Race: Kodama (A Forest Spirit—it also means echo)
Age: 91
Appearance
Hibiki is a young looking boy, only 5’4” in height. He has a tangled bunch of short mulch colored hair on his head that is frequently cluttered with twigs and leaves. His piercing green eyes constantly explore his surroundings. His tanned and always dirty skin—along with his hair—would imply that he was unclean and had just been crawling across the ground. But his shirt and shorts are simply knit white articles of clothing a bit too big for him; his shirt usually hangs slightly off one shoulder. He generally carries a very curious but happy grin on his face. Hibiki has never been seen in shoes, or carrying a weapon.
Personality
Hibiki is a kind boy and always seems happy. He smiles even under stressful situations because he doesn’t let things get to him, no matter how bad they are. This has the unfortunate effect of making him seem emotionally insensitive. He will help people through their problems but he will never let them upset him personally. He is a smart and curious person and loves to learn and explore. Hibiki is a very peaceful person, he will avoid fights if possible, only fighting when there is no choice or he has someone he feels he must protect.
History
Although Hibiki looks young he is as smart and wise as any person his age; and likely less senile. Hibiki grew up in Japan back in a time where people still respected and communicated with spirits. Hibiki and a host of other spirits that he called family protected a forest near a shrine. But the shine was set on fire and burned down along with a large part of the forest. Without the kind priests of the shrine their forest became neglected and forgotten and in time so did the idea of speaking to spirits at all. His family separated at that point and headed out in search of new homes and new lives. Recently he heard about a beautiful Azure Castle where people still believed in spirits and they were in fact welcomed with open arms.

Character Traits
Perfect Auditory Memory: Similar to photographic memory, Hibiki can remember perfectly any thing that he hears.
Perfect Pitch: He can name any note he hears without a reference note, and can sing in the correct pitch without reference
Abilities
Rapid Growth: Hibiki can control plants; a popular use is to grow vines that bind his enemies. Rapid Growth was originally used to help plants in the forest, so although it can be used as a binding technique, it is not meant to be an offensive one.
Family and Relationships
Hibiki said goodbye to his family many years ago. Some of them were killed in the fire that destroyed his forest and home, others simply drifted away to their own new lives. He talks about them from time to time; the stories are always happy ones of enjoyable times with them. As of right now Hibiki is not in a relationship and isn’t really interested in any one, that may change but it is where he stands at present day.
Goals
Right now Hibiki is new to Azure Castle and he is simply trying to find out if it is a place that he can call home. He has no close friends or family anymore and feels a bit alone although you could never tell by looking at him. He remains happy and has decided that Castle Azure is an interesting place, whether or not it becomes his long-term home.
