Hi there,
I'm Dottie the Dyejob, introducing myself to this wonderful guild that I was glad to have found and accepted into . .
I am an old lady on Gaia (21) living in California. Fairly new to Gaia but I've taken to it. It's very easy to be here whilst at work!
According to my older sister, I've been a Boingo fan since infancy and would do a little retard-baby dance when she put on her records. And of course, I was born into worshipping the Burton/Elfman union, my very first favorite movie being Pee Wee's Big Adventure.
Though I absolutely love the great expanse and variety of Boingo's stuff, my favorite album remains Only a Lad.
So, how's everyone doing? whee

Hi, dyejob! I'm Sally. whee (I guess I'll introduce myself, too. xP)
Sally is an ittle 15 year old person in Iowa. >< Boring. I guess I first learned about Danny Elfman from the Nightmare Before Christmas (I think that's where I learned about Oingo Boingo, too. It says it on the back of the DVD, doesn't it? @_@). Anyway, I think I was in 9th grade when I started getting really obsessed. That was only last year. I'm a newb. xP I think my favorite album is Dead Man's Party.
I'm doing good! xD How are you?

Well, the "Introduce Yourself Thread" and the "Welcome" thread were kind of... one. But, this makes it even more explicit, so huzzah! Yuh can call me Totro. I'm not going to disclose my age, but I've been a Boingoloid for... two years, I believe. Two and a half, I guess. I remember last year everyone shy'd away from me, because they knew that if they got too close to me I'd start going on about something Boingo-related. Favorite album? I suppose.... gosh, I could never choose... Favorite song is Dead Man's Party, though. Mostly for sentimental reasons. It was the first Boingo song I ever heard. whee
Welcome to the guild, DyeJob!

'Ello, DyeJob! They call me Kaijou. Velcome to the Guild! whee
I've been a fan since 6th grade (so that would make it 4 years, and still going) and I gotta say my favorite album is probableeeeeeee.....ah, screw it - it's a tie between Dead Man's Party, So-Lo, and Boi-Ngo (which btw, had a much better title going for it back in the day, but alas was changed when it was recorded and sold rolleyes )

Tada! Now there is one!
17, fan since I was twelve. Favorite album would have to be Only a Lad, but the others rock my socks too. My first Burton film was Frankenweenie, and my first Burton/Elfman was Beetlejuice. I also had the luck to see Nightmare in theatres, and I watched Edward Scissorhands every weekend when I was younger. I've had the pleasure to meet the boys, minus Danny.
Welcome aboard!

Hello! I'm Georgia, and I'm 15, and I'm also the only Oingo Boingo fan for miles and miles where I live, so that's why I love guilds like this! I've been a Boingloinoid for two years, but I've crammed so much Boingo madness into those few years that it feels like a much longer time I've been obsessed. The word "Lumpling" has been recognized as a regular Georgia vocabulary word by my friends and teachers. I don't celebrate Halloween, I mourn the death of Boingo. My sketchbook is filled with designs and story ideas for a Boingo-inspired comic I've been working on for a while now. I plan to start my own tribute band to the mischevious tunes of Danny and the gang.
Thanks for allowing me to introduce the Boingo side of me! See you all around the guild! whee

My common names are Ammy or Wolfie, so you can take your pick. I'm 22 (^^ and a half) but some might say I never really grew up. I suppose my first Burton/Elfman movie was Pee-wee's Big Adventure, but my favorite movies growing up were Beetlejuice, Batman, and Edward Scissorhands. I watched "Beetlejuice" the cartoon all the time, I was a little obsessed.
I have been a fan of Boingo for longer than I can remember. I know that Dead Man's Party was the song that hooked me when I was very, very little. (I was a year old when that album came out, and have been listening to it on the radio since, whether I remember the early years or not.)

Hello! I'm Kait. I've been a fan of the awsomeness that is the Burton/Elfman pair as long as I can remember. That's how I first came to know who Danny Elfman is, and through Elfman obviously Oingo Boingo. I don't know so much about Oingo Boingo as I do about Elfman's movie score's but I do enjoy the music I've heard very much, and am very willing to learn much more about them. I was very excited to learn about this guild! 3nodding

Hey, I'm Lauren.
You know that point in your life, around your teen years, where you started recognizing the difference between things you love, and things that you were forced to? That happened to me three years ago, when both my grandmothers died. It may have been because I lost two of the people I loved most in the world, I don't know, but I went through all the things that I thought I loved and realized I never really cared. All that Disney stuff your parnets spoon fed you as a child, never really meant anything. And that's when I came to the collection of Tim Burton movies I had. I couldn't part with them. I watched them over and over; they made me feel good.
That was my gateway to Danny Elfman, and I've been a fan ever since. His music has the same effect on me.
I could never choose my favorite album, but my favorite songs are Insanity and Little Girls.
