So I'm sitting here eating my nachos when I find out that I've been accepted into this guild! HOO-RAY!
Thought I'd put up a little intro post about myself to get acquainted with everyone. I'll try to be active. whee
Sophomore in college, majoring in English. My focus is Children's Literature.
I attribute the fact that I wear glasses to all of the late-night hours I spent reading books... upon books, upon books! That is, when I wasn't outside causing a ruckus. My favorite characters tend to act like myself when I was younger. The Weasley twins, Gilbert Blythe, and lots more.
Erm... who else has had a crush on a character in a book!? wink

I'm actually going to meet the twins who play the Weasley twins in the Harry Potter movies. I love conventions. smile
I can't say I've had any crushes on characters. I'm most likely in denial.

Fairgrass I wanted to marry Erik from The Phantom of the Opera when I first read it. And when I second read it. And third and fourth ... I always preferred Raoul, actually. I'm like the only person in the universe that likes Raoul from both the book and from the movie. Lessee... I can't remember specifically Every single shy nerdy person in every single book.

Finbar from the Sevenwaters trilogy
Remus Lupin of the Harry Potter series
Will of the Kissed by an Angel trilogy
Pie 'oh' pah of Clive Barker's Imajica
Legolas in Lord of the Rings (right after Aragorn!)
Also some miscellaneous characters in books like Fear Street and other teen thrillers, although I can't remember some of the names right off. They always seemed to die, unless they were dead already.

I've always had a crush on Sirius Black both human and dog version before and after what happened to him in the 5th book. It made me sad, but my love for him still lives on. heart

The first time I read Lord of the Rings, Pippin was so cool.
