Back Story: Paige was the accidental result of a short lived affair between her Scottish mother and her French father, a wealthy executive who frequently did business in the UK. Soon after her birth, She was adopted and raised by her father’s family which consisted of His wife and their three children. Resentment of the affair from her stepmother created a distance between Paige, her step mother and Paige’s two half sisters. Her father, although affectionate was for the most part preoccupied with his career.
Her closest bond is with her eldest half-sibling, a brother named Cedric who is ten years older than Paige. Cedric had been very close to a fourth sibling, an older sister who died before Paige’s birth. Paige and Cedric formed a particularly tight bond, through which Paige was spared most of the suffering that would arise from her dysfunctional family life. She was completely devoted/emotionally dependant on her Brother.
Refusing to have any pride in his family’s wealth, the good-natured but still rebellious adolescent Cedric fell in with a group of alternative modern bohemian youths. Both siblings took up an interest in the performing arts and Paige began her education and
training as a dancer. Cedric was an aspiring actor and musician.
Following a happy and uneventful childhood, the foundations of Paige’s world were blown apart when Cedric, in defiance of his father, abruptly left the country in persuit of an acting/musical career. The then 14 year old Paige was devastated by her Brother’s departure and managed to remain at home with his family for only two more years when she dropped out of school and began to support herself with a dancing career. Many of her brother’s friends still encouraged her presence amoungst their group, although they could provide little support financially. At best, they could only promote her talents to small theatres and performing arts companies.
While she has little time between making ends meet, Page remains ever hopeful that she will be reunited with Cedric.
