Zyanya was allowed to wander away from her mom and her older brother but had to wear the watch loaned to her by Jay and make sure she was back at the entrance by a certain time. Zyan mildly paid attention as she wondered away from the extinct wild life exihibit to go and fine the fine arts section.

Animal's barely interested her, but art did. Perhaps she could find an aritist or painting she could show Narayan. She inwardly winced thinking his name. Yah her mom forbid her to come in contact with the boy again saying that such perverted things should not be discussed in front of her at such an age...yaddiyadiyada. She knew she would ignore that rule, and besides she said she would see him agani once she grew boobs. So....she needed to do that first.

Wandering down an isle she hoped to find something interesting quickly...the museum was fairly boring otherwise.

Canti was a good kid, really he was. Even though the boy were near to causing a scene, his intentions were pure enough. Sharp scuffing on the tile nearby signaled the struggle- a short brunette teen hunched over black and flailing limps near a roped-off area surrounding works of pottery and sculpture.

"You can't," The man was whispering, albeit loudly, "You're not allowed to touch."

"It is dusty, Lu! The color is eaten away!" The ant didn't really comprehend why they were talking so lowly, struggling in his father's hold every now and then but to no avail. How could Lucas really understand what he was getting at, though? Until he'd come along, the dust in their two story house had built itself thick enough to become a blanket. The house was still a dusting project. Thankfully, he was a bit taller now, and the higher places would be more accessible.

"You just...can't." The photographer replied, a bit lamely. "You might break one of them, and then you'd get in trouble. See that red rope? That means you keep out of there. I'm sure someone will come to clean... Can you just look for now, bud? Please?"

The insect slumped somewhat, eying the collection of pottery with silent mourning. Well, if it was meant to be pretty, it was going to waste. "Yes..." He couldn't stand looking at it anymore, fingers twitching compulsively towards his back pocket where he usually would keep a duster of some sort. It wasn't there today -Lucas had not allowed him to leave with it- but rather shoved in his shoe and up his pants leg. "May I be looking at the paintings?" If they looked smudged, he could convince himself they were supposed to be that way at least. The restraining arms left, allowing the child to straighten a bit.

Lucas faltered for a moment, running his latex-covered fingers over the camera at his neck. "Well alright, but stay where I can see you, alright? If anyone tries to grab you, bite and scream for help, okay?" Right. Like that would really stop anyone. Canti was likely to be coaxed off, or at least that was what Lucas believed, by anyone with a nice face. Hazel eyes watched the boy's back worriedly as the ant began to make his way off, silently wondering if he was making the right choice. His camera was lifted silently, and the photographer halfheartedly turned back to the exhibit that he had come to photograph before the whole ordeal began.

Zyanya stopped to look at a painting probably not the actually one but a replica of the 'The Scream' and wondered breifly why anyone would paint something so horrid looking. Really she didn't understand how half of this stuff was considered art.

A great big red line down the center of a canvas was considered art? She rubbed her neck idly wondering if perhaps she would be able to do something so simple and yet be famous for it. Nah it would probably be Nara who would become a famous painter. Serious she had never seen so many nakid women in her life, no wonder Nara liked them. They were practically famous.

Chewing on her bottom lip she was staring at a fairly plump yet fully breasted nakid woman who was lying in a park with two clothed gentlemen and a woman was playing nakid in the water behind them. She was confused at why the men were clothed but the women were nakid.

She didn't noticed anyone around her she was so absorbed in the painting she was pratically oblivious.

One room to another, Canti found the classical paintings section, where paintings lined as much of the wall as they could while each under their separate lighting. It was so the original colors of the painting would stay the way they were- Lu had told him that! And even though a few had a bit more dust clinging to them than the ant would approve of, he made a spectacular display of containing himself. As he walked along, he sunk his teeth lightly into his lower lip, trying to ignore the tickling the feather-duster stuck into his shoe and hidden up his pants-leg was causing.

And then he came upon a rather colorful person, in his opinion, across the gallery. Something inside of him jumped at the thought of meeting another person, and discussing something. They looked about his age, too. What was more, they had antennae! If that couldn't be a conversation-starter, he didn't know what was!

Upon approaching his fellow insect, however, he became aware of just what the painting she was currently looking at entailed. If an ant could blush and have it visible... "Um," He began wittily, a little thrown off, "Are you allowed to be looking at that?" Was the question almost whispered to her as Canti stepped beside Zyanya in a way that suggested he was almost familiar with her.

Zyanya caught off her gaurd turned her head to look over at the new voice. A boy about her age, with an extra set of arms mind you was speaking to her. He was a bug, her preditor like instinct made the sudden decision that based on his type he was prey.

Supressing this said urge she looked away from him and back to the painting. Her antenna twitched.

"Well, why wouldn't I be allowed to look? It isn't like they have sections roped off for older people. I would assume that it being 'art' everyone is allowed to look." She said with an appreciative nod.

"Besides, a friend of mine wants to paint like these people, so I can't see what could be wrong about it." she said with a nod thinking back to Narayan.

Finally her gaze was pulled back to the ant boy. A sly smile slid onto her face, "Hey I don't believe we have met before." she said turning to face him fully, "I am Z." she said with a wave of her hand.

"and you?"

It was odd, the waves being emitted from this girl now. He hadn't even seen her before, but suddenly he felt a little queasy. However, he ignored it, the long stems of his own antennae bobbing a bit. Instead he focused on her words, considering her words before slowly looking back towards the painting. She did have a point- he had climbed no ropes to get here!

"That is... good." He offered, not really sure how he felt about the naked females on the painting. They looked so... squishy! And drawing pretty things, making them look squishy... it was probably hard! Hm. Maybe he could admire such things.

"No, you are right. I would have been remembering other 'tenna!" Canti agreed, nodding slightly. Smiling warmly, he held out one of his right hands for her to shake, "I am Canti! Nice to be meeting you, Z!" Z was also a really hard letter to right. It was the hardest next to S.

Looking at the said hand she used one of her extra legs to let him shake it. There was something tantalizing about Canti, though it was neat seeing another with antenna like herself the fact he had an extra set of arms made him fairly interesting as well.

She had the sudden urge to pounce and wrestle him right there and then, he surely must be good at such things. With so many arms anyway. She did however take a few more steps to get closer to him as if wanting to keep herself in good striking range.

"All the women are big in these..." she pointed out, and they were. The standard of beauty had indeed grown shallower as the years had passed, and plump women were no longer the thing of beauty of today.

She took another side long step towards him, now basically standing right beside him. Her atenna reached over to touch Canti's head. As if making sure that Canti was actually prey material.

The smile he gave her back was almost painful to preform. However, he managed it, inwardly disappointed at himself as something deep within would have liked to shove her away and be rude. Unconsciously, he was beginning to stand a little taller, his upper shoulders rolling and pulling themselves back some. He would never be a very tall, or a very strong-looking boy, and this much was clear now. However, his innate response to her was making him try to grow.

"And dusty." He suddenly put in, glancing shyly to the painting once again. He wondered if his parent would approve of him looking at the squishy, fleshy women...

Glancing up as she stepped closer, his antennae reared all on their own as his head was searched by the other pair. Not as long, but a bit thicker, the black stalks upon his head brushed lightly over the more wiry pair, delicate before they lightly pressed at their undersides to push them back. 'Hello!' They communicated, 'I'm happy to see you, but I don't know you that well!' It was very polite- he was trying to hide his unease. This was so strange for him...

What and odd thing for the boy to say. At least that was what Zyanya thought about his comment about it being dusty. She took another long look at the image and then gave a curt nod of her head.
“Yah...guess I never noticed that before. But it is a museum...I think they collect dust here.” she added before her side legs reached out to basically wrap from behind the little ant. Like a hug, onlyit seemed a bit too friendly for a first meeting.

Her antenna had been surprised at the contact the communication it understood, but Zyan wasn't one to really control what her antenna said back to the poor ant. This being the first time she really used the things. Her delicate antenna stroked his basically saying something along the lines of.: Hello...you look good enough to eat. Of course the mantis girl had no idea that was what her antenna were sending across to the ant, her large eyes pulling away from the painting to lock back onto the ant.

Her legs had by this time managed to wrap around Canti in an very awkward hug as she pulled him closer to herself.

Canti was beginning to make a response, but it seemed to die away in his throat as the arms wrapped more and more around him. She was just being friendly! Right? Then why did he feel as if he needed to kick and scream and try to bite her just so he could run away? He was scaring himself, a fine tremble developing across the expanse of his exoskeleton.

One leg lifted up as he was practically made to lean into her, and he could feel his lower arm slide in and take the feather duster in hand. He laughed shortly, nervously. One of his hands pressed itself to her chest, his antennae snapping away at the strange stroking. "What are you doing, Z?"

Zyanya paused, she blinked at him a couple of times and then puffed out a cheek haughtily. "Fine way to speak to a lady giving you a hug." She snapped not exactly sure herself why she had gotten so close but felt the need to be angry cause Canti wasn't enjoying her company. Sliding herself free of the boy she crossed her arms over her chest in annoyance.

"You carry that dusty thing everywhere with you?" She asked ina growling manner.
