if she'd asked any other mother lioness they'd have told her it was concern and motherly instinct.
And it made sense, Khepri hated to see little cubs all alone in the world, she probably would have adopted Hidaya on the spot had she been alone, though she was rather glad she didn't have to now at least.
"Aah, tha's good ta know little'un." Khepri said in a bright tone, sitting down and grabbing a little piece of grass to drop on the little creature's head. "Hidaya? Tha's pretteh, wha's it mean?"
Her smile was disarming, like always.
Stop faking.
You're just a shell for us.
One of these days you'll learn you stupid female.
The voices simply caused her to flick one ear gently before answering with, "Yo' cin call meh Khepri."

The tiny hybrid simply watched the large lioness, smiling at her, she had a lovely personality.
Maybe other people around here where as nice as she was!
Apart from those little animals that stared at her funny!
Either way, the little one blushed, only slightly as she asked what her name meant.
"Uhmm, it means beautiful, miss Kherpi." She said, for once, not calling someone a nickname.
To Hidaya, she looked like a flame, an inferno.
Her colour made her happy.
"What does your name mean?"

The smiling on the pink female's face made Khepri chuckle and let a brighter one slide over her own. Cubs were somehow sweeter than any adult ever was.
"Don' call meh 'miss', Ah'm not tha' old yet." Khepri said with a deep chuckle. "Mah name means 'mornin' sun'" She said smoothly, her muzzle turning slightly as she walked towards the pink little cub and sniffed her gently. "No offense... but wha' are ya?" Her eyes sparkled and she licked her paw and flattened Hidaya's little ruff on her head out so it wasn't sticking straight up anymore. Sometimes Khepri was glad she was bald.
