 Sloth stood out in the open, looking around. She was waiting for Gluttony and hoped he'd appear soon. She sorely missed his company. Knarl wasn't so much fun to hang around, with his wolf problem and skittish-ness. She wandered over to a shady spot and laid there, her eyes slightly closed, and her ears flitting back and forth.
"Mmmmm, I hope he's here soon." She murmured opening her eyes again with a sigh.

Gluttony galloped around the lake looking for fish. A bass of good size jumped out of the water at the apperance of the deer's shadow only to find death at Gluttony's jaws. He slurped it down swiftly. "Yummy..." he muttered with a lick of his jaws. Suddenly, he began to sniff the air. "Sloth?" he breathed, "Hmmm...." He ran off to look for something she could eat.

Sloth knew Gluttony was near, she could always tell. It was a comfort, and she adored it. Her head laid down ont he ground and closed her eyes to rest. She hoped he brought her something tasty when he came. she laughed softly and itched her head lightly on the ground.

Smelling the sweetest of scents, Gluttony turned off the lake's bank and into the dence wood. A tree loaded with small yellow and red fruit lay in his path. Gluttony slowed to a stop before the small tree. He lowered his head and licked one from the ground. The sharp, sweet taste of ripe cherry filled his mouth. "These will do!" he laughed rearing up and snapping a large branch from the tree. He trotted to where he senced Sloth would be.

The sound of hooves resonated through the ground and to her ear. She flitter them and opened her eyes to see Gluttony bringing her a branch with pretty things on them. She could only hope they were fruit. She loved fruit, it's what the humans had feed her the most, especially the boy.
"Oh Gluttony, are those what I think they are?" She asked reconizing them as he got closer. The doe stood up and shook out her fur.

Gluttony set the branch tenderly in front of her. The cherries glinted brightly in the sunlight. "Hey, how are you?" the stag asked with a toss of his antlered head.

She nuzzled him lightly. "I'm well." She looked at him. "how about you?" Sloth asked, lowering her head to pick one of the fruits off the branch. She flitted her ears happily.

Gluttony flopped down into the grass beside her. "I am well," he snorted. His red eyes had a warmer glow to them as he gazed upon Sloth. "And this day is wonderful, don't you think?"

Sloth chuckled and looked at him as she movedso she faced him more when laying down.
"It's a very nice day. What've you been up to?" She said as she picked a cherry off the branch and munched on it.

Gluttony moved and laid beside her. "I've been waiting and searching for you," he purred roughly nuzzling her. He made sure his antlers stayed far away from her though. He had sharpened them to help him kill for meat.
