Three days, that was how long it has been since the Demons' Den has been abandoned. The 'Fire Demon' had left that day and the 'Feral Demon' had left the same. However, why did he keep returning? The dark male stood before the entrance of the cave he obtained from another pack for his services. The smell was gone now but the memories of the months the lion and he had there was still there. No one has came to claim it yet. That was good.
The wolf turned from the cave and started down the path again to continue on his quest. He had little information about the wolf he was seeking. All he knew was that he was here in the Pride Lands and that he was still alive. The male set out to find out that wolf, that was his goal and he was gonna accomplish it.
"Damn it, runt, where the hell are you..."
He growled as his ears remained up, his crimson eyes narrowed, and his tail flagged symbolizing his rank.
Where the hell does this path go...

The wild dog yawned as she walked. It had been a wonderful she'd gotten a decent nights sleep with Chiboa around. He was ice and warm and it was always good to have another body around for long, cold, nights. Her paws went deftly against the ground, head held high in pride and joy. Her tail wagged behind her with vigor. Imal's mood had greatly imporved since spilly her thoughts to Jamaa and finally knowing what she wanted in life. there were times when old men were right and times when they were wrong.
Jamaa had most definately been right.

((You callin' Jamaa old? xD))
Ashki watched the path, moving his head up higher to see further down. In a distance he could see that there was something was on the very same path. His eyes narrowed, it was moving toward him. The 'Fire Demon' was the only lion or any other species that he tolerated. If this was not one of his own, then it does not deserve much of his time. Then again, maybe it may know there whereabouts of the goal he sought.
Pushing the thought of force, he walked strongly toward it.If it was wise it would not jump to get at him, he would be the one doing that. As the two beings got closer, his eyes narrowed more, a growl emitting from his chest.
"Who are you..."
He growled sternly. It was a Wild Dog from the looks of it. Their species are slightly similar, so that is a bit of a good thing. For her anyways. It was a female and her tail was wagging. She seemed like one of those who saw the brighter things of everything. ....Great.

((She is XD))
I*mal stopped in her tracks. Her eyes tried to focus on the shape before her. With a quick glane, she could tell that it was some thing like her. Not quite, but close enough. The female stalked a bit closer to inspect. His smell wafted to her nose and immediately she knew that this was not her kind. The black creature was just very familar. A soft and respectful bark escaped her maw. It was just a greeting thatr anythink even remotely similar to her kind would see as friendly.
"Hello?"
She hadn't spoken to anything for sometime and it was obvious by her broken speech.

He scoffed and narrowed at her more. She had barked at him. To him, barking was a challenge, a warning of a sort. Should he had taken her up on that offer, he would already be on top of her at her throat. However, right now his goal was much more important.
"What is a Wild Dog doing in Lion territory? Does that no make competition for food? What are you so damn happy about it, it's not like you found you 'happy ending'."
A happy ending, that was what he had until it was ripped from him, maybe that is what made him bitter....perhaps it scarred him much deeper than he thought. His family was stolen from him, his sons spread with the winds and his mate gone as well. He was a broken male now, nothing could repair him....
"Don't make me ask again, I never repeat myself."

Imal wasn't sure what she had caused. Apparently, this male didn't want him here at all.
"Lion territory? I can be wherever I want considering that it's lion territory." If no others of her kind occupied it then it was perfectly fine for her to be walking through. This male probably just wanted to start some trouble or had a distinct reason for being there. The fur on her neck bristled as she took another few steps closer. He had no say in where she decided to go.
"Good. You shouldn't repeat yourself to us who don't need the question again."

He smirked. Apparently, he had hit something.
"Not much one for respect are you. Well, I ask simple questions and I am attacked by words? I guess I should not ask a question that would benefit me now should I."
He narrowed and growled. If she attacked him again, he would attack her, physically. She was in luck that he did not attack her for the first disrespect. His questions where only those of curiosity regardless of how they had sounded to her.
"I am Ashkikatazwa, Alpha of the Muroder Pack."
Ex-alpha, but he still sees himself as the Alpha. That was how he lived for many a years and it became a life-style for him. He did not let anyone close to him, he could not bear the idea of betrayal again. First it had stripped him of everything, what else did he have to lose now? If he found his son and began to open himself up again, he will lose him. He opened up to few, very few, and only those were able to get him to respect them. Those who are close to his heart were, to him, his 'pack'.

She snorted and flicked her ears. Respect was certainly something that he didn't have at least a good tone of voice. Orange eyes burned with an extra brightness as she starred at him. She didn't enjoy being made a fool of especially when she wasn't a fool to begin with.
"I have plenty respect. Your tone is quite hypocritical Ashkikatzwa."
Even his name was hard to say. A chuckle washed over her at the thought of aving a name like that. Of course she wasn't one for decency but nothing good escaped a laugh. "Imal. I am nothing but a rogue."

Ashki narrowed.
"This is how I've always been, Imal. I may sound 'hypocritical' but it is not my intention of the questions I've asked."
Ashki was starting to get a bit irritated by the female. He did not have the patience. His son was out there, the sun was gonna set in a few hours meaning he'd need to find a place to sleep. He looked back to her and sighed.
"Imal, have you heard anything about a wolf named Usu? Or Usufii?"
He was just gonna get the information that she may have and leave. If she knew nothing then he'd just leave. He did not have time to waste, none at all.
"Help me, and I will give you some help."

Imal shrugged. If he needed to be that way then why stop him. She was just passing through anyway.
'Well, don't go judging othrs because of your tone. Just a thought, Ashki." It was odd to be talking to someone else after so long, especially one that was trying her patience, but it was getting dark. Maybe he needed help with something.
"Usu? That name doesn't sound familiar..."
Thinking back to all she had met, there wasn't anything that brought usu to her mind. "Do you need a place to stay for the night?"

Ashki shook his head.
"I need no place, I must keep searching. I must get more information and find him. I appreciate the offer, but I will search through the night."
He turned from her, then turned his head back.
"If you don't want to be alone, don't want to be a rogue. Mate, find one and start a family. You cannot go wrong with that. When you do....don't let them go."
He replied, his advice to her from his own experience. He turned his head back and deterred from the path in the grasslands. Then, just then, his voice was soft; a tone lost long ago when he lost everything.
Ashki pressed forward, onward to find the wolf named Usu. The one he knew as his son.

Imal bowed her head.
"I'm sorry that I couldn't help you ashki. Find me again earlier and I would be more willing to help you look." A smile curled her maw as she headed again in her original direction. That had been odd considering how awkward that male was but maybe he would come of some use someday. Chiboa was waiting and it would be rude to keep him at the den alone for the night.
"Good luck Ashki. I will keep all my loved ons close." With that, the female broke off into a run towards her den and her future.
