The mostly black female strolled slowly towards the cooling waters of her little pool, tail waving in an attemp to fan herself cooler. "Ugggggg, damn this black fur." She groaned, ears lain back and nose wrinkled in anguish. She sat for a moment at the water's edge and admired her own reflection, then stood and dipped her front left paw into the water, as if testing it.
"Hmmm." She murred rather apathetically and then waded into the water slowly, waving her tail still, though perking her ears and sighing contently as the surprisingly clean-looking water surrounded her body, cooling her off. "Ahhhhhh...." She trailed off, closing her eyes and tilting her head back, then closing her eyes and going under the water for a moment, coming back up and then shaking herself off. "Much better..." She trailed off again, taking a few more steps and then starting to paddle as her paws left the sandy bottom of the pool.

So he was far from home, half the time he wasn't sure that it mattered. Athrun had told him to go far from home to find what he would need to know. So here he was, wandering towards the ocean like the idiot that he was. Becuse THAT was far from home, oh so very far from home was the ocean.
"AAAAKAAAA!" Isis howled in his now remaining good ear, as she'd blown the eardrum from the other one he was almost positive, and bounced up and down on his collar that adorned his thick neck. "When are we gonna get to the ocean?! I'm bored!"
"Will you shut yer trap, Isis?" The wolf glared back at her with a brown eye and lifted his muzzle from his sharp teeth slowly.

The female perked her ears as a tiny voice, though yelling rather annoyingly, came to them, and then looked around, still paddling to keep herself above the surface. "What was that?" She asked herself, turning towards the shore a little and paddling hard, not wanting to be in the middle of the pool if someone were to arrive.
As she reached the shore, she again shook herself, though this time more thoroughly, large ears flopping about as she shook, then stopped, fluffing her tail so it didn't look like a skinny little rat-tail or something. The black wolf gave a small snort and then looked about again, beginning to lose her patience with whatever it was that was nearing.

Breaching the branches into a very small clearing just as a female maned wolf appeared from the little pool in the middle of the clearing, Akamichi almost fell over all four of his white paws and widened his eyes in slight appal. It wasn't that he meant to be rude, quite the opposite actually.
"Er.... Sorry?" Aka said at last, faltering over his own tongue at the pretty black female before him. Of course he didn't know who she was or what she was doing here, he just knew his own reasons and didn't quite even care for hers.
"Oh wow.... she's pretty!" Isis babbled from Aka's shoulder instantly, causing Aka to slump almost as instantly.

Grinning and fluffing up her chest a little, the black wolf rerclined to her haunches and tilted her head at the both of them cutely. "Why thank you." She beamed, wagging her tail happily and blushing a little, though you couldn't tell through the orange on her cheeks. "I'm Sternklar. What's your name cutie?" she asked, grinning wider at the little meerkat and then looking at the other wolf out of the corner of her eyes.
She wagged her black tail a little more and then looked around a moment, then over herself, to make sure everything was in order, and she didn't look like an idiot with a messy spot of fur or something horrid of the likes.

It took a minute for the bright red and white male not to choke on his words and manage to get them out. She was really quite pretty wasn't she? Or maybe that was just him?
"Um... Akamichi, but you can call me Aka if you'd like?" He stuttered after a moment, watching her eyes flick back and forth between himself and Isis.
Aka of course looked like an unrully wreck... like always. He was never out to impress anyone so his white was almost tan from all the mud and dust and his fur was ragged from unkempt. Isis on the other hand glowed thanks to her tongue and her innate need to clean.

A small, slighty cold laugh came from the female. "Oh no. I was talkling to the meerkat." She managed to squeeze out as she giggled uncontrollably. Her ears were lain back, though her expression was an incredibly amused one, and the more she tried to stop laughing, the funnier it seemed. She snorted in her laughter, tail wagging and tongue lolling as she giggled still, wishing that she could stop, since she was beginning to feel bad for laughing at him. Sure, he was cute too, but...it wasall too funny.
She spluttered a little and gave one last little giggling snort, then managed to catch a straight face and coughed a few times, flicking her ears forth and looking at him seriously. "I'm sorry..." She said, holding back more giggles, though a rather large grin broke her serious expression.

Instantly his red ears fell and Aka blushed furiously, suddenly getting his old gruff demenor back despite how attractive he found the female. He walked right up to her so that his shoulder was next to her lower back, even though 'next to' was more like 'towering over' thanks to Akamichi's size.
All he'd really wanted when he'd come in this direction was water, now he was being laughed at... fantastic.
"It's fine." He said simply.
"Oh! You were talking to me? Awsome! Cuz I think you're really pretty!" Isis babbled, her one remaining front leg waving and moving from her normal habit of movement.

Sternklar huffed in frustration and then picked up the little meerkat quickly, placing her on the ground in front of her black paws, and then shoved the male into the water, growling a little. "Jerk." She said, snorting and then laying next to the meerkat and grinning at her a little. "Sorry, but he deserved that." She said quietly, huffing and swishing her tail, ears lain back as she prepared to watch amusedly.

Instantly Aka was plunged into the water and freaked. He didn't know how to swim at all, he couldn't touch the bottom and he didn't know how to swim. The male thrashed under the water, unable to get his legs to work in order to get back up to the surface but it didn't work at all. His lungs swelled up painfully and he rolled over under the water, hoping for something to work as mud was kicked up all over the place.
Isis widened her eyes and flailed her only good arm as she watched Akamichi get shoved into the water. Panic surrounding her motions and voice. "He can't swim!" She squeaked unhappily as she watched mud start to get kicked up from her 'father's' furious motions.

Sternklar frowned and then got up, moving towards the water a little. "Well...he deserved it..." She muttered, jumping into the water after him anyways. She didn't want him to completely hate her after all. Everyone was required to love her. And this wasdn't helping. "I'm sorry....how was I supposed to know he couldn't swim?" She said, looking at the meerkat, then turning back to him, paddling hard towards where he went under, then diving for him. She grabbed the thick fur that she knew was his scruff and then pulled upwards as hard as she could, though it didn't take much effort, considering they were both almost weightless under water.
As they breached surface, the mostly black female was sure that the red and white wolf was still breathing just fine, he'd just panicked too much. She pushed him to the shallow water and then sat in it on her behind, beside him, watching him carefully. "I'm sorry....I didn't know." She said, laying her ears back apologetically.

Heaving from the shock of suddenly not being able to breath at all, Akamichi shoved himself to his feet and glanced down as dirt ran down his white fur slowly with the water.
"It's okay... I guess I really did need a bath after all. I just wish I knew how to swim so that didn't keep happening." The maned wolf was angrier at himself for not being able to keep things like that from happening.
Isis immediatly attached her small body to Aka's front leg and made huge watery eyes up at him, though he simply frowned down at her gruffly. She was his adopted daughter, but that didn't mean he was happy being clung to.

"Well you did deserve it. And now...you know better than to be like that to girls. I guess you just haven't met very many have you?" She said, then inquired, quirking curiously. "Oh well. Excuse me for being rude. I guess it was kinda uncalled for..." She trailed off, circling around him, scoffing a little at the dirt, and then reclining to her haunches in front of him, confused by the meerkat clinging to his leg.

Frowning deeply at the female for a moment before sighing and walking out of the water to shake himself off, Aka chuckled.
"No.. I've met my fair share of females, but only in passing and the last was... out of her mind." Aka said gently, blinking his two toned eyes softly, "and that's putting it lightly. Not to mention my last mate who went nuts..."
He trailed off at that, head in the air and eyes listless for a faint moment.

Ewwwww, last mate. Sternklar shook her head. Maybe not...She let her thought trail off and then stared back down at the meerkat. "I see. Was your last mate a meerkat?" She inquired rudely, giggling a little. "Because I could see the problem there..." She trailed off, laying her ears back again and then swishing her tail.
"Anyways. Do you eat? You look scrawny..." She inquired, trailing off, again, and then poking at his tummy with an extended paw.
