"Have you ever heard a bone crack loud enough to make one deaf?"
The male called as he loomed over a ratel, back to the ground, his paw upon the rodent's chest, claws against its body. The creature's eyes were wide with terror, the emotion that this lion loved so much and lived for a lot. This was an innocent. Whenever he got bored he would set out to find and kill one.
"You'll hear one now."
With a quick thrust of his paw, the crack of the ratel rang out before it became silent again. It was short lived. The male gathered himself and took a breath. It was not enough to keep him entertained, his interest was slipping again. Perhaps there was a female around willing to bend over, then again that never stopped him from jumping them. His body was lined with a good deal of muscles over the years of brawls. What Mrost had told him was still going through his mind, he was surely good at influencing another. It seemed as if he was a king, he could lead them so easily. Perhaps he led a secret army of some sort.
But the rest of what the blue god told him was still a blur to him. His crimson eyes glanced to the sky and back to the horizon. There was nothing here at the Pride Lands, there was no point in coming to begin with. There was only one reason for the male to even gotten this far and that was because his 'father' had asked him too. The Pride Lands were too peaceful. He wanted Mrost or some neighboring pride wage war against them so he could join in the bloody massacre.
With a sigh, the dark male got to his feet, took a bang into his maw, and began walking. The dirt paths lead everywhere around the Pride lands, it was what gave him something to follow when he seeked something to kill off. But what he wanted the most right now was a female, he did not care who or what, just a female. Like he says from time to time, "a tail's a tail."

The black pelted goddess was wandering somewhere. Perhaps in circles, but at this moment in time she did not care. She was alone, not able to harm anyone, she was not asleep, where nightmares plagued her dreams. Things were alright, dull, uninteresting at this moment. But so many other days were the same as well.
Her wings were pulled against her back, silver hues watching what lay before her. She wasn't focusing on the real world entirely, mind trying to visit fonder memories of her past. Her tail flicked to the side, she was silent at times like these. Her head ached somewhat and she closed her eyes, head aches. She wasn't fond of them at all.
Rage sighed, situated herself and laid on her stomach, resting her head on her paws. SO tired, she yawned, trying to keep her eyes open. She did not wish for sleep just yet, wished for something else more peaceful. Perhaps a dream, but dreams never came, nightmares and terror were everywhere.

The lion yawned and walked up a small boulder that probably dropped down to a path. As he ascended the rock, he had a feeling of strength, the scent of blood, the scent of a female. Another fighter? Kinari had a strange knack for picking those who have fought and killed. Looking around with a cheery (for him) smirk and kept on walking. At the zenith of the rock, he could see what he smelt and it was surely a sight.
It was a Goddess.
So there are more of them, those immortals. Mrost had mentioned something about being more....but two in recent days? Maybe they are now coming out now. ....a Goddess, now how would I look like defiling a Goddess, a being of such nobility?
A sly smirk parted his maw. He was rather enjoying these thoughts. He crouched down and jumped down and landed before the female, his eyes narrowing at her. A large black Goddess, wings dipped in red, red markings on her body. A very interesting female.
"Who are you, female?"

Ryu'Rage breathed deep, taking in the scents around her. Nature, it was a wonderful thing sometimes, other times, not so nice. Things killed one another, others died, disease spread, plagues murdered masses in the blink of an eye. Though she tried to believe there still was some good out here in this world. She still hoped.
A voice, she raised her eyes to meet a form of a male, black mane, strange expression in his eyes and maw. A scent, so familiar, was it blood or death? SO close to it she could almost taste it. It made the beast in her churn and growl, but she kept silent, eyes upon him.
"What may it matter to you? I am not trespassing as far as I know...but if you must know, I am Ryu'Rage, who're you stranger?"

"I care not for your name, Goddess. A name is but a brief things until we meet our fates. You may live on, but I won't and fall with the wind when my time comes. And as for if it matters to me, it does. You reek of blood, death, and I can sense a bit of power from you. You are a fighter, aren't you?"
He smirked a toothy grin at the black female before him. He would just loved to ravish her for all her worth and leave her. No female has dared defy him, well who lived anyways. He had his way around female thought out his life. Mate, pleasure, get bored, killed, and moved on, that was how he worked. However, a Goddess is a different matter all in itself.
Kinari began to move around her, his crimson eyes stuck on her.
"Tell me, Goddess, what seems to bother you? Does death frighten you? Does war interest you? Tell me, Goddess, who are you. I mean, the true you."

Rage narrowed her eyes at him even more. He did not even offer his name, truly he was not noble, he was not grand. He was something less then that on a chain linked to destruction. His own actions would bring about his downfall, she had seen it happen before. "What does it matter if I am a fighter, I have sinned in the past many a time, I cannot escape that truth...I am not whole, I am a demon upon this earth..."
She stood up, ruffled her feathers, and watched him. If he believed he would have his way with her, he was mistaken. Her blood was beginning to boil, if he tried anything, Rage was not sure if she could suppress it. If she was in danger, she could not control herself.
"Death does not frighten me..." she said harshly, watching him, flicking her tail to the side, "I have longed for it many nights in fact...but it will never come..." she said softly. War? First thing that came to her mind was Mrost, teh god of War. Yes, she had to go find him soon, she needed his help in controlling herself. He was the only one that stopped her in a moment of rage.
"I'm a demon cursed to walk this plane for my life...why must you know this stranger? You have offered nothing to me in words... if you are done interrogating me...then I will leave, you do not interest me with your company..."
She turned from him and began to walk away slowly, yet somehow she knew, he would not let her leave so easily.

"Fighters deserve to know my name is the matter. My name is Kinari, remember it well for it will fade with all the rest of us Mortals come War time. I have sinned much more than you, Goddess, surely you cannot out-sin me."
He smirked and sat down. She was a strange one, walking away from him. Normally, if it was just a regular female, he would have jumped her then and ravished her. Some call him sick, he calls it instinct. His smirk grew wider with the mention of death. That peaked his interest among anything else.
"A demon? A God? A mortal? Either way, you exist, Goddess. I must know for I wish to know all fighters who will participate during a war. Easier to give and receive commands."
He shrugged when she began to leave.
"Oh well, I was hoping for some company with a beautiful and strong fighter such as yourself. Too bad, I guess you're not up to it then."
With quick movements, the mortal bound before her.
"Are you?"

Ryu'Rage stopped and peered at him through the corner of her eye. He was a strange one. He sinned more then her? Perhaps, she doubted it though. Her sins she labeled as the worst of them all, what could he compete with? A kill here or there, he did it perhaps he wished to, she couldn't control herself, so she had taken the lives of the innocent for no reason.
"A war you say? What is this war? You, give commands to one such as I," she turned to face him, the beast speaking now, "you must be joking..." the beast chuckled within her, this one named Kinari give her orders in a time of war? Pfft, like she would even listen to him.
"You may try to compliment me, but it will mean nothing to me Kinari," she said softly, beast repressed again, lighter of the dark present now. "What I'm up to? You must speak more clearly, for I do not agree to anything I do not understnad with confusing words that you give..." she narrowed her eyes at him, "if you think you can trick me...think again Kinari."

"Oh don't get me wrong, Rage, I too do not listen to commands too easily unless given to someone I respect. Yours is dwindling and I know mine is with you. I am sure a Goddess of Rage will come handy in times of War perhaps even lead one."
He smirked, he did not falter to her. No he has been through worse. He knew of no weakness to himself for her to pry on, none whatsoever. Kinari felt a slight anger from her just then as if an entirely new Goddess had appeared before him in a blink of an eye. It made him shiver in pleasure.
"Oh, Goddess, you think my words are hard to follow, I'd say yours are the hardest I've heard. Even Mrost spoke better. I did not come here to trick you, manipulate you in some ways, but that was far gone by now. Besides, would you not like some company since you cannot sleep? Your eyes look a bit heavy and from when i came it seemed as if I interrupted your rest."
The dark male smirked again. She was far more interesting than any female he knew.
"We both have sinned, we both have fought, we both killed. To me, I see not a lot a difference."

She sighed and growled within herself. Truly strange he was, trying to pry into her mind, find something he was looking for. He was playing her for something, he wanted something, she knew that as if it was painted on his face. One like him wouldn't just wander up to someone just wanting to be friends...unless he wanted allies of power.
Lead a war?
Like she would lead a war.
Perhaps her darker half would, if it had total control, but it did not, so she would not lead a war, perhaps follow one, follow Mrost if he needed her. Mrost was power, he was powerful, he could stop her if she ever lost control of herself again.
He knew Mrost?
Ryu'Rage's eyes settled on him, so Kinari knew War then? Interesting, very interesting. Perhaps she did talk in confusing tongues, but it was not her own choosing. She wished to snap at him for talking about company during sleep, she would not let her eyes fall shut in front of him, no, far from that.
"I may not be able to have peaceful nights, but that does not mean I wish for company...and we are nothing alike you and me, you don't know me at all, only heard things....you don't know anything..."

Kinari frowned.
"You'd think I'd take advantage of you whilst you rest? Do you take me as that sort of male who'd jump onto a female at any opportunity? I admit that I would jump a female when they are awake, when they can fight back. But taking one who is sleeping is not what I do. And you blew my meaning of company far out of proportion. What I meant was a 'friendly' chat as we walked or rested."
At least that was truthful no matter how sarcastic his voice was. Actually it was rather stern and quite serious. He frowned. He was being denied. Something he did not tolerate well or respond to either. He growled and rose to his feet.
"If you do not want me around, fine. But denying me of some company is something else. I will surely get you back for this. But that will be some other time when you don't expect it. I may be 'kind' at times, that is the only time others could be safe around me. Right now, it is thinning rather rapidly. Now, what do you say?"
His face was a scowl and a quiet rumble churned in his chest. He was ready to up and attack her regardless of her nobility. Frankly, he had been wanting God blood for some time.
"Choose wisely or you will regret it."

Rage watched him, anger in her eyes and heart. Blood boiling, a growl low in her throat. "I know what rogues have done in the past, forgive me being cautious, some have tried to take advantage of me in the past..." she remembered that day. It made her depressed and angry, when her family had given their lives to save hers, when others wanted to use her for a weapon.
"You say you would jump upon a female who is awake...how do I know that you are not planning that very thing against me as I speak Kinari?" she watched him, faint expression of anger on her maw, eyes swirling with emotion.
"Get me back?" she frowned, "I doubt you could...denying you company I am, what will you do now Kinari? Run off to plot against me? Pity, when I saw you first I believed you were something more then you are...." she turned from him again adn began to walk away once more, "and that is nothing..."
Neither side of her was up for this at the moment, but he could still attack her? No matter, either way, she could either prove a point, or let her darker half have a bit of fun.

Kinari hung his head with a dark laugh.
"You are right, Rage. I have thought of taking you here and now, however, our conversation about war, death, and sin had captivated me more than my need to pleasure. I was planning to take you, but that has been gone."
He glared at her.
"If I told you what I was planning, Goddess, than what fun is that for me? You agree, you have denied me. You will surely see me again now, you have set that into stone. And here I thought I might actually like you."
He shrugged and turned from her. A dark smirk parted his maw when he reversed and lunged at her. He prepared for a bite and if not rebound into a swipe. He planned to hurt her more than she would have been if she allowed him company.
"I'll make sure you regret it!"
He snarled out as his body fell from the air and onto her.

Rage growled as he continued to talk. Did he ever just shut up? SO he wanted to take her? Kinari was not the first to think it or try it, none had succeeded however, she was proud of that. Though sometimes she did wish to know what intimacy and love was like. But what Kinari thought probably wasn't what she hoped for.
"Leave me be..."
She watched him lunge, claws and fangs and all. Did he really want to hurt her? Physical pain meant nothing to her, she had felt it more times then she could count. Her nightmares could give her more harm then Kinari could physically. Her eyes narrowed, she growled and bared her fangs,
"So you want to fight?!" she growled, her blackened aura seeping form her paws and wings, darker side winning the internal battle now, the aura swirled around her and she took a jump back so he would not touch her. She didn't want him hurt, she would not be able to control herself.
"Stay away! I can't control it Kinari..." she growled. The darker side of her wished to use her aura to hold him in place, to lash out against him, watch his blood spill, but she was fighitng it.

Kinari could only laugh.
"Stay away!? You want me to stay away? Never! I am Terror!"
He shouted as he swiped and slashed at her. He may be on his back, but that made her underside vulnerable. He would rip and tear at her until she bled her deity blood.
"You may scar me away Rage, but I will return ready again to tear you apart, I will make you regret, I will make you fear!"
He laughed again jumping from under her and got low into a crouch. His body was riddled with scars, they showed the mistakes he had done and suffered. The wounds he'll sustain will be proof that he had made them and learned....then again that does not stop him from doing ti again.
"Come at me, Goddess. Let your anger fuel you and attack me you Nature's Reject!"
