This is a story I'm writting in my journal as well. Since no one reads it there I thought I'd post it here.

Once upon a time there was a princess named Gray who lived in a castle upon a cloud. She was happy there for sometime but then she grew lonley. All she had up there was her toys and pet cat.
"I will go down to the real world and see what it's like, I will come back someday my friend to visit and to die," The princess said.
So she went down the rainbow path to Earth. Halfway there it stopped and she fell from the skies and into the valley of monsters. A seemingly kind monster caught the princess in her fall and took her to his home. There he let her rest in his giant bed. For a while Princess Gray was happy with the monster, he played with her, fed her, and read stories to her. What more could she ask for?
Then one day the monster said, "I've enjoyed my time with you sweet Princess Gray but I'm afraid I am hungry and I've fattened you up. It is time to say good bye."
The Princess Gray felt a great pain in her heart, how could she persuad the beast to not eat her? Suddenly an idea popped into her head, "Oh great monster, I know how hungry you must be but you must prepare a feast if you wish to dine on a princess! Also I wish I could send a letter to my dear friend in my castle wishing her farewell before you eat me up."
The monster thought, "Hm, what a grand idea! I shall make you into a feast. You may go to the tower to send your message but if you do not return by dinner tonight I will find you and make your death ever most painful."
Princess Gray nodded then ran up to the tallest tower. She quickly wrote the note and attatched it to a falcon's leg, "Please take this to the bravest, strongest man you can find. God speed oh mighty bird." With that the falcon took flight.
(to be continued...)
