 Okay, today is WAS Teacher reccomendation day. Meo was recomended for some classes she's half afraid of. :___: (Whooo, liikt that funny lookin' face xD) Anyways, Here's what meo was taking Frosh year, Last year (9th grade) xD
Applied Art I // Fine Art I (Half year courses)
Academic World History I
Academic English I
Spanish II
Algebra I
Lab Biology
Gym // Health
This year (Soph, 10th grade) she's taking these classes ::
Applied Art II
Academic US History I
Academic English II
Spanish III
Lab Chemistry
Geometry Honors
Gym // Driver's Ed
She's being recomended for...
Applied Art III
Academic US History II
Spanish IV (Honors)
Lab Physics Honors
Algebra II (most likely not honors)
And Gym it's the basic stuff. She had a lab today, and didn't go to gym. I'm gonna drop spanish for Computer Graphics and Photography I, with my backup electives being Child developtment I and Principles of psycology.
But anyways, Lab Physics Honors scares her. Why? because I have to be taking Pre-Calc WITH it. gonk I can't take that until Sr. Year, IF I even choose to! sweatdrop Physics. O___O *is scared* I don't like Honors classes. >___< I get where the teacher's coming from though. >__< I'm just kinda like ... "I can't take pre-calc yet. .____." Regular Physics only requires Algebra II, which I'm taking next year.
What I don't get is how I'm getting recomended for Spanish IV (an honors class)... when I'm currently FAILING Spanish III. sweatdrop I know I have to bring that grade up or I'm seriously dead, but still. The teacher recomended me for that class. There's seriously something wrong in her head.
Sooo yeah. I'm kinda ranting, but yeah. Anyone else know what classes they're taking next year, or have any idea what they might be?

Teachers don't normally look at grades as much as they look at the next step up in a sequence of classes. That likely explains why they recommend Spanish 4.
I'm taking Psychology this year. Tis quite fun. :3

*High school sophomore*
This year, I'm taking:
Pre-Calculus Pre-AP TAG
English II Pre-AP TAG
Chemistry I Pre-AP TAG
World History AP TAG
Tech Theatre I
French III
...And a study hall. But that doesn't count, because I'm in there against my will because my parents think I need it. And lawlz, TAG means Talented and Gifted. *Special*
Next year, as a Junior, I'll most likely be in:
Calculus AP TAG
English III AP TAG
Biology II AP TAG
US History AP TAG
Tech Theatre II
French IV (Possibly AP TAG; it depends on how many people sign up)
And...Maybe another study hall? ^^; I'd really like to take Digital Graphics and Animation, but my parents probably won't let me.

1st semester College:
Chem II (cuz I got a 4, and not a 5 on the AP exam... so I got to do "everything, all over again" x_x)
English (Communications I) bleh...
Philosophy... n_n
Calculus II (evil incarnate... >_>( ) )
2nd semester:
English (Communications II) bleh...
Botany (don't ask... had to take some sort of bio. science... x_x)
Linear Algebra (Algebra that needs Calc II to be understood... scary...)
Calculus III (if Calc II was evil incarnate... guess what this is... >_<)
Oh... and I'd recommend that you take the hardest classes they'll let you into... my only regret from HS, was that I didn't take more AP classes... o.o

English 10 AP (only because half of the kids are AP kids. sweatdrop It wasn't originally an AP class, but it got changed after the school year begun. Not that I mind)

Meo doesn't wanna be a smart cookiiiie. gonk She's in classes with SENIORS. eek And she's only a soooph. sad Not that Seniors aren't cool peoples, Meo just doesn't like being a smart cookie and in classs with the majority of the classmates being older. .__. but that's how it's often been. sweatdrop Meo's to smart for her grade level. >___<

Meri- Kurisumasu! heart in ILC, I have three friends- a senior, a junior, and a sophomore like me. biggrin I was ranting this morning because I used to talk to this girl online who would always go spelling-nazi on me when I spelled the most obscure word wrong (even just one letter), because I have to spell my words phonetically before I can spell them right, and then she spelled 'scene' 'scence' and 'acquaintance' 'acquantaince'... and then she bitched at me for using the word 'she' like five times in an eight-sentance, fully-functional paragraph. Well, duh...the character was speaking...those rules don't quite count when an uneducated, not-so-smart character is speaking. My friend who's a senior was like 'wow. XD she sounds dumb' I forget where I was going with that. :< Next year, I might take photography or I might take Jewelry again (after this semester I'm eligable for Jewelry 2), and I want to take the art portfolio class some time...

How is it stupid? It helps someone find a class that goes at a pace they can learn well at =/ You have like This I, II, III, IIII and Honours. It's just dumb. You should just sign up for This, and they'll put you in the one they think you should be in based on your grades.
